The good news is that backers get their money refunded. Kickstarter has conditions in place that prevents a company from not fulfilling their agreement, so I can guirantee these developers will need to pay back every cent. I've never heard about that, in fact I always heard the opposite, that after a campaign ends sucessfully, you are on your own, I will need to read their terms sometime to understand better about this. Its a shame that this game won't have a conclusion, since its trailer really got my attention. I was plannin to get it on a sale. I'm a little confused though. This game isn't finished or they we're referrin to its sequel? Because turning a 2.5D game into 3D like they mentioned, after its made isn't a good idea. Now if they're talking about the sequel, I can even understand. This is where that's covered www.kickstarter.com/terms-of-use#section4Kickstarter has all individuals agree to a basic contract between the developers and the user. While Kickstarter does not moderate or oversee projects, this contract leaves developers liable to litigation if they don't deliver. Additionally, I don't know if Kickstarter will drop support for certain individuals if they have a large enough dispute between the project lead and the donors, but in the name of public fairness (and their public image) I'd wager that to be likely. I also think what happened is that they tried to upgrade the game from 2.5D to 3D, and that burned their budget. They thought too big, and overspent, a similar fate that happened to Mighty No. 9, and led to Inafune-san starting a second Kickstarter for the same project. This is the screen that each developer sees when they start a funding campaign, so it goes to say that people who donated do have rights to get their funds back, and can indeed pursue a suit, if need be. Not saying it would be a clean process, but if enough people are upset about it, it can be done.

I'd love to see MOTHER 3 get a loving and dedicated translation. The franchise means a lot to the fans, and it has a lot of history with Nintendo. the timing for a translation couldn't be better, since Iwata-san had a lot of love for the series, and supported the fans with an open heart and mind. Nevertheless, I am content knowing that there are other fans out there who love this series as much as I do, and even more so that there are people in the industry who still hold it dear. Remember to smile!

I wonder why so many people ask this question... Curiosity mostly. That, and excitement. Though in my opinion, there's no such thing as a bad or stupid question. Learning is a path to growth, and the more people who learn about Bloodstained, the more it will grow!

I would just like to get to know the development team. A weekly spotlight on folks involved with the project would be great. I know exactly what you mean. I'd LOVE to do a few interviews, and see what makes the team tick. Programmers, IGA, Yamane, Localization staff... This is a huge team effort, and I'd love to hear the opinions and thoughts of as many members as possible.

When one thinks of the PlayStation Portable handheld console developed by Sony; they often recall it being a home for titles like โFinal Fantasy: Crisis Coreโ, โDaxterโ, โMetal Gear Solidโ, or โGod of Warโ. It is not very often that larger and longer titles such as โLunar: Silver Star Harmonyโ, โBrandish: The Dark Revenantโ, โYs: Oath in Felghanaโ, or โLegend of Heroes: Trails in the Skyโ, are though of as a primary market on the (now legacy hardware) consoleโs market. These titles are often far more akin to home console games, due in part to their deep stories, extensive hours of gameplay, well drawn out narratives, challenging controls, combat mechanics, and detailed character customization features; many of which are an unusual find in the handheld marketplace. These delays often lead to a more accurate translation though; and the inclusion of an "omake" box, filled with awesome collectables. Previous releases under their old name came with items such as: Full leather manuals, wristwatches, trading cards, soundtracks, cloth maps, and... punching puppets? Who knew? To further make things interesting, and to counter the fact that the PSP is a legacy console; the company is asking its fans to vote on the UMD's design. You can cast your vote and pre-order your copy by checking out their Twitter page (as shown in the article below). An excerpt from the company's website details the included bonus features and bundled items. For more on this title, and its publishers news, check out the full story here! What do you all think of this sort of thing? Will you be nabbing a copy of this title for the PSP; even though it is not supported by Sony, anymore? "A bird with scorched wings... Cannot fly. Guess he didn't like being skewered. Ngh...never-nevertheless... Hope will persevere. I just need... A bit more mana!"
Canopus was visibly worn down after his onslaught rippled outward upon the beast. His breathing was laboured, and his body refused to heed his commands. He had used too much mana without preparation for the beast's riposte! The situation was due, he thought; as the unnatural flares cracked through the terrain, having hit their mark.

I dig the design, Togposh! It fits really well with the scroll like background. It's almost like a wanted poster! The only thing I dislike, is the cut off of Dunbnan's lower half. It looks a bit incomplete as it is, you know? With these factors in mind... I'd rate it an 8/10!

Not bad, Galamoth. But it could always be a bit better. I'd have liked the gif to be a bit longer and a bit less fuzzy, if possible.
For whosoever will be rating mine, please do bear this in mind. My signature changes at random. There are many different assortments to be had, but most of these were hand designed by me. I would appreciate your honest review!

"Ngh... Not bad. I was hoping this would be interesting! Guess I should get serious, too!" Canopus extended his hands as a glyph appeared on the ground beneath him. The air grew chill and wildly whipped around him, as he materialized a mighty spear unto his right hand. Lunging forward with what seemed like reckless abandon, he makes a fierce attack against his newfound rival! ouPcttHe1-201-6OOC: Can someone please heal me? OOC: That might not save you from PIS though. Plot Induced Stupidity. In this case, it would be throwing spare change at an eldritch abomination. What is this, Final Fantasy? OOC: Hey, it could have been a karma coin. You never know, right?
