I was reading this page and the old interviews linked by it and felt a little dead inside by reading this: It seems that he had a vision from above and knew that even if he liked it, it would fail if imitated, and then someone comes and do exactly that, without he being able to do nothing to prevent a disaster... The idiom "when the cat's away, the mice come out to play" seems to fit well here. Without a pair of watchful eyes over the series, it was bound to fall into replication of other platformers that could possibly resemble whip mechanics. God of War seemed to do just that, and so the concept way essentially transplanted by Mercurysteam. Interestingly, there were 2 different castlevania titles released on the same console as God of War: Castlevania Lament of Innocence, and Castlevania Curse of Darkness. Both carried their own whip based mechanics, and Curse of Darkness improved upon Lament's system. I think these were the most fluid parts of these two titles, as no other combatant was quite as animated or graceful as Trevor and Leon. In my opinion, Hector felt a bit more constricted and rugged (he kept his arms closer to his body, and generally made powerful swings that aimed to crush, instead of slash), and Joachim came across as stagnant, with little life or animation due to his telepathic swords and levitation. This of course was due to the characters natures, but they could have been vastly improved upon.

Bring it on! More D for me! Er. Wait. You know what I mean! xD I've been eagerly awaiting the next iteration of the famed Damphir that inspired Castlevania's Alucard, after his adventures with Dorris Lang (who ironically, inspired Sonia Belmont)! If you could dig up some quotes on those two facts I would be elated. I'm looking for a direct quote. I believe IGA said that D was a source of insperation for Alucard, but it will take some time to rediscover the article, as it is quite old. However, in the meanwhile (while I scour Google for our mystery interview), in the artistic sense (and core plot sense), it seems to fit. Further, considering the fact that we know Yoshitaka Amano is a famous artist in Japan and around the world (he's even working on this project, firsthand. An unusual undertaking for him.), it is worth noting that Amano was entirely responsible for the visual creation of "D", in the first place. After all, the story of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is based on the third novel in Kikuchi's series D - Demon Deathchase. The main character's design is by artist Yoshitaka Amano. Amano's art style was matched for the rest of the characters in the film by animation director Yutaka Minowa. I also borrowed this from the Castlevania wiki, which points out several direct nods to the linking between franchises. While not fully cited evidence to the situation, it does certainly lend a lot of weight to the matter. Vampire Hunter D (吸血鬼ハンターD Kyūketsuki Hantā Dī) is a series of novels written by Hideyuki Kikuchi. The series has been running since 1983, and there are now 20 books in the series. The hero (the titular D) is a dhampir (half-human, half-vampire), and a wandering hunter of the Nobility - his world's term for vampires. The books are illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano, and as of November 2007, Kikuchi and the manga artist Saiko Takaki are adapting the novels into a manga/doujinshi format. Several elements in the Castlevania series seem to be an homage to Kikuchi's novels. Doris Lang's choice of a whip as her weapon, for example, could well have inspired the Belmonts' weapon of choice; the uncanny beauty of Alucard, akiness of D and Alucard's personalities, as well as his parentage and less-than-close relationship with his father are similar to D's situation. In Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, a more humorous reference is made to Kikuchi's famous dhampir in one of Hector's forgeable armours. The Vampire Hunter "Comesafter C" was known to wear a Clown Suit, which is filled with the rage of those he killed. Additionally, here are some graphical comparisons between the series. One other little fun fact. Did you know that Hideyuki Kikuchi always worked with the same artists when it came to her novel cover art? One of those artists was Ayami Kojima. Kojima also worked on much of the art for Castlevania, most famously Symphony of the Night. A further nod to D was found in Genya Arikado (who is Alucard with his hair fully black, just like D; and his original concept by Kojima resembles the famed Damphir!) Matthias Cronqvist (aka human Dracula) also resembles D, and possibly the "Great Ancestor" as well. Further, It is implied that D's mother is a lady by the name of Mina the Fair. Mina is also a key character that Soma (Dracula's Reincarnation) falls in love with. Their fate is left ambiguous, (with the exception being, that they survive) and is entirely up to the player to decide. Here are the art comparisons between franchises. These are just a few, and there are likely others I am failing to recount at the moment. Dracula (Super Castlevania IV) Magnus Lee (Vampire Hunter D) Sonia Belmont (top), compared to Doris Lang (bottom) (Note: Their color palates are also interestingly inverted.) Finally, D as compared to AlucardAlucard (final design, SoTN, by Kojima) Alucard SotN (early concept, by Kojima) D (by Kojima) Genya Arikado (Kojima) D (by Yoshitaka Amano) Matthias (By Kojima) The physical appearance, core plot, demeanor, character personalities, and actions all mirror one another. Some even share names, as mentioned above.

Ok this is really pissing me off, my psp clock resets every time i turn it on and i know that usually is because of a dead watch battery in everything else, theres no info online, its not mentioned in any of the youtubes ive watched, i know there is a battery because i can see it when i take the umd cover off but it looks like the only way to get to it is to take the entire thing apart and tech support just told me to look at the blog (there is nothing on the blog) after waiting 30 minutes to just confirm if there is a watch battery in a psp 2000 and if so is there an easier way to switch it out (they say they dont have anything on the handhelds) >_< grrr i just want my psp to remember the time Flip your console over. On the leftmost side, you will see a door. You can open this by pressing gently on a small button, also located on the left corner side of the console. Behind that door is a (usually) black lithium ion battery, generally in the range of 2300 - 2600 MaH, standard. This is your primary power source when mobile, and needs to be replaced occasionally if it is failing to hold a charge. Replacements can be purchased within fair ranges of affordability online, so that's the good news. If you are having issues with keeping the clock set to a proper date and time, this is most likely the core of your problem. The internal clock only resets if the battery has been drained for over a full day (24 hours), and most consoles tend to last about 2-3, when in full powered down mode. Please do bear in mind, that even if a console is powered off, your battery will continue expending trace amounts of energy, by simply being connected. To prevent this issue in the future, please replace your battery. If you plan to leave the console off for an extended time, it is advisable to withdraw the battery from the console's shell, and store it in a dry, cool location, away from direct heat sources. Further regarding cost, last I'd checked, a first party replacement was less than $15.00 USD. I could walk you through the fix, if you'd like.

Milla Maxwell: Tales of Xillia
Her respect for nature, deep philosophical thinking, neutral and level headed perspective, and her physique are all a large plus to me. Easily the forerunner.
Alicia Melchiott: Valkyria Chronicles.
Strong willed, willing to learn about new subjects, protective of loved ones, excellent cook, amazing listener. All of a these are a sound "yes" to me.
Jessica Albert: Dragon Quest VIII
Passionate, determined, strong moral standing, incredibly stunning skill set, can command attention, possessed of an altruistic heart.
Solid contender.

So, this seems like a good place to ask. Anyone here play tears to tiara 2? I'm thinking about buying it on psn, but I'd like a bit more info first.
I'm a fan of the anime, and love srpg titles, but never really got into fire emblem's gameplay format.
Is this more traditional SRPG,or perhaps a Fire Emblem esque? Is it more of a hybrid?
How does the story stack up? I know it's really plot heavy (and that it may as well be an animated series). Is the investment worth it, and will it hold my attention?
Dlc: are they worth the extra fees?
Do we have any sidequests, or is it straight up one plot line?
Thanks all in advance!

Again, as before... this is my own personal opinion on the names and sources.
On Miriam
The Origin of Miriam?
You know already that alchemy is called the "great work".
Put bluntly, Miriam is likely to be rebelling against this, in her own way. By rejecting its creed, and all that stand with it as madness; she takes a totally different stance outside of the alchemical beliefs she was raised around. After all... The name Miriam is a Hebrew baby name. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Miriam is: "Rebellious". Alternatively, it may mean "wished-for child" (something that the alchemist guild no doubt wanted her to be), "bitter" (towards how she was treated, and never given choices), or "strong waters" (as in turbulence, troubled, deep and reflective). Further, bearing in mind that many Levite names are Egyptian, it might be derived from an Egyptian word myr, which means "beloved" or "my love". This might reflect Gebel's view of her. (As he wanted to build the two of them a place to call home, above all else.) "Miriam"; and its ties to metals, astronomy, and alchemy
Once again tying into the stars and cosmological; the name "Miriam" is represented in astronomy as a term that refers to a large mass. The "102 Miriam" to be exact. This is a moderately large, very dark main belt asteroid. The 102 Miriam is measured by a scale called Albedo. You might recall that Albedo is also a term used in alchemy. In alchemy, Albedo is one of the four major stages of the magnum opus; along with Nigredo, Citrinitas and Rubedo. It is a Latinicized term meaning "whiteness". Following the chaos or massa confusa of the Nigredo stage, the alchemist undertakes a purification in Albedo, which is literally referred to as "Ablutio" – the washing away of impurities. In this process, the subject is divided into two opposing principles to be later coagulated to form a unity of opposites or "coincidentia oppositorum" during Rubedo. Two writings bear importance to this process in alchemy. They may bear the same importance to to the character, Miriam. This is key to us in game, because purification is fully present. In fact, we have a form of Miriam called "Pure Miriam"; which by extension, may roughly come across as "Albedo Miriam" in alchemy. This could possibly tie into the fact that Miriam is the only one left "pure", in some way. Water in the spiritual aspect of alchemy
As mentioned in the previous section, Miriam also means "Strong Waters". Water is also important in alchemy in yet another, more direct manner.
Water stands, like fire, for depth; but also for variables, or - expressed in a positive way - "open" emotions. This is the acceptance of diversity and the will for the new. Water also represents the contemplative moment, the searching in your inner self, for the discovering of the deepest and darkest things of yourself but also for unleashed chaos, for uncertainty without a goal. Water, in opposition to the stability of earth, stands for inspiration, for creation, for giving birth to ideas, longings and hopes, for moving and for changing. Because if water stands still... it will rot, just like things made of derivatives from the element of earth. The Element of Water stands for cleanness and pureness; for innocence and virginity. Water is the force which changes people, minds, time, and everything; as Water itself is constantly changing, but always the same. Water is a constant pulse of life. Wherever fire transforms, water is the element which demands to be transformed in balance. Water is creation and destruction of prior things, and water also stands for care and wisdom; but also hold ties to tranquility, and in healing to restore what was once lost. Water (and Miriam's) colors in alchemy
Blue, purple and white are the colors that represent Water in alchemy.
These a direct contrast to the shades of red that are used to represent Rubedo (and Rubedo we know, ties to Gebel).
This reflects the polar ideals and thought processes of Miriam and Gebel.
Water as a metal? The correlation between water and tin
Here's where it gets confusing.
Water also has a metal that represents it in alchemy. That metal is "tin". Tin is representative of Jupiter. It embodies wisdom, logic, education, maturity and knowledge and is believed to be the metal of the sages and scholars. It is associated with mediation, balance and a philosophical view of life. This metal is also connected to prosperity and wealth. The popularity of tin is dated to the Bronze Age with civilizations around the world making extensive use of it. Breakdown
"Miriam" is synonymous with the ingredients of water and tin in alchemy, tied in through Albedo, and metallurgy. Water is a catalyst. Its commonly used to represent change, wisdom and deep reflection. Albedo represents whitening and purification. Albedo is the opposite of Rubedo. Blue, purple and white, the colors used to represent water in alchemy, are inverted opposites of Rubedo. These are therefore, opposites of Gebel; who uses the fiery color, Red. Johannes; Runes, and AlchemyI'll be honest... This last part will be incredibly wordy, as Johannes is easily the most complex of the three. Now, regarding the character, Johannes... I'd base his origin in Johannes Thomae Bureus Agrivillensis. Johannes was a Swedish antiquarian, polymath and mystic. He was royal librarian, tutor, and adviser of King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden. During his studies, Bureus learned Latin and Hebrew. In 1591 Bureus got a medieval magic book in his hands (from his father in law Mårten Bång who was beheaded 1601) and got interested in Kabbalah. Also Bureus was interested in astronomy, which may have caused another interest of his: Rosicrucianism. Rosicrucianism is a philosophical secret society (much like alchemists were), said to have been founded in late medieval Germany by Christian Rosenkreuz. It holds a doctrine or theology "built on esoteric truths of the ancient past", which, "concealed from the average man, provide insight into nature, the physical universe and the spiritual realm." Rosicrucianism is symbolized by the Rosy Cross or Rose Cross.
Bureus' Danish colleague Ole Worm (Olaus/Oleus Wormius, 1588-1654), together with people like Guillaume Postel (Frenchman, 1510-1581) and Tycho Brahe (also a Dane, 1546-1601) saw the 'new star' (a supernova) in 1572 like a German group of students who would become inspired to write the famous Rosicrucian manifestoes.
Bureus (and his rivals/colleagues Ole Worm and Tycho Brahe) were captured by these Paracelsian writings aiming for world reform based on alchemy and spiritual revolution. In 1593 Bureus became civil servant since he was appointed as editor of religious texts in Stockholm. Just before he moved there, Bureus ran into a runestone that awakened his curiosity. He lived in an area that has many runestones, but he never really noticed them before he saw the stone in front of the Cistercian cloister of Riddarholm. He was captivated by the strange scripts and wanted to learn how to read them. Therefore, he traveled to the province of Dalarne and learned to read the runes from the local farmers. In 1599 and 1600 Bureus made an extensive trip through his native country to find more runestones so he could write down, translate and interpret the texts. King Karl IX even assigned him to translate certain stones. His work regarding these runes and his fascination with the Sybil Alruna, were written of by Guillaume Postel; a famous French linguist, astronomer, Cabbalist, diplomat, professor, and religious universalist. "Alruna" is also the Swedish word for "Alraune", "Alruin" or "Mandragora", the most famous of magical plants and often depicted in alchemical drawings as a crossbreed of a man and a plant. Breakdown
Johannes studies many things, including alchemy and Estoric runes. Johannes belonged to a secret society that used alchemy as a founding principle for world reform & revolution. This order was represented by a Rose Cross, the center of which was pure white. Roses are a key icon to Bloodstained. Expressed fascination with the Sybil Alruna as a source of prophecy. "Alruna" is also the Swedish word for "Alraune", "Alruin" or "Mandragora", the most famous of magical plants and often depicted in alchemical drawings.
WHEEEW.... Finally done. Total time for essay: 2 hours.

As previously stated in that thread... Demon is an evolved form of another source word, Daimon and Daemon. Again, as stated in the other thread... I think it would be excellent to view this side of the legends in a more intriguing light. The Shin Megami saga touches on such thoughts frequently, and I don't mind the idea at all. But are these threads not essentially the same? They both appear to cover the same topic. Perhaps it would be best to merge the two?

I just had a little fun with numerology, and this name. It amused me how close to home this hit the character we know thus far. Here's the results. (For the actual name's literal meaning, and as a cleverly used pun in Bloodstained lore, skip to the bottom.) What does "Gebel" mean in numerology?
The name Gebel belongs to people who are introspective, prophetic, philosophical, and soul searching; but these individuals can be analytical, critical and opinionated. They tend to think deeply, clearly and have an air of mystery about them. They can be solitary and secretive, and they usually have an eventful, exciting life. These people are versatile and have the ability to learn easily. Dependable, very down-to-earth and well grounded; they are always looking for meaningful work. A career where they can take pride in their work and do the best job they are capable of is paradise. Their prime desire is to build a well protected and secure environment at home and at work. They can be very persuasive in achieving set goals and gaining new objectives. They can also be very detailed, intricate, and generally possess great organizational skills. At times they may appear too stubborn and overly critical to those around them; but their practical approach to life and productivity makes them one of the most beneficial members of any community. Soul Urge Number
The Number 1 suggests a strong sense of independence. Possessing a desire to excel and to lead; it is the most ambitious number, and can bring those who identified with it to the greatest heights. "Dream the impossible dream" is the deepest motivation of these people, and the hidden motive is self-acceptance. Number 1 promotes masculine energy expressed as action and accomplishment. Number 1 represents desire. It can be a desire to love; or a desire to gain knowledge, wealth or wisdom. Number 1 isn't usually known for their patience, because they have so much to accomplish in this lifetime and so little time to do it. Because of this, there's no time to stay and look inside themselves, or to keep waiting for others. They may appear selfish at times, but it comes from a compelling urge for freedom or action, and their preoccupation with establishing their identity. Life path Number
The life path number of Gebel is 22.
Meaning of this life path number:
The master life path number 22 or 22/4 is most powerful and potentially most successful of all Life Path numbers. This number is often referred to as the Master Builder, and they have the unique ability to see the larger picture. They are visionaries with their feet on the ground, and they have the ability to understand and unite many people toward a single goal. The downside of those with a Life Path number 22 is that they can manifest too many challenges, and risk getting overwhelmed by their own potential. Their special path will lead them to turn dreams into reality. They are a born creator of ideas that benefit humanity, and good management principles are generally behind what they do. Common career options could include being a planner, organizer, statesman, diplomat, ambassador, or even president!
Expression Number
Your Expression Number is what you must do in life. Four represents enclosure, completion, and foundation. It is a symbol of earth, the 4th element. Fours are here to build a firm foundation, to labor with concentration, and secure the right to work out their patterns of freedom from any obstacles - such as poverty, heartache and failure. Fours are a very down-to-earth, and well grounded people. Four is associated with home, stability, security, contentment, and a good supply of things needed in life. Protection is Four's birthright. All dreams will be fulfilled if the Four is willing to work for things in his or her life. Security is another keyword for number Four. Building a perfect secure environment, at work or home is the natural desire of all Fours. Four's perseverance is applied towards any job that must be done, or honed in on gaining their objectives. Their organizational skills and productivity make Fours the most excellent leaders. Fours are very detailed and organized, and might appear too stubborn and overly critical to someone with a perceiving personality. The qualities of number 4 can be best described as a "judgmental" personality type in psychology. Personality
The Personality Number is how others see you. The Number 3 is the number of Trinity. Threes inhibit a naturally creative drive that years for expression. Number 3 is a departure from the Number 2 - the source of balance and harmony; and so it is always looking to find a balance by creating something new. There is an urge for self-expression and a desire for variety. Talkative and highly communicative, Threes can relate to many different cultures and concepts due to the flexibility hidden in this number. Music, and the creative arts are excellent outlets of Threes. The biggest challenge of all Threes can be found within a deep rooted uncertainty. Easily bored, these individuals can move from one job to another, easily switching projects and lovers alike. The highly creative force of Threes can lead them either to total bliss or complete despair. One who understands his or her goals when making a major decision in life, then follows it directly... straight up without worry and uncertainty; achieves heights other numbers can only dream about. The number Three (3) is the closest number to the Source, but this light may become akin to dynamite when there are deviations in their path, or when Threes give in to the pursuit of temptation. Hidden passion (innate traits)
The Hidden Passion Number represents your hidden talent. It shapes your personality, and guides your life. The number 5 represents changes, variety, opportunity, travel, escape and a constantly fluctuating life experience. The number 5 is the "Number of Man" and his original five senses. Fives are restless. They are always seeking freedom, and in this pursuit might never be satisfied with whatever they have now. Every time they get closer to something they want, they are still filled with doubt; and sometimes this makes them fearful of what lies ahead, and so a new change must be made. For them, there is always more freedom just around the corner. Fives stand in the center of their existence and try to reach all points at the same time. Always seeking new places, new faces, new changes, and new experiences, they are often welcomed by others because of their honesty (unless they are being totally negative). Fives have their 6th sense of being honest to all, in order to expect honesty and justice from others. It doesn't mean Fives are always reliable or responsible. Their growth is vital, and they don't like to be tied up by rules and obligations. Five's restless spirit might best be controlled by choosing a field of work that meets their demands for action and adventure.
Now I dunno about you all... but this sure sounds like someone who could turn the entire world on its end, if need be. Doubly so if they feel the world is wrong, and not their own stance in life. A strong desire of any kind (even one meant to protect), can be destructive. Once it has been taken to extremes, these sorts of peoplke can give rise to both an internal and external prison; both figuratively and literally. As such, this prison can become a hellish encampment of torment and agony to those who desire to offer sanctuary, and to those being offered sanctum. Gebel's desire was to create a place he and Miriam could belong. But somewhere along the way, his visions became clouded; and his desires were perverted by madness. The result is the Gebel that goes out of control and lashes out at the world around him. In his mad desire to protect what he feels is important, he destroys what he once held dear. This is due to his change in perspective, and his priorities. Literal definition of Gebel, and as a play on words
As for his name's actual origin... Gebel is found used in German history. Gebel also has roots as a Maltese and Arabic word, one originating from the Arabic word Jabal, meaning "hill" or "mountain". It's a rather clever jab at the fact that Gebel is the great mountain that Miriam must overcome in her life. The term "Gebel" can also be tied to Tuna el-Gebel, was the necropolis of Khmun (Hermopolis Magna). It is located in Al Minya Governorate in Middle Egypt. A necropolis is a large ancient cemetery with elaborate tomb monuments. The word is derived from the Ancient Greek νεκρόπολις nekropolis, literally meaning "city of the dead". This is a play on the fact that Gebel raises a castle of his own filled with the undead, demons, and spirits. A literal citadel of the damned, and a land filled with death. A twisted paradise, only a madman could think up. Gebel, and its ties to alchemy
Gebel can also be likened to the Gebel Kamil meteorite which struck Egypt about 5000 years ago leaving a crater surrounded by thousands of pieces of iron shrapnel with a total weight of about 1,600 kilograms (3,500 lb). This link implies that Gebel is destructive and powerful. Further, iron is a a major source material in alchemy; one that is merely two steps away from turning lead into gold (with the one step between that process being copper); therefore making it the source and start of the final phase, Rubedo. So, if we liken the name Gebel to the comet's material (that being iron), we glean a bit more depth. Iron is one of the most abundant elements in the universe; and in alchemy, iron is dominated by the planet Mars. The metal was widely used by the Asian, African and European civilizations. Iron symbolizes the male energy and is connected to physical power, aggression, growth, dependence and protection. It promotes emotions such as lust, confidence, courage, strength, stamina and resilience. It is considered to be the most ‘human’ metal and so, is distrusted by the ethereal entities and spirits. The three alchemical stages preceding rubedo were nigredo (blackness) which represented putrefication and spiritual death, albedo (whiteness) which represented purification, and citrinitas (yellowness); the solar dawn or awakening. In Rubedo, we see the finalization of the Great Work of alchemy. The symbols used in alchemical writing and art to represent this red stage can include blood, a phoenix, a rose, a crowned king, or a figure wearing red clothes. Countless sources mention a reddening process; the seventeenth dictum of the 12th century Turba Philosophorum is one example: "O Turba of Philosophers and disciples, now hast thou spoken about making into white, but it yet remains to treat concerning the reddening! Know, all ye seekers after this Art, that unless ye whiten, ye cannot make red, because the two natures are nothing other than red and white. Whiten, therefore, the red, and redden the white!" When rubedo has been realized, the alchemist has accepted his spiritual inheritance. He has become what he always has been, but never knew he was. He has realized his divine essence while still in his physical body. It is the same as what the gnostici called pneuma, the divine spirit in each man that is concealed in the deep darkness of the world, but can be made conscious again. When rubedo has been manifested, man is master over both the physical as the spiritual world. He has become a King, and a master over himself. When the unification of all energies of the four aspects of totality has been achieved, a new state of being arises that is no longer subject to changes. Chinese alchemy calls it the ‘ diamond body’ which corresponds with the ‘corpus incorruptibile’ (untouchable body) of the European alchemy. It is also the same as the ‘corpus glorificationis’ (glorified body) of the Christian tradition. So what we have here is the following: A great destructive force A citadel of the dead A "mountain" or "trial" that must be overcome. A being who is distrusted by the gods and demons alike, yet still "human". A primarily male energy consisting of physical power, aggression, growth, dependence and protection. A source of emotions such as lust, confidence, courage, strength, stamina and resilience. Rubedo is symbolized by blood (as in bloodstained). Bloodstaind's symbol is a stained glass rose, and a rose represents Rubedo. An awakening of great spiritual power, and a literal divinity in mortal flesh. Rubedo ties to mastery over the physical and metaphysical/spiritual worlds. Gebel, and by proxy, iron and rubedo has ties to kingship. Kings rule from castles, and a castle's king can be called its master. Gebel wears red clothing, and Rubedo is also symbolized by a crowned king, or a figure wearing red clothes. Rubedo is also called the diamond body. The diamond body ties into corpus incorruptibile (untouchable body) of the European alchemy. Diamond is a form of crystal, and untouchable implies greatness, ascendance and power. Ladies and gentlemen, here is your alchemical recipe for the core character, Gebel.

Canopus first, nah your fine no need to apologize, I'm sorry if came off as rude or harsh with my explanation. You have no idea how often I come across people saying that the KH series 100% owned by SE and how Disney has no involvement, and some times people even saying they want the Disney aspects of the franchise flat out removed, I tend to get more than a little defensive while I info dump like crazy. secondly, thanks for being understanding with my post in your post, its nice to talk with someone about this and not have them, figuratively, jump at me, and its nice to know where your actually coming from with your statements. But one thing I can say for certain, while Disney may not have seemed to have much involvement with the story development of the KH series, they seem to do so with KHII. From what I understand Nomura is actually working with the story writers, and developers, with each of the4 films hes using in KH3 in order to help make them better. That is why Roy Conli has been shown in KHIII videos announcing the new tangled and BH6 worlds, since helped with the production of both those films. Oh, it's not a problem at all! I do understand exactly where you're coming from. Yes, indeed. Disney is really increasing their involvement in recent days with all of their properties. I suspect this is a proceeding toward eventually applying such talent to their own publishing company, with these properties. Disney is always looking to improve what they have to offer, and is driven to providing the best in their media and products. It's no wonder that they would like to become more involved, and see how things work behind the scenes, especially if in the future they would like to continue this project with a different publisher, aside from Square - Enix. They have attempted this only once prior to becoming more proactive with the Square - Enix team, and that was in their attempt to publish and design Kingdom Hearts V Cast. This entry was developed by Superscape ,and published by Disney Interactive Media Group (formerly known as Walt Disney Internet Group). Commercially, the game panned and received rather poor reviews. It was subsequently rendered non canon, and quickly replaced with another entry into the series. As this title was not in line with Disney's standards of quality, I think it's perfectly sound for their staff to learn exactly what makes Kingdom Hearts tick.

So, did they ever figure out the logistics of melee combat without dying? And why wouldn't you support the USA? After all, we have... And our hero!

Man oh man, it's been busy over here. Between balancing news and media coverage, managing the new pet, and catching up with old friends... it's been really distracting. I've noticed that some of my posts on sites are starting to get off base, due to all the craziness! Maybe I should just sit back for a while and relax, instead of posting today! LOL
But I hope everyone else is doing well!

I'm glad Canopus mentioned Renon. He's also one of my favorite demons in CV . What I was taught years ago, was that demons were simply fallen angels. Angels in themselves look terrifying and alien, but are shrouded in literal light so it makes it harder for humans to really see how they look. "Demons" are angels without the light, and so if they let themselves get seen we see their true physical terror. (Similarly to this, humans did not see each other as nude before sin because they are shrouded in "holy light". Afterwards though, we lost that light and that is when we saw our entirety.) Some people are in favour with demonkind because they agree that we should live the way we want to live, that we have the right to make our own lives and pursue whatever comes across our minds. That is the reason they "fell". For their freedom. On the other hand, people are in agreement that we as humans are too chaotic in nature to ever do any good by ourselves, which is where most religions come into play. I'd love for there to be some civilized friendly demons, and maybe "enemy" angels as well if there are any in the source material. I really need to read more on that stuff because it all sounds very interesting. Here's a few examples of exactly what you're looking for, regarding darker angel lore. Pretty dark, eh?
