Fore the love of IGA... Enough with the release date begging! the game is coming for real someday soon, theres no need to spam this ***** everywhere. making a question like that looks more like its made to be annoying. you know she won't answer that question because she probably doesn't even know when will that be.
i can answer it for you though. SOON

this is awesome news! im not sure if the questions have to be related to voice acting but here i go.
1. If you could have an accessory or jewelry with magical powers.
What accessory would it be? How would it look? and what powers would it have?
2. In your career as a voice actress, have there been moments when you have to say things so awkward or hilarious that it takes you two or more attempts to achieve because you end up laughing when you first attempt them?
3. have you been requested to say lines that make you feel extremely uncomfortable?

hey thats a bunch of interesting questions and interesting answers!
1. Favourite game Castlevania: Curse of Darkness 2. Worst Game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (original GBA Version) 3. On the wish list Currently: None. Coming soon: Bloodstained and Kingdom Hearts 3 4. Worst Franchise i don't play many genres so this one is pretty biased. if i stick to RPGs i would say... Digimon! 5. Most Dissapointing sequel Final Fantasy X-2 (i still played the game for over 500 hours but story wise and the whole scenario thing was an insulting mess for the FFX story) 6. Favourite Console Playstation 2 7. Favourite Protagonist This is a hard question since i don't like heroic protagonists. Male: Leon Scott Kennedy (Resident Evil 4 Perfect Hair version) Female: Shanoa (Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia) 8. Worst Protagonist Vaan (Final fantasy XII. LOL can he be considered as the protagonist?? the whole story could have happened without him) 9. First Console Nintendo 64 10. Guilty Pleasure Games Battlefield ( i hate shooters and war games) 11. Latest Purchase Bloodborne 12. Favourite Genre JRPG 13. Saddest Scene uff i could list a bunch of them since i play a lot of JRPGs but the one that made me cry the most in the videogame department has to be Pokemon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky (Before the ending, During the ending, During the credits and after the credits >_>. Seriously it was devastating! i cried so much i couldnt touch the game for several days. 14. Favourite Antagonist Ardyn Izunia! (Final Fantasy XV) he is the perfect antagonist and villain in my opinion! He always wins and his personality is so evilish. i would gladly become his minion and loyal servant of evilness. 15. Worst Antagonist Dr. Eggman (Sonic series) 16. What are you playing now Chaos Legion (i like my clasic retro games) 17. Favourite Franchise Final Fantasy 18. Best Soundtrack Castlevania: Curse of Darkness 19. Worst Soundtrack Tenchu: Dark Secret (seriously the game could have been better with Enviromental noises only) 20. First Game that i played: Kirby 64 and the first game i actually finished was Crash Bandicoot 21. Hardest Game Putting Darksouls away i would say it was Yoshi's Island DS <-- Dead serious here. i never struggled so much in my life. other than that then Castlevania Curse of Darkness or Order of ecclesia with Crazy Mode. 22. Best Developers i don't know... 23. Favourite Couple Tidus x Yuna (Final Fantasy X) 24. Worst Couple Mario x Peach (Super Mario Bros Series) 25. Most valuable Games All my original Copies of The Igavania and final fantasy games, Super smash bros: Brawl and 4, Pokemon MD: Explorers of Sky, Parasite EVE 1 and 2 and Darksouls 3 Special edition 26. Latest console Playstation 4 27. Best Voice Acting Gideon Emery (Many... many characters but his Balthier voice from Final Fantasy XII is PERFECT) 28. Most Underrated Games Chaos Legion, Tenchu games (1, 2 and 3), Castlevania games for the PS2 and many other games that aren't shooters or fighting games. 29. Most annoying Character Pretty much every single teenager Female character with a girly voice (Ashley RE4 / Vanille FFXIII / Iris FFXV) 30. Worst console Gamecube 31. Most played games 1st- Final Fantasy X-2 with a total of over 500+ hours through multiple different playthroughs (sad isnt it?)

Im very excited and happy to hear the voice of some of these talented actors.
Personally i've never heard of Erica Lindbeck before but knowing she is the Main character voice i had really high expectations and i was not dissapointed. as soon as i heard her say "hello" i smiled and said: She is Miriam.
i love how Ben Diskin (Johannes voice actor) is nothing like how i picture Johannes in my mind (dead serious, super smart an analytic) but that's exactly what a voice actor is supposed to do. To forget who you are and become someone else, that is something not many can do.
Sara Ryder was my crush in ME: Andromeda and her voice was one of the reasons. Fryda wolff as Dominique is just... ugh (insert inappropriate joke with romance music involved)
Robbie: "Darkness" Me: *Claps*
Amazing update! I would have liked that the update for the Japanese cast would have been a bit more like this.

that moment when you are alone in your room then your brother walks in and finds you crying with glorious music playing in the background. i never mashed the play button so hard before.
all of them are beautiful but i still want to hear the full version of gears of fortune. 1 minute is just not enough.

YESSSS! finally crafting and it looks pretty good! its basic, simple and easy to understand . my hype has been fully restored. also... IS THAT COOKING OVER THERE?? I WAS RIGHT!! I KNEW IT!! I WANT MY 5000G BAG NOW! So excited to spend hours grinding for random stuff, ugh waiting just keeps on getting harder. ok so for feedback. Can we get a better look at Johannes? we only get to see him for half a second and maybe because he is still WIP but he looks like a souless dude staring into infinity. i cannot feel his personality or that me (the player) is interacting with him in any way... he is just there probably thinking about weird chemicals while Miriam plays around with severed demon parts and bottles.
the crafting interface looks a bit boring (NOT COMPLAINING, this is more a personal opinion) we are talking about chemistry and magic maybe it could use a few more colors or just something that makes it look more appealing. im very satisfied with this update, personally i considered this to be the most important update and since its finally here i can finally sleep in peace. i still miss the light blue mana bar and light blue ether, not a fan of this new purpleish and deep blue colors but oh well~ by the way its a bit sad to see the amount of people coplaining for the most absurd things ever... seriously whats wrong with the gaming community these days? always looking for a reason to complain.

i think it would be cool but NO. this should not happen.
one of the many advantages that games with a leveling system have to offer to the player its the overleveling and grinding wich is not always something that can be considered optional. certainly it would be a cool thing if bosses adjust its power to the player level but not in a game like bloodstained and its one of the things that personally i dont see in many games. i think the only game i have played with this mechanic its final fantasy 8.
if i think about it. why should i try to get stronger if at the end of the day the boss will be stronger too? my little 9 nine year old brother being a kid he is typical child that sees himself as some kind of godly gamer that can beat any game without effort until i tried to teach him a lesson and made him play Dark souls 3. have you seen a 9 year old play Dark Souls? its scary and extremely unpredictable. he got his ass kicked countless times, he cried and cursed while my dad wasnt home and almost killed the controller but in the end he learned that if he wanted to increase his chances to win he had to level up (git gud) and ofc he eventually won but not just because of leveling but because he mastered the boss movements and learned how to dodge and predict its attacks wich is the most important thing when retrying bosses and if the boss changes mechanics the stronger you get then this becomes a bit tedious. now if this is locked to change only if the player goes to a higher difficulty mode yes i would love it.
my humble opinion but if for some twisted reason this makes it in game honestly i wont have a problem with that.

As far as I'm concerned, no. I am sincerely curious in how could someone have fun grinding all the way to 255 if grinding to 99 is already tedious enough its not fun i can say that even if i enjoy grinding theres also no point on doing it other than for completionism or showing off. i did it by killing jiang shi so many times it ended as the monster that i killed the most times and it was EXTREME BOREDOM.
in OOE you can become god at lv 150 if not less and im only willing to overlevel Miriam in Bloodstained if theres a true reason for doing it such as a superboss or an area with demanding monster punishing every underleveled or undergeared player. (on a high level difficulty otherwise im sure some people would coplain HARD and make a drama saying something like: Duh why this and that? casual players this and that. why i cant enjoy the game to the full without grinding? bla bla) even if it takes a long time to do it in OOE you could spam kill the monster and respawn it over and over again killing it every 5 seconds or so for 10000+ times until you reached max level. it had no challenge involved other than having patience, time to spend and dedication.

i swear this is the last time i make a cooking mama joke in my life . when i said "cooking mama with Miriam" i was making a joke referencing XombieMike commentary in the podcast not that i wanted to have an actual cooking mama in the game. even i think thats unfiting in Bloodstained. im also pretty sure i said im EXPECTING A COOKING MINIGAME OR JUST A COOKING FEATURE never said it had to be cooking mama carbon copy with gothic style and exotic food and i also never said that i wanted it. like i said before im a potion guy and i rather make lots of colorful potions than Mac n cheese but i dont mind to give it a try. SOTN IS BROKEN! IN TEMRS OF USEFULNESS!! and balance. yes weapons were pretty much unique and thats my favorite thing of the game and the way you use them depends pretty much on your style but that doesnt have a huge or noticeable impact on the game. consumable buffs: were optional but not needed not even for a new player that has never played sidescrollers thrown items: nice damage from safe distance but limited and that same damage could be dealt by spending some MP on spirits. foods: well they were faster than potions but usually weaker and if i met Alucard irl my first question would be: why do you throw the food the floor before eating it? the game give you to many options and thats amazing but i happen to have this one sword that does damage for free at a very fast rate without degrading or breaking. purifyweirdshard already mentioned the rest and cursing doppel was not always a good idea. when i did it he ended up spamming knives and wing dashes so i was forced to "glitch him" to make him jump at me over and over until he died. Crissaegrim is not the only unbalanced weapon in the game and you get that late game also while claihm solais was under the category of broken it was supernerfed in the subsequent games (slowed down with the bonus stats removed). in SOTN all you needed to run through the game without having to worry is~ 1. Tetra spirits
2. SOUL STEAL.
New game (First segment of the castle before Double Jump) - Any weapon (unless you are terrible at dodging or that you forget that you cant touch enemies the first segment is extremely easy (ignoring Ctulhu)) - Rapier (extremely powerful special attack that has 0 MP cost)
- Firebrand (many enemies are weak to fire and its special attack its so strong it makes Ice and thunderbrands look weak however its costly) - Potions and Food (being the beggining of the game the player has acces to some recovery items, also potions are cheap and droped by bats as soon as the game begins)(and yes im aware a new player will not know about the hidden items or monster drops but still!)
Early Game (Double Jump and acces to the Arena) - A weapon of your choice (game difficulty increases a bit but so does the player skill. this time the player has a wide choice for exploration and acces to more powerful weapons) - Shield Rod + Iron Shield (Extremely Broken can decimte entire rooms and destroy bosses in 1 to 3 casts for low MP cost. tho new player will probably wont know about were to get iron shield or the shield rod secret)
- Rapier or Werebane (Still viable options due to their stupid specials) *-Ring of Varda (theres a parantrophus in the arena but it will only drop the ring if you have finished the game at least once)
Mid Game (Bat form and the super jump) - A weapon of your choice (you are still in the first castle and the difficulty its pretty much the same even if you didnt overlevel)
- Shield Rod + Iron shield (still dominates) - SOUL STEAL (player should have enough MP to cast it a few times and can easily Replace Healing items unless you have to use it for transformations also aparently candles and walls have souls too)
- Spike breaker (very high defense for a critical item ,in fact i think it has the highest defense for castle 1 only losing to Diamond mail but that thing is super expensive)
Late Game (Inversed Castle)
- A powerful weapon (sht got serious and player will probably die A LOT unless ofc player rushes the next weapons)
- Crissaegrim - Marsil (Firebrand in a nutshell)
- Dark Shield (scary look and scary Damage) - Mablung sword (Shield rod with higher damage and increase to defense)
- Alucard shield + shield rod/mablung sword (you become God) - Red looking katana i think it was yasutsuna? or osafune? i forgot (super high damage but reduces your DEF to 0)
- Lunar Rod (Special attack that does huge damage in a large area from very safe distance)
- Sword familiar leveled (if you got it to at least lv40 or higher its really powerful as a familiar)
- even More Soul steal (you should be leveling like crazy till lv45 before final knights so your MP should be high enough to cast it 5 or more times in a row)
- More katanas because katanas are OP
- Alucard sword (not really overpowered but still strong)
- Alucard Mail (broken defense against Fire, Ice and Thunder)
im sure i forgot some really OP weapons. LeoLeWolferoux i cant really blame XombieMike for that, it was the perfect chance to mention cooking mama. ... hey arent you the master of Bloodstained Demo grinding? can i have your Autograph?

i just made a silly joke about something that could be or could not be in the game and this happens. you guys need to stop this. ZeroSbr i guess you notice many people here disagrees with your opinion and honestly i dont know how you came to think the said cooking feature was going to be like the actual cooking mama games. opt2not the cooking is not yet confirmed and i was trying to point out that there was a high chance for this to be a thing considering all the hints we got so far. . This isnt a bar fight, have some class :/ and sorry SOTN warriors but everyone knows in terms of usufulnes and balance SOTN was extremely broken.

in this order
1-Music. (Not relevant but i backed this game for Miss Yamane as my main reason for backing it) 2-Crafting/Alchemy/Forging. (WE NEED INFORMATION BEFORE I KEEP GOING RIOT) 3-Weapons and Items. (excited about this but can live even if they dont mention a thing) 4-Abilities. (same as above) 5-Nightmare mode. (give me the main game first)

So is everybody else ready for that cooking mama with Miriam? Absolutely not. Why would this be desirable in a Metroidvania game? Another guy mentioned Odin's Sphere and Zelda BotW for good games that implemented cooking...but first of all, those were different types of games entirely, and second of all, I argue that those games were good primarily because of other reasons aside from their cooking systems. Metroidvania is about exploration with platforming, and getting new equipment/abilities while exploring so you can access new areas and have new ways to handle enemies. A cooking mini-game would not benefit the game at all. It's just outside of the scope of the game. At least with games like BotW having a cooking system makes sense, since you're surviving in the wilderness. Do you think Symphony of the Night or the other similarly styled CV games would have been better with a cooking system too? It would make no sense in those games, and it would/will make no sense in this game either. Why don't we have a tennis mini-game in Bloodstained while we're at it? That makes about as much sense as having a cooking mini-game. I'm sure someone will say, "Well, if you don't want a cooking system in Bloodstained, you don't have to use it." However, this logic falls flat when you consider that the player will be at a disadvantage if they do not use the cooking system, and if they're not at a disadvantage as a result of not using it, then the cooking system is pointless to begin with and development time would be better spent on other things like making the castle bigger and/or making more equipment anyway. mmm i think it was just fine with your first answer were you just said NO because that means you are not interested. i dont want to argument and its not necesarily a minigame maybe it will be as simple as it was in ooe (deliver the ingredients and buy at the general store) but for what i seen so far you are not waiting for bloodstained, you are waiting for SOTN2. sotn didnt have character customization so i guess bloodstained doesnt need it same thing goes for forging. because SOTN was so good theres no need for Bloodstained to innovate or to not be SOTN2?. dont take it as an attack but honestly thats the way i see it. dont take me wrong i hate the idea too, im more a potion guy but why not give it a try? food has always been a reminder for players that the game has some comedy involved like the super awkward food you found in SOTN (frankfurter, modern lunches, peanuts, ice cream, cakes and many other oddities). also its an igavania so im pretty sure the game will be easily beaten by experienced CV players with or without food buffs. in SOTN we had buff potions and i even made a thread about how these were NEVER necesary to finish the game.

So is everybody else ready for that cooking mama with Miriam? im sure im not the only one expecting a cooking minigame or just cooking to obtain food in game. at the end of the day~ great BCB, certainly i did not expect many of the questions to be answered as several of these would include a lot of spoiler or could only be answered by developers but still Angel did a great job answering. such a professional guy. EDIT: to Avoid confusion or misunderstanding my post and the following discussion was originally posted in a diferent thread but it had to be moved to its own thread because it went to far with off topic and it really deserved its own thread, or at least thats what i believe.
take a sit, grab some wine, wear your classy glasses and prepare for some serious discussion.

here goes mine~ note that i will not list the games i didnt play and/or finish Great Tier: Symphony of the Night: i dont think i need to explain why. Order of Ecclesia: lv255, A female Protagonist with a sad story and tons of magic also incredible work with the nintendo DS making it one of the greatest games for said console. also it was HARD! > punish the noobs! Aria of Sorrow: the introduction of the Soul System and a futuristic castlevania with quite interesting characters. and.. you play as freaking DRACULA wearing jeans and elegant fur coat.
Good Tier: Portrait of Ruin: a game that allowed us to explore very unlikely and weird places such as the chaotic playground or travel to the sands of Egypt while being able to control 2 characters at the same time. (i hated the characters... john was to edgy, charlotte was a cute annoying know-it-all and the priest guy looked dumb with that haircut not to mention dracula looks AWFUL. but i still love that game). Castlevania III: Hell its not even an igavania and i really liked that game, it was so good. Harmony of Despair: they made an online game for castlevania and they did it right....... ignore the unbalanced characters please. in all seriousness the game was pretty fun to play and the HD animations made it look like a modern 2D castlevania sadly the game should have been named Rushers of Despair with Soma as the only playable character.
Mid Tier: Lament of innocence: great graphics for playstation 2 with a jojo plot and simple mechanics ( kill the 5 monsters to fight the bad guy and save your Waifu) unfortunately the game was extremely short for both casual runners and completionists and it had very poor RPG elements. a good game regardless. Dawn of Sorrow: Crucify me and burn me at the stake if you want but for me this castlevania wasnt even close to be as good as AoS. the plot is lazy and very random to the point it feels like you are playing a DLC or for anime lovers an OVA. the game hardly makes you feel like a hero this time you are just trying to save your waifu (again) because a bunch of religious fanatics want to wake up dracula... (again) the game didnt introduce many souls as the vast majority of them were copypasted or slightly modified (nerfed) from the previous game. and the weapon craft system was just.. ugh why?? Damnit Yoko! my power to rule! however the amazing soundtrack, the great boss fights and the true grind for the souls make this game a good title and how to forget the Castlevania III tribute with that amazing Julius Mode. Curse of Darkness: NOTE that this is my favorite castlevania but even i must accept the game has its bad things such as the terrible camera control, the super tanky monsters that were there just to die like punchbags or the repetitive corridors. as for the good things this time it had better RPG elements, devil forging wich was the funniest thing of the game (and really broken), it was the first vania game with a crafting system altough it was linear and simple :c but still the combos were amazing, you had tons of diferent Devils and weapons and the soundtrack omg it was glorious. *goes to play it again* Harmony of Dissonance: Okay this game wasnt bad but while i enjoyed it i never really felt the need to complete it 100% or to play it again in my life. it had many secrets and surprisingly a great amount of content for a GBA game, it even felt like a true igavania but theres one reason i didnt like this game... THE SOUNDTRACK WAS TERRIBLE! i couldnt stand it or play for long periods of time due to how annoying and repetitive it was, theres probably only 2 tracks that i like in that game (the center of the castle and skeleton cave) the rest felt so lame and simple but thats just my opinion.
Low Tier: Judgement: it had the potential to be a great fighting game but ended up being the result of to many wrong decisions and as much as i like it i can also agree with the others that the game is bad. Circle of the Moon: i dont feel the need to point out all the things that this game did wrong but i will point out the one i think its the most notorious: THE FLOATINESS! if the posers and haters complain about Miriams floatiness in bloodstained its clear they never played this game or heard about Nathan and his strange ability to defy gravity. also having to hold a button to run was painful for my fingers idk about yours.
i will not include LoS or the other classic castlevanias because they are diferent things. i only ever finished LoS 1 because it was a gift and i didnt want to let someone down and thankfully i never had the chance to play 64. (not going to lie while LoS was 0% Castlevania i had my moments of fun with it).

if you put it that way we can say we like totally diferent things and thats understandable and necessary for discussion to exist otherwise the world would be boring.
what you say its true and i was also thinking that the npc thing could be kind of annoying, "so say i finally got the required materials just let me craft the thing and allow me to use it now! why do i have to go with that guy if i did all the work?" however i think grinding and farming has its levels too and we certainly cannot compare the amount of grind and time it takes to obtain something in a MMORPG with a single player game. completionism in Sotn takes less than a day while obtaining 1 thing in a mmo takes months. my point is even if we have farming in Bloodstained it will not take as much as an mmo or super RPG with 200+ hours of content, thats why i said expect to spend a coouple hours on it.
as for the weapon thing while i could be wrong and lose the 100000G honestly i dont think i will... i have never played a game with a crafting system that does not involve the most powerful gear as a crafting only thing requiring some serious stuff with the only stronger thing being the drop from a superboss or a super hard questline wich kind of requires overpowered gear to beat/complete. also im not a developer but i think that giving players considerably stronger options that dont involve crafting kind of makes crafting look like a waste of time and effort. 1 thing for sure if Bloodstained really tries to emulate Sotn in the weapon aspect then we will be able to beat the game without touching forging given how broken SOTN is when it comes to equipment.
in the end i can say and its sad for me to say it but i agree with you about not expecting bloodstained to be as good as Sotn and theres a large list of reasons why but i would be very happy if IGA and team prove us wrong and make bloodstained a true jewel to be remembered, if not better then at least as good as Sotn.

while i agree with the others that weapon craft in dawn of sorrow was lame and evil (why would you want me to use my favorite souls to make a crappy sword? oh yeah because if i dont im going to be stuck with this even crappier sword for the rest of the playthrough) i will tell you something that i know for sure and like DSLevantine said in another thread i will say it here: Fun is Subjective.
im the kind of person that enjoys killing an enemy as many times as i need just to get 1 thing that i will probably only use for a few minutes or never use it at all and that for me is fun. i find strange that you say forging/crafting systems are lazy considering they require the player to do several things in order to gain the desired weapon/item but for what i read you think breaking a wall and walking in to pick up your AoS claihm Solais and win the game is not lazy? im confused. as you say you rather just find the thing and use it right away honestly i prefer to work for it and i fail to understand how working for something you want reduces the sense of reward. also whats the problem with NPCs assisting you with it? all they do is make the item because your character does not poses the ability or the knowledge to do it and thats it. you are not borrowing the weapon from them and in the end you will be the one using it until you replace it with something better or something you like more. Farming should not be exclusive to MMOs it disgust me to even think that. i have played countless RPGs and JRPGS that are single player with lots of heavy farming even SOTN had farming involved and i share my opinion: if bloodstained has a forging system expect farming, if not a lot at least expect to spend a couple hours doing it and to make it "worse" i still bet that bag with 100000G saying the strongest non backer weapons will be forging exclusive.

my thoughts c: 1) Forging will have a "recipe" list, where you can only try what's on that list (obtaining new recipes in the game) or will be a trial-and-error game, losing material when fails? its an igavania so i will discard trial and error leave that for greedy MMOs Selling "safety" items for real life currency aka microtransactions. Unless they add safety or guaranted succes methods as an in game item or mechanic such as a shard or a special material then i wouldnt mind if we have Trial.
2) How do you think forging will work? Adding up materials and waiting for the magic to happen? Some kind of complex system revolving around things like weight, balance, maybe a mini game, or something else? since its alchemy i think some kind of minigame would be cool but i think its pretty much get item A+B+C and mix them together to get item D
3) We will be able to level up gear by reforging them with stronger / better materials? We did tis in dawn of sorrow didnt we? get that johannes to upgrade your weapons with new materials/shards
4) It was confirmed that Bloodstained will have two types of weapons, the common weapons and a special category called "Backer weapons" (temporary name) that are weapons that can be leveled up to be the most powerful weapons in the game. Do you think we will be able to forge just common weapons, backer weapons or both? irc didnt someone mention that backer weapons would only be available trough cheat codes? or an NPC? i dont think we will be able to manipulate upgradable backer weapons like the standar weapons in the game.
5) Would you like if forging had some kind of one-of-a-kind materials? Things that you can only obtain once and you will be only able to get it again in a new game+? YES and NO. Going back to my references in Dawn of Sorrow i wanted to collect every single soul on my first run because i knew chaos ring existed and to my surprise some weapons required boss souls in order to be crafted and that was kind of enfuriating. but then again i ended playing NG+2 and with Bloodstained i think it will be NG+10 specially if we can NG with higher difficulty like in OOE. 6) Do you believe that shards will be used on forging somehow? if yes, how? err honestly i dont think so... i think the point of farming shards is to increase Miriam's arsenal and strenghten said arsenal of spells and thats it. Forging on the other hand should be limited to materials but thats what i think and honestly i dont mind if we need shards too.
7) Gear o Bloodstained: Forging-heavy (the majority of equipment will be obtained by forging), picking up heavy (the majority will be obtained at breakable walls, chests, secret rooms), or balanced? as in the amount of items you can find i think it should be balanced but i bet you 100000G the strongest non backer weapons in the game will be obtained trough forging with some stupidly rare and valauble materials.8) Miriam will forge equipment herself anywhere (kickstarter says she will use her knowledge in alchemy for it), she will need a special room for it (maybe her own room (there is a talk that Miriam will have a room inside the castle) or some other place) or someone else will do the forging for her? Who? Where? i believe Johanes will assist Miriam with that matter and ofc that would be in a special room with tools and vials and weird things, videogame or not i dont expect miriam to pull out an alchemy laboratory out of her pants, i mean thats reserved for the hundreds of weapons and potions she carries.
9) Only weapons was advertised for forging. Do you believe we will be able to forge overall gear? And potions will be craftable too? Alchemy without Potion brewing? i can live if armors and accesories are out of the list but if potions are not craftable i swear i will be dissapointed and mad.
10) About crafting, Kickstarter talks about using "magi-crystals" for it. Magi-crystal is the name of the crystals engulfed on the body of Miriam and Gebel, of their curse. Magi-crystals will be used for forging. Do you believe they will give special effects to the gear (like a fire magi-crystal giving fire protection for an armor and fire elemental attacks for a weapon) or something else? what BloodyTears92 said: if this is how its going to work i will absolutely love it. in curse of darkness we had A restrincted and boring linear system for crafting but i prefer the one with diferent options much like the innocent devil evolution tree. that ladies and gentlemen its the TRUE FORMULA FOR CRAFTING MECHANICS~

honestly i dont expect someone to pop up and say hey guys i couldnt care less about random players il run co-op the way i want and the way i like its solo so if you cant catch dont worry you still get the loot. but harmony despair had this serious problem and the game had a messed up difficulty curve with the game becoming easier and faster the more you progressed instead of becoming harder and challenging. first chapters were like: oh look shanoa, charlotte, jonathan and soma lets do this guys lets take as many treasure chests as we can and lets meet at the boss gate for some co-op boss ass kicking. then later... soma/alucard/soma/soma/random julius/shanoa VALMANWAYYYYYYYYYYYYY just ignore everysingle chest and go straight for the boss route yay so much fun.... :/ even as a completionist this killed the game for me. 3 minutes later boss is dead and you did absolutely NOTHING! when i got the last DLC i couldnt even enjoy the last stage because as a Charlotte/Shanoa main i couldnt hope to catch up with the overpowered soma rushers every single time! as a long time MMORPG player if im playing with someone i always try to be together no matter what, i understand the meaning of co-op and honestly i cant imagine bloodstained co-op mode because... well.. i just cant. btw if you can add the option "lets stick together no matter i wait for you if i have to" i vote that one because i cant identify myself with the other options

never in my life i have finished a game in 1 run with 100% of everything, honestly i dont even think its posible at least not for a RPG unless you use guides or get help from others and never in my life i played an igavania game less than 3+ times trying to get everything. a game without replay value its a game that i will not enjoy. when i said critical items i wasnt talking about plot or game progress, i was talking about how for a completionist things like this are critical and its super enfuriating to have to make use of a guide to find what you are missing. 2 rooms + 1 unique item <--- those are critical and yes im exagerating but i cant say i finished the game 100% and found every single item and room in them if dont get that item and those 2 rooms right :c? honestly i cant see the wolf/bat thing as a clever thing its mindblowing yes, its ultra secret, its actually quite original but not clever its more random than anything else, im not attacking SOTN im arguing about cryptic secrets in general but i had to bring that one because lets be honest.. its extremely hard to find and this is an igavania forum. i have played games with super silly secrets and one of them was the reference of the monster+ring+room. now look at the clock tower and the gears to open the door to the starflail now thats a clever thing even though its not to hard to figure it out. in HoDissonance we had some really hidden secrets but the game gave you hint cards so that you could try to find those secrets on your own. i could have played SOTN 20+ Times and i might never have been able to find the the wolf/bat thing but then again i could have completed the game normally thinking i missed nothing. and if im mistaken then let me ask you a question: did you find the way to open that wall by yourself? its hard and im sure someone somewhere actually did it while trying random things but i can tell you for sure 99% of the players that know about it had help from a guide or the almighty internet. now that i think about this could have had its own thread.
indeed i agree with you there Pure Miriam it was not really cryptic hard but thats why i said this could be a problem for new players that never played the game before and i did not tell him how to find the villager in fact by the time he told me this he had already found the villager by looking at the background i think it was an ice cavern if im not mistaken. as for the holy glasses well yeah thats considerably harder to figure out and its actually a long process. get bat echo --> get spike breaker --> find maria and get ring --> find succubus room and get ring B --> read the item description of the rings --> go to the clock and equip the rings --> open the pathway and find/fight Maria to get the holy glasses --> equip them and fight richter --> kill evil orb . thats a lot of steps. and i must agree this compared to OoE: break wall and save villager --> finish. process its dumb
