i have a semi reproducible one while in the 5 cannon room, left entrance fire off a bat swarm toward the cannons, if you go too far right you may get the sound effect of the bats hitting something roughly around the area the mortes spawn and then the crash occurs

if you could add translation errors to the title itd be easier to find this thread, but slashing bashing and maybe piercing? resistances are left untranslated as zan and dag

im all for giving battle grunts a separate audio slider so you can turn them to your liking without affecting the cutscene voices

i think thats awesome, maybe wouldnt make sense for tentacle but the arrows getting status effect is a neat side effect
however, if the daggers had a special where you could throw them, i think this would be stepping on their toes

the game will have warp points, check the discord if you want spoils on where one is, its not accessible in the demo though
pay real close attention to that red room, i think something will happen there when the games done
i love the poses, miriam becomes the ultimate life form with the mask

i fail to see why faster farming is a bad thing, though i can see it interfering with speedruns that rely on specific drops for ACT, rng manip or quick menuing

I would be very surprised if this game doesn't end up with a Doppleganger shard.
I do not think this should be tied to shards. It's too essential.
doppelganger shard would be a white shard which took the place of relics when iga moved to the soul system, theyre either always on or you go into a menu to turn them off, i believe you even see one when they did the internal demo with the doublejump. found it

mana said somewhere the procedural generation will be baked into the final renders, so not having them in the demo doesnt mean theyre gone, just that they have it turned off until they have everything in place and do the final passes
was the procedural ever mentioned as having been dropped, i dont remember seeing anything on that

im hoping they can add a special for those weapons that dont have them, like being able to toss a dagger, or use your finite ammo through a special (normal attack becoming your infinite ammo), give 2hands a horizontal swing that does more damage but leaves miriam wide open on the recovery, spears could have a spin move similar to those spear knights in sotn, whip could pull a classicvania crack for higher damage in exchange for a much smaller hitbox, rapiers could pull off a flurry of stabs, and then you go from that base and make the special weapons build on that, i love what they have so far and i hope theyre inspired to turn this into something super special

i wish there was a breakable ceiling, im so curious what abilities we can use to open walls and if this can thatd be one more way to check above and below really quickly

maybe, but remember if we get new abilities they may take up some of the currently unused buttons, i currently have b as backdash and most of my shoulder buttons are unused (have directional shard mapped to r stick)

Yeah totally fine with a toggle as I said maybe there's a specific reason for them but for immersion sake I would love to be able to turn it off because those areas could look even more pretty without having Miriam's shadow ruining it.
Also I'd like to mention I'm loving all the weapon variety but I've noticed a lack of unique sound effects for them. Like for instance the Gram visually looks really cool ( big arse red sword ) but it sounds like any other heavy sword. I'm sure there will be weapons with unique sounds but it'd be cool if more of the unique looking weapons had a tonal change in some way.
perhaps have an option to change the opacity similar to how you can with the minimap? this would allow someone who needs it to have it turned up and someone who doesnt to have it turned all the way down and everything inbetween

im loving it, the return of the special commands, the responsiveness of the controls, the little puzzles and things to discover scattered about, IGA and team have a truly entertaining game in the works, and i nearly lost it when id do things like id find a certain item and make a comment that id never posed so hard before, and like an hour later find out you can actually pose that hard by accident, it set off this entire quest to find out if posing in certain rooms with certain equipment would cause an even more obscure easter egg to trigger, sadly no luck yet...
as for the animations and lighting, im looking forward to what yall can show going forward with some polish and mood lighting/accents as well as seeing these areas in tandem with others so we can see the uniqueness each stage brings to the whole
couple suggestions, if theres 2 buttons free in the control scheme (kb/m this could especially be doable) perhaps add in a way to set and quickly open a specific menu in the options (ie completionists like me may do archive and bestiary, progression this can be equipment and shard, or a mix, having a doppelganger-like ability may render this request moot), this could alternatively be mapped to the trigger buttons while map is open
since ammo is limited perhaps give guns a special move that uses your ammo and the normal attack uses the infinite ammo, mp cost could be set to 1 or 0 since you already have a limit in the ammo itself
an opacity slider for miriams foreground overlay
seperating battle grunts from cutscene dialogue in audio options so you can turn miriams ingame voice down a tad but still have cutscenes playing at full volume, also the pregame hayter intro is a little low in volume compared to the music
the ability to hold the attack button down with dagger weapons in a guard position similar to sotn, it gave them a neat little bonus ability for farming weak enemies that came at you constantly (cough medusa shield drop rate cough)

its easily reproducible by attacking while youre turning, i think it has to do with the whip trying to make a 2d attack in a 3d space and not being on the floor
(Moved from the thread i made before seeing this)
id classify this as more an interesting glitch than breaking, but if you whip while turning the whip will clip through the floor and can even hit stuff below you, reproducible easily in the room with lindsay where the lanters below you can be targeted using this method

not amateurish, stuff like this can happen at any stage of development in every game, and different game designs/engines need different ways to fix this, from moving the spawn point to doing a scan for closest available platform, the fact that were catching these things in the beta is great because it means they have time to find solutions for the final game
so dont be discouraged, the betas doing its job
