And to whoever said they are sticking with windows 7, why wouldnt you upgrade to 8? all it does is optimize things especially gaming. Don't liek the metro screen, just install Classic Start, done. Several reasons: - As far as I remember back when Windows 8 came out it had issues with much of the previously software not working properly. I suppose this kind of problems were ironed out by now but a bad first impression leaves a mark - Second reason would be ideological: W8 metro interface was a hot mess of mobile tiles/touch control shoehorned into hardware that is primarly non-mobile and mouse operated. Installing W8 would be - even if at barest, minimal level - like saying to M$ that this shit is okay. It's not okay. - And no, "install Classic Start, done" is not a solution to metro, at least not a complete one. Because even if I did that I'd be still deprieved of one feature of W7 I learned to appreciate over time: Aero interface. Yeah it might look like another minor gimmick at first but I found ability to quickly check on minimized/out-of-focus apps or to take a peek at my desktop (and any gadgets/rainmeter apps on it) by moving mouse to corner of my screen rather than by minimizing and re-opening all open windows surprisingly convenient. - And discounting the above rather personal reasons there is one other: Not being one of the three people out there that like Metro interface I don't really have a reason to move up to W8. I don't recall there being any features that W8 has and W7 doesn't that I'd want (was there even any major difference other than Aero vs Metro and gadgets vs apps? Can't remember). I don't recall ever hearing about software that'd work on W8 but not W7. And neither did I hear about anything that'd work better on W8 than on W7. So no point in upgrading. PS. If the above post seems incoherent and my train of thought hard to follow that's because I haven't slept a wink tonight and I can't into words

I actually got DMC4SE when it came out, though between Bloodborne and Witcher 3 I only played it once for a short time. I'll get to it in due time, but it kind of bugs me I'll be stuck for half game with Nero and his boring one weapon one gun setup. Not to thrilled about using proud souls for buying skills either, looks like red orbs will become completely pointless after I get all the health/DT upgrades :/

I am glad I decided to stick with Windows 7 for as long as possible. It seems it'll remain the best Windows OS for a looong time still.

I know it's not the big blockbuster game but is anyone excited about N++ for PS4? I loved making rooms for my friends to beat (though they would hate me for doing that lol) but it is simple and fun. I remember spending some time with the original flash version. Might look into this version depending on how much it costs.

Congrats on finishing Bloodborne! Did you do any of the chalice dungeons? Did up to depth... 3 I think of Pthumeru chalice before deciding they were quite boring. And one Hintertomb but that turned out pointless. I intend to power through the ones that are necessary to get that one achievement when I get around grabbing the last few remaining ones for a platinum trophy, but that's going to be a while away. Bloodborne is great but after 46.5 hours of playing almost nothing else I just need some rest from it. *Especially* considering how intense Gherman fight was

Finished Bloodborne last weekend (good times, good times). Been pushing Pillars of Eternity since then, was planning to try to finish it over the weekend. Then my monthly bonus came three days earlier than expected and uh... let's pretend I blacked out, half of it evaporated in mysterious circumstances and Witcher 3 appeared from nowhere. Yeah, let's stick with that.
...this might make finishing PoE hard >_>

So we have been passed. I know I should be happy for Shenmue fans but instead... this is me right now:

Cats are a constant in our family: ...and when one goes (the black one died years ago) they tend to get replaced immediatly: Of course that wasn't trouble enough so recently my father decided to add a dog to the mix.

Ah this. Well kind of into this. In fact Touhou remixes of various sorts are some 90% of what I listen to these days. Like these for example:
...I think I need to stop now.

"Snow Rain" from Nanoha As (the original TV version). Alas it seems that every version of it on youtube that wasn't a cover or from movie was taken down so no links for me to post :/

How is FE: Awakening btw? Been thinking of trying it out. The only FE game I finished was Sacred Stones and the 1st game's remake for the SNES. It's great. A bit easy to break the difficulty with the pair-up system but still great. Have almost 90 hours put into it and there are still some DLC battles waiting for me if I feel like picking it up again some day (bring on FE: Fates Nintendo!). kdfukuyama (Want to buy Witcher 3 myself but for now waiting to see if some patches fix the slowdowns PS4 version supposedly has)

Something I saw linked elsewhere on the internet - an ebook bundle focused on video game related books/magazines: storybundle.com/gamesNow why am I bringing it up here? Because of this Castlevania related ebook sounds like it might be something relevant to Army of the Night interests. At least I think it might, have no personal experience with HardcoreGaming 101 books.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a return of wall-jumping from Circle of the Moon. It felt oddly satisfying for some reason.

Nearing end of my first run of Bloodborne. Gearing up to finally get back into Pillars of Eternity afterwards since I let it lie dormant for far too long.
