There's something about this map that has the same curious appeal as the portrait in Dorian Gray

Greetings Angel-Corlux ... your name comes across like a beauty soap that the Goddess Aphrodite would use. Surely you mean this: As Enkeria suggested, perhaps it could become an item in Bloodstained. Corlux could be altered to mean "Phwoar looks" and maybe the soap gives Miriam's crystals extra shine. Or maybe the soap generates large volumes of divine foam that has an adverse effect on enemies and smothers them

What a delightful mix of quirky questions! Here are my answers...
1) Plot light. I like to knuckle down to the action and just get on with the adventure. Prolonged cut scenes can be rather yawn-inducing.
2) I do like seeing females dressed in alluring outfits and kicking butt. Kinda adds a touch of spice to the combat. So yep ... I'm game!
3) Absolutely! Maybe a magical key that opens up a portal thus allowing Miriam to fly the Bloodstained sky where a new batch of enemies await her for some aerial combat.
4) Perhaps a devastating long-range flying lick that ends with a Catherine wheel spin-back that returns her to the point where the kick initiated?
5) Huge areas. They allow for a greater freedom of movement.
6) I love skeletons because they're like crisps ... difficult to ignore and have an irresistible crunch. Morte has great potential to become gooey, troublesome enemies if used in huge numbers.
7) Same timeline but extending to other locations.
8) Yes, I'd still support IGA ... his history speaks for itself.
9) If Bloodstained is a roaring success, then there'd be no need for Kickstarter surely?
10) I haven't the foggiest.
11) Erm ... maybe Miriam's and Gebel's souls switch bodies after some supernatural thing goes wrong?
12) I've never really been keen on playing boss characters because moves might be limited in comparison to Miriams. Hope I'm proved wrong.
13) Probably Johannes.
14) An equal mix of weapons and magic. One of the reasons why I loved playing Soma.
15) I'm not too fussed. Both.
16) I adore flying and so some form of wings would hit the spot.
17) No brainer here ... Dominique! Her long, high-kicking legs and magic would go down a treat with me.
18) Dominique's breasts look the biggest ... bet she could hang cups on her nipples! However, Miriam's crystallizing boobs worry me!

Not in order...
The Beginning - DoS - Sounds dramatic and sets the mood for a cracking adventure. Energy levels rise!
Condemned Tower - DoS - Best of the tower tunes in my opinion. It led to one of the memorable boss fights in Castlevania.
Cursed Clock Tower - DoS - Makes me feel as though I want to be in the divine company of a posse of beautiful oriental ladies to pamper me and feed me grapes.
Dance Of Sadness - PoR - For some reason, I always think of a femme fatale suddenly taking pity on her male target as she's about to kill him.
The Pinnacle - DoS - Possibly my favourite track. Seems to bring out the inner fire and inspire the will to conquer.
Castle Entrance - SotN - This instrumental brings out a broad streak of heroism from within. Charges the soul.
Castlevania N64 Intro (Malus violin) - Not an Igavania. Even though a bit on the short side, I'd want this played at my funeral. Beautiful, haunting and poignant.
Gaze Up At The Darkness - PoR - Whenever I hear this, I tend to imagine Spiderman rapidly swinging through the streets on his web and reaching dizzy heights.
Door Of Holy Spirits - SotN - This tune cranks up the tension and leaves the impression that something potentially nasty is lurking around every corner.
Lost Painting - SotN - Listening to this magical tune does wonders for the mindset. The type of music that could soothe a breaking heart.

Skeletons have been associated with castles throughout history and deserve their place in games like Bloodstained/Castlevania. To be honest, every time I've began a Castlevania game, I always expected to encounter skeletons within the first few minutes and do enjoy smashing their bones all over the place as a 'starter'. However, skeletons are, arguably, the most exposed monsters in the Castlevania bestiary.
Zombies do next to nothing for me. I find them boring and I tend to just jump over them rather than kill them.
As for Morte, they're certainly better than zombies and on a par with skeletons but may have a bit more potential. The Morte creatures strike me as being much better in bigger numbers and I can envisage them like the following...
The Morte Lake - A large congregation of Morte forming a slimy lake that looks like bubbling black jam. Now, imagine the creatures acting like the larvae of Blister beetles ... in that they crawl and squirm on top of each other in order to form an extension and reach out for their target. The victim gets pulled into the lake and gets absorbed.
Granfalloon Morte - Similar to the boss from SotN but with countless Morte taking the place of naked bodies. This could be one very sticky encounter.
Chains of Morte - Attached or linked to each other and hanging like stalactite from castle ceilings to grab prey and reel them in.

It's hard to imagine a creepy castle without skeletons. I like to think that they'll exist in Bloodstained ... even if they make rare appearances like crashing from out of old closets.
Regarding Medusas, what about a 'Medusa Une'? The large flower head could resemble that of the famous gorgon (the long petals mimicking snakes with the disk flowers forming some kind of hideous face). Such a huge plant could possess similar petrifying powers through seed dispersion.

Just out of curiosity, how would you guys compare Bloodstained (at this current stage) to Castlevania: Mirror of Fate in terms of animation and graphics?

I voted for 'Overall low'.
This is because it has a "Treat them mean, keep them keen" appeal to me and seems more rewarding when you do get a shard. I feel that if one obtains all the shards too soon, then it may make the thrill of the hunt a touch stale.
On the contrary, I understand how frustrating it can be when you're denied something that takes an eternity to drop. I remember swatting the Kyoma Demon countless times in Aria of Sorrow to the point where, every time I walked past the mirror to make a hit, I had visions of Robert De Niro saying "You talkin' to me?".

I voted for 'Random'.
Perhaps the severity of the scream matches the rarity or intensity of the shard depending on how difficult/powerful the enemy is?

Negative comments can be contagious and spread paranoia. And I very strongly disagree with this so long as those comments are made respectfully. Disagreeing with negative commentary is fine. Correcting incorrect comments is fine. Telling people that they shouldn't make criticism? No. I'm not okay with that. That's how you get an echo chamber. Telling people that they have no reason to be disappointed in the current state of the game isn't helpful in the least. It's actually somewhat dismissive and insulting. Better just to post your own positive criticism rather than try to demean those who don't share it. I stated that negative comments can be contagious and spread paranoia. I wasn't saying that it does. Some of the negative comments on Youtube are cynical and somewhat fatalistic and goes against the grain of the moral majority who have high aspirations for Bloodstained. I'm sticking to my belief that folk have no reason to be disappointed with the current progress of the game. I see it as positive and encouraging considering its limited budget and the fact that Mr Igarashi wants to make it as good as SotN or even better. I have strong faith in Iga ... have you?

Absolutely @pure Miriam. Negative comments can be contagious and spread paranoia.
No reason to be disappointed really. It was only around 3 weeks ago that we found out that Iga mentioned that the game is 20 - 30% complete. There's still a lot of work to do, tweaks to be made and constant revision throughout the methodology. Look at it this way, I see it as a gemstone that's still in the process of being 'cut 'n' polished'.

While I agree that death for stealing seems a bit extreme, I wouldn't totally rule it out. Maybe it'd depend on what you steal or if one becomes a constant thief/creature of habit.
Stealing could open up a whole new ball game or can of worms so to speak. It could even have a butterfly effect on how the game pans out.

A serpent. I love snakes and I think the concept of transforming into one has a multitude of advantages.
Preferably, the snake I have in mind would be a supernatural fusion between five types...
Anaconda - For its sheer crushing strength.
Black Mamba - The athleticism and slithering speed.
Death Adder - Apparently has a blindingly fast strike.
Rattlesnake - Love the threatening noise a rattle makes.
Spitting Cobra - Spraying disgusting venom at a distance is kinda cool eh?
Of course, having the crystal curse could mean that the powers of this snake may be improved or upgraded.

Not trying to encourage or promote alcoholism in any way but I think mysterious bottles of wine could be dotted around the castle (on tables, ledges, etc). These would have various side-effects once drank ... obviously! Some could be hugely beneficial, others highly hallucinogenic, maybe a couple that are lethal or could be used as weapons. Perhaps a rare vintage wine with the Iga label lies somewhere within the castle with untold, desirable effects. Why wine? The Dracula reference or? I mean, we had peanuts in SOTN, which was kind of fun. And shiitake mushrooms. It would be cool to see a lot of different things you could eat and drink to gain health. Based on this picture really... Instead though, she throws the bottle down after she's taken a swig. Imagine the immediate effect of the wine ... it goes to her head and she suddenly develops an ability (for a limited time) to contact/communicate with a ghost that reveals a secret for one example. I think a selection of special wines have a potential place in Bloodstained to make an impact on Miriam where other drinks might fail.
