VII was food for what it was. So I am excited for this even though it is artistically different than. Sakaguchi-san's version was. Courtesy or Nomura-san and his Kingdom Hearts style. But the combat reminds me of Crisis Core only without that slot machine mechanic.
Due to the Before Crisis not coming stateside or Crisis Cord not being expanded to PSN. I could imagine those, at least Crisis Core being imemented as a chapter in the VII world to come. Though that plus VII as is, plus Dirge of Cerberus, it'll be interesting what is added and what is ommited.

I grew up with Zelda and Adventure of Link. As a young player, I didn't really get too far in them. But I didn't get into Zelda deeply until Ocarina of Time that is when I began actively following the series.
Some things I foresaw differently than. What came along in the release, like Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword (which would have been better with non nunchuck support).

A character should toss a wine glass. And it should bounce harmlessly away without breaking "that usually works" Bonus points if it's IGA's in game character doing it. That is a nice idea. Mixing iconic even with iconic fellow. With a little comic flair. +1.

Adam could have been a cleaver addition. With more or less open slate for abilities he could be designed fairly decently. With his quotes for his taunts.
I mean a freeze gun could be over powered but would put an extra threat in battle.

I think fans kind of understand Iga-san's bitterness towards Konami. And loyal Iga-san fans have continued to follow him after learning he was departing ways with Konami.
Now recently, with Kojima-san, it was remeniscient but still different enough to effect this Kickstarter a bit. Not a great bit due to timing. But with Iga-san's bitterness showing in his pitch video he made, it was clear it was in spite of Konami. Which I feel increased the backlash on Kojima-san's behalf more than the reverse.
But that is just me.

Makes is easier for YouTube videos and such, not that I'm one for that.
Also offers an alternative to artistic touch. Whether it is necessary or not, it is an option to allow folks to choose how they experience the atmosphere.
Similar to 'turning blood off' and such. I doubt there will be anything but subtle nudity if anything so it may not be a necessary suggestion anyway. I mean I'd they choose it, they just use the crystalization to cover up anything 'suggestive' for artwork in stained glass or characters.

They cannot afford AAA games with all the non fraud money going to lawyers to bar Kojima form anything Metal Gear.

I have no problem with nudity. Iga isn't going to go all out and grotesque. And if it isn't a shared option, then there should be a game option to filter it or swap the texture. Everyone gets their way.

Speaking about realistic characters but changing the topic slightly, I think two characters in particular should have been part of the roster. Both from Mario RPG: Geno and Mallow. Jinx could fit as an annoying little fighter extra. Bur both are quite unrealistic but would have been perfect for the Smash Universe. With their specials and weapons being Smash abilities.

I want a general SquareSoft (you read that right) collection. They were awesome back in the day, with plenty never leaving Japan. Bahamut Lagoon, Blood of Bahamut, Seiken Densetsu series, etc. They had plenty of gems that would shine bright if put together for the modern market. Especially with all the rpgs hitting the DS and Vita.
But for specifics, Legacy of Kain. Fantastic series. Great story. Needs a collection, reboot or sequel. Either would be awesome.

For me, it has been downhill ever since Melee. Melee was just fantastic. Brawl was good in it's own right, though I hated my character tripping or as I call it 'taking a sit break'.
This new one feels better than Brawl, but still feels lacking. I Didn't get into amiibo so the characters is all I play the game for. With some faves being axed, Star Wolf for example, so I'm hoping the next few characters are worthwhile. I doubt the ones I voted for will show up, but still hope they tickle my fancy.

I'm on the fence with Cloud. Sure it is cool to have that kind of representation. But there is no real reason that he should have been the FF character of choice when FF7 won't be on a Nintendo console till the remake hits the NX and others.
I dunno, but I feel there are other FF characters a little more deserving of that spotlight.

I am not surprised they are going down this road. It certainly seems alienating for specific fanbases of specific franchises since it might mean less used for extended localization.
I myself have juggled being a Konami fan. Being in the U.S. I just don't have a taste for pachinko machines. Outside of the more or less recent works of MGS or Lords of Shadow, I haven't been a consistent fan. So with this move, I assume I'll just plan to get some of the fill I got from Konami from somewhere else... Iga is a starting point. Hoping Kojima does something similar.

What Miriam found a grounded mirror aimed towards the sky? From the angle it would seem like she is falling into the 'sky'. So how about it be a special 'sky basement'? Map it in the sky, access it like going downwards.
Would make for great potential dlc.

It definitely depends on the game. For Castlevania 2d is idea. I dunno but the engines that handle 2d and 3d. 2d just feels better.
Be it nostalgia or a deep seeded lust for a good 2d style game but I'll always research a 2d game that is new first before showing interest in a 3d. Unless it comes to something already established.

I confess, that I did not get into the traditional Castlevania games. I came along during the SotN era and have stuck with that style since.
Of course, I lust for a Castlevania collection. I want to play Bloodlines and Maria in Nocturn of the Moonlight (SotN). Since I like badass melee women.

What about some loose garments based on the Belmont heroes? Either in background, foreground or obtainable for the playable characters? They cannot be exact but it could inspire additional costumes.
Or have that secret boss be Dracula. If it is not the same then that could work.
Or have lore clues to bios of Castlevania bosses. Like Legion/Baloon, Galamoth, etc. Like the world knows about them, but the characters don't directly see them.
