Iggy, just think of the words of Jake the Dog from Adventure time: "Sucking at something is the first step towards being sorta good at something!" I used to be absolutely terrible at the Binding of Isaac, but I put the time and practice in and now look! I have all the achievements! I'm sure you''ll get just as good at Castlevania: HoD.

No I have not...but man that looks AWESOME! Sweet stair-climbing action! I'm familiar with the game since you play the final boss fight in Symphony of the Night, but I've never played the full title. Looks like now would be as good a time as any!

I'm actually playing the only Castlevania game for the gameboy advanced that I never played as a younger man: Harmony of Dissonance. It's a fun little romp even if the only weapon is the whip. Ever since Bloodstained reached the Roguelike dungeon funding goal, I've been playing Binding of Isaac non-stop to hone my skills. I've already reached every single achievement on one saved game file! Then of course I'm replaying Symphony of the Night on my good ol' Xbox 360. I'm on a retro-gaming tear at the moment! XD

We all know that the fans have spoken when it comes to Miriam's familiar--the 'cool' knight. I want to pose the question to everyone on their opinion of how likely it is we'll see 'knight' demons in the game? Zepar--one of the demons from the Lesser Key--is depicted as a solider wearing armor....could he perhaps provide a rival for Miriam's initial familiar?

Since this is an IGA game I expect that we may encounter an enemy who torments or pursues Miriam earlier on in the castle a la Death from the Castlevania series. Perhaps Legion or an alchemical monster composed of many, many squishy pieces will also make an appearance. Personally I always loved fighting bosses with multiple parts you must dismantle in order to attack their core and administer the deathblow! Perhaps even Gebel in his madness will influence Johannes with an implanted crystal and force Miriam to confront her companion!

Clearly the pure costume will have Miriam sporting the classic Japanese Shima Pantsu! Blue and white stripes! Hahahaha! I mean they already worked in zettai ryoiki in her costume design....as far as fictional characters go Miriam is a cutie.

Oh absolutely, even combat confrontations can be solved without stats involved and without any rolling, as long as both parties agree on the outcome. That said, I look forward to playing with someone expressing that sort of mentality. I appreciate your vote of confidence there, Chuckles! I'm looking forward to this kind of setting as well. I've done Call of Cthulhu 1920's before and I've done D&D as well...this is kind of a slick fusion between the both. .

I'm definitely interesting in RPing, even if I'm definitely more of a casual Rper. I'm also interesting in seeing how stats will work once the system is finally laid out. I'm not a big fan of combat in terms of an RP forum, having seen it at it's worst...but I don't think it will be a huge issue especially if I end up playing a character that's a lover not a fighter, hahaha! Maybe an explorer who's drawn to the castle because it's there...like climbing K2 or Everest.

Ah, my apologies Dragon. I had no idea they were incorrect, as my knowledge of the Lesser Key is passing at best. I had no intention of disseminating false information. However as far as my hopeful hypothesis goes I would also love to see demons as their own characters, not just familiars. Being generally cunning spirits all, Demons might even be willing to establish themselves as vendors of weapons and items., in return for those components that were mentioned in the crafting system.

I would enjoy that highly! As a die-hard fan of Aria of Sorrow for the Gameboy Advanced I loved being able to summon those "Support" demons to repeatedly pummel my foes.

It may be entirely possible that not all of these demons will be enemies. Zagan from the Ars Goetia apparently has the power to "make men witty; he can also turn wine into water, water into wine, and blood into wine (according to Pseudomonarchia Daemonum blood into oil, oil into blood, and a fool into a wise man). Other of his powers is that of turning metals into coins that are made with that metal (i.e., gold into a gold coin, copper into a copper coin, etc.)." I personally would like to see more unique characterizations of these demons than simple villains and monsters for you to vanquish. Here is a A list of 90 Demonic sigils in which you can see that not all are exemplified by their evil nature.

I'll do my best to keep my eyes peeled. I'm sure the twittersphere is going mad at the moment with adulation. Hopefully INTI and the developers aren't too hush-hush once they really get the ball rolling with R&D.

You hear that sound? The sound of wheels on tracks? The HYPE TRAIN is just getting started! It's moving full steam ahead! I'm sure we're all excited for any morsel...the barest scrap of information that is released concerning Bloodstained.

Hello everyone! I go by Wiggy on most online forums and that's the handle I will recognize most easily here. I'm looking forward to being part of this vibrant community and sharing our mutual interest in Bloodstained. Having been a long time fan of both Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow, as well as Binding of Isaac I'm overjoyed that we all worked together to meet the stretch goals!
