I bought the game and have had lots of fun with it, but I was disappointed that there wasn't a story mode to it.
Also, I was SUPER disappointed that Nintendo failed to negotiate Simon Belmont into the game...

I tried to be as polite as I could whilst simultaneously expressing my displeasure for their cancellation of P.T. and the folly of their movement towards mobile games.

To be understood that this top 5 only reflects my current disposition on the matter and can, at any time, change to reflect my future states of being, my list is as follows:
1. The Dark Crystal 2. There Will Be Blood 3. Mary and Max 4. Gummo 5. Only Lovers Left Alive

I've played a couple, but I haven't been able to play as many as most others. The ones I've played that are pure Visual Novels are Katawa Shoujo and Yume Miru Kusuri. Yes, they're both eroges, but even so, the storytelling is great in them. Also, I suppose you can count Ace Attorney, Corpse Party, and Persona 3 Portable as being VNs as well. Also, my first thread that I started on this forum. Even though there are technically hentai elements to it (which can be removed), I was actually completely impressed with Katawa Shoujo; it actually was a well thought-out and well written visual novel!

I woke up at 6:00am, got ready for work and arrived by 9:30am, worked until 6:00pm, bought some beer, didn't drink enough to get drunk, tried to find something for me and the lady to watch, we didn't like what we were watching so we started LotR again, but then she fell asleep. Now I'm just sitting here on my bed with the lady and my little havanese dog sleeping to the right of me...
I need to wake up at 6:00am again, but I feel completely unfulfilled like I wasted my entire day. I feel like if I don't accomplish something that it will be a waste...
I f*cking hate being a grown-up.

This is an *extremely* bad move on Konami's part. Fanart is essentially free publicity and free marketing for games (or pretty much any other creative endeavor, for that matter) as long as the artist isn't making money off of it. This is simply alienating Konami's fans for close to no gain for them in the long run. They'd better hope they make a lot of money off of that pachinko junk, otherwise I see bankruptcy in their future. From what I could tell from the survey I took, they are wanting to make ports for all of their old successful games for cellphones. I am so embarrassed that a company I loved so much for so many years could betray the fanbase in so many ways...

When in doubt, replay Order of Ecclesia! Actually been thinking of getting back into the game recently.
Never beat it, I recall losing interest around the time you fought Death. And my most vivid memory of the game is that fight with the colossal demon centaur, or... whatever that thing was. Well, that and the crab that you drop an elevator on.
The "colossal demon centaur" (a.k.a. Eligor) made me give up for a long while too, when I first played OoE. Keep with it; The ending is pretty gratifying.

I have very eclectic taste as far as fictional female crushes go; Winona Ryder as "Jo March" from Little Women, Keira Knightley as "Elizabeth Bennett" in Pride & Prejudice, and even Tilda Swinton as "Eve" in Only Lovers Left Alive. However, I'm going to go with a more obvious answer considering my general aesthetic... Roony Mara as "Elisabeth Salander" in David Fincher's version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo; she's strong, independent, intelligent, self-reliant, and kind of weird looking. The book version of her is even cooler: Unless this is specifically about video game characters or anime characters, in which case you're going to have to give me some extra time to think about that.

I tried to retain some semblance of enthusiasm about Konami after filling out their survey, but this is making it even harder than it already was after what they did to Kojima and IGA...

I'm no expert with math OR music, but music has a strong relationship to patterns. And math also has a relationship to patterns. I think the biggest relationship between music and math however is that its written notation was kind of deliberately made to be semi-mathimatical, simply because that's something virtually everyone has some familiarity with. I think this makes alot more sense in my head than what I wrote. I mean I think people intentionally make music's written notation to be as math-like as possible. For any relationship music itself has to math, the written form magnifies it intentionally. To the point that anything non-math related could also seem to have some relation if you go out of yoru way to express it using something seemingly math-like. I'm pickin' up what you're layin' down.

When in doubt, replay Order of Ecclesia! Absolutely. I REALLY loved interacting with the villagers, playing with a female protagonist, the difficulty curve, and even being able to explore outside the castle. UGH, that game is good! I haven't really done the research, but was it critically successful? I sincerely can't imagine why it wouldn't be.

I have a really hard time getting into anime these days. Apart from Attack on Titan, I mainly have to do retro viewings of shows I used to watch back in the day in order to feel like I've gotten anything out of my time invested. But lately I've been REALLY into Devil is a Part Timer. Satan loses his powers and starts working for "MgRonald's"? Sign me up!

I've been having a hard time getting into new games lately. I bought myself a PS4, but I didn't really like many of the games I bought for it; Watchdogs was tedious, The Evil Within lost its fear factor after the first sequence of the game, and although everyone CHAMPIONS Dragon Age: Inquisition, I found the gameplay anything but immersive. That isn't to say that there aren't games that I love; Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor is AMAZING, but I mowed through the entire experience in less than three days in-between work and errands. Also, you wouldn't think an HD upgrade for The Last of Us would have made a big difference to how awesome the game already is, but you'd be wrong.
However, I have been doing quite a bit of retro gaming. I finally beat, full ending, Demon's Crest for the SNES and started the Breath of Fire games that I never beat as a kid. I also got Chrono Trigger for the DS and have been collecting all the endings (four more to go!). However, I am really itching to revisit Order of Ecclesia.
