gunlord500Well, i can see that. As i said before, i think i always trusted IGA. And although i understand this event is just to cater to a bigger audience, i still feel that showing the same build as 2017 E3 is a bit...boring. I mean, i'm sure everyone that is going to attend there saw that demo on the internet. But anyways, who i am to judge the dev team decision. I just hope that my feeling that the dev team is quite behind the schedule proves to be false.

This game is entirely too RIDICULOUS lol And that is it's best characteristic. I really hope it comes out on PC, so i can check it out! I mean, look at this gameplay? It's PURE ART. ART AT IT'S FINEST. You know, if you want to do something vastly different with your game series, i prefer you do something like that, than try to be serious and create a subpar product. Look at Castlevania Judgment. The game itself is not THAT BAD, but they did so many cringy stuff, like completely changing the character's looks, Maria with her small boobs issues, the absurdly over-the-top sexualization of all females, the cheesy Simon...If they simply decided to do something like THAT, everyone would see it's just a silly joke of a game and no one would be enraged by it. I mean, i surely hope no one is getting this SNK heroines seriously. It's a joke ecchi sexy game made to be eye-catching and funny. I'm always for that. If you don't want to be serious, go all the way lol

Normally, i always try to be a huge supporter of the game and such, but i don't know how much of a good move is that. I mean, people are overly skeptical about ANYTHING game-related coming from Kickstarter and after half an year, IGA is going to show the same demo again. I mean, "in IGA we trust", sure, but i don't think that's a very good move. They really should have a new playable content by now, to show up to the fans, specially considering the game is scheduled to be release in 2018.
They promised huge things for the next updates. The crafting system was a good thing, sure, but i don't really know... For the first time since the kickstarter ended, i'm starting to be a bit more skeptical. Not that i think the game isn't going to be out or is going to be a new Might Number 9, that's stupid. I'm sure the game is going to be out in 2018 and i'm sure it will be a great game. But showing the same E3 2017 demo again, after half an year...I'm starting to think the dev team are behind their planned schedule. Which is not the end of the world, by any means, since that's pretty normal for the industry. But it isn't a good thing either.

I'm sure high potions and high ethers doesn't taste to good...(someone said that on a thread and i like it) The last Bloodstained update (see it HERE) showed us how crafting works in the game and it is easy and efficient. You gather up to four different materials / itens / gears, and use them up to create new itens / gears. You can also quickly see some kind of list of materials and what itens and gear they would give. Bloodstained is not finished yet, but it is in the process of it, so, it's probably that suggestions are harder to be accepted now. Even so, i thought it could be fun if we suggest materials for crafting in the game. These are the materials and itens / gears craftable that was shown in the update: High Potion: Potion, Melted Skull, Tail, Giant Frog Eye. High Ether: Ether, Melted Skull, Bat Fangs, Egg. Lohengrin: Gram, Fire Stone, Steel. Schedar: Gram, Vepar Fangs, Steel. Lightning Bolt: Gram, Amethyst Fragment, Steel. Partisan: Spear, Amethyst Fragment, Steel. Thorn Whip: Whip, Moco Plant Leaf, bat Fangs. Armor Piercing: (?) Brigandine: (?) Considering all that, let's create materials for crafting. The format should be this: NAME OF THE MATERIAL: Description. Usage: In what itens / gear this material should be used to create them. You can made-up such itens and gears. From: Where this material comes from, in what enemy / enemies. You can use enemies already shown in the game or made up some. Rarity: how rare or unique do you think the material is ( Common, Moderate, Rare or Very Rare). Everything above, with the exception of the name of the material, is optional. THe rest can be added if you feel like adding it. You can suggest up to THREE materials (in order to not over pollute your thread and not take other's peoples ideas). I'm going to do the first ones, as an example.
BLACK GOO: A piece of black goo from a morte-like enemy. Usage: Black Potion (increases defense for 30 seconds), Morte Sword (Sword that can summon Mortes). From: Morte, Morte Cannon, Morte Bone and any morte-like enemy. Rarity: Moderate. DARK STEEL: a steel that became darkened, thanks to the contact with darkness itself. Usage: Kongo (A mythological Spear of Darkness), Whip of Darkness (A Whip with darkness element), Dark Ring (A ring that increases STR and decreases DEF). From: Dark Knight (A knight in a dark armor), Amy. Rarity: Rare. DEMONIC BONE: a bone taken from a demon. Usage: Beast Axe (An axe made of bones), Bone Armor (an armor made of bones, ultra defense against bone attacks). From: Morte Bone, Bone-like enemies. Rarity: Very Rare. That's all folks!

COLLECTIVE ITEMS
I'm always fond of having stuff to find, unlock and/or collect in games. The new fightning games are quite boring for me because they come with almost everything unlocked and you have few incentive to keep playing, so, that's a good thing. My suggestion goes along with yours. I think we can combine things. Miriam could have her own room (since it is said Gebel created the castle for her) and you could find furniture. ALONG this furniture, there would be other collectibles, such as paintings, as you said it, and, considering the game is on XVIII century, Phonograph cylinders (the earliest commercial form for recording music) to be played i a Phonograph that you would ALSO need to find and put inside Miriam's room.
ELITE ENCOUNTERS
I like this idea. I don't think it should be guaranteed drops, but with triple chances of happening (with anything that increases drop chances, such as luck or certain equipments, also having their bonuses trippled when calculated with that enemy). Everytime you enter in a room, each enemy has a chance of becoming an Elite enemy (but there is only one per room). MAP GUIDELINES
I think saves, teleports, shop and itens you didn't pick up (such as walking in a zone where you can see an armor on top of a plataform you can't reach yet) is enough. BOSS BATTLE WITH FLEXIBLE RATING AND XP
This is the only one i don't agree. I think boss XP should be whatever it will give, regardless of your performance at them.

My opinion:
A: You can by everything at the shop: Gear (weapons, armor, acessories), healing itens (potions and food) and materials for crafting. And you can sell anything at the shop. Obviously, you cannot sell key itens and stuff like that. But you can even sell one-of-a-kind itens and equipments. THe shop doesn't start with everything, of course, and it upgrades slowly as you progress in the game.
B: A Buyback option is nice if you sold something you didn't want to. As long as you are inside the village, you can go back and buyback what you sold by mistake. Get out of the village, and it is LOST FOREVER.
C: Mac & Cheese must be a crafting food item. BUT you can only craft it AFTER you find one in a wall.

EnkeriaThis is how i see dismantle / salvage. DISMANTLING OF AN ITEM YOU CAN CRAFT: You crafted "Rune Sword" by using Dwarf Rune, Steel, Dark Steel and Feather. When you dismantle it, you lose Rune Sword, and you get back all it's materials (Dwarf Rune, Steel, Dark Steel and Feather). DISMANTLING OF AN ITEM YOU CAN'T CRAFT: You have "Gram", a sword you got by a enemy drop. This sword cannot be crafted. When you dismantle it, you lose Gram and you get materials back (Steel, Cutting Blade, Wood and Blue Rock). Although you know the materials that can be used to craft this sword, you cannot craft it because it's rare / mystical / forged by ancient people / whatever.

I didn't quite catch what Enkeria was saying about losing a weapon if you craft it wrong, but if anyone has any other questions I'll do my best to get to them. Glad you all liked the update! I get it differently. What i understood from what he said, was about the [apparently] dismantle option. IF the game has the option to break down an equipment to gather it's materials, if the equipment itself would vanish. Like, you have a "Beast Sword" and you break it to get Steel and Fangs. The "Beast Sword" itself would vanish. I said that is what i expect, if such option exists. Enkeria thinks the piece should stay. That's what i understood from what he said, at least.

EnkeriaThat's what usually happens. You have a Jewel Sword. You dismantle it. You get four materials of what made it, and the sword disappears. It doesn't make sense to dismantle something, and that something still exists. If the Jewel Sword was made with a "Long Sword" as one of it's materials, you will have it back. But the Jewel Sword itself vanishes. If that means losing that unique piece of weapon that you can find only once... Well...it's your decision to do that. I know it sounds "not-very-good" but the whole idea of dismantling something is to make it vanish when you finish, and you receive it's parts in exchange.

(Sorry for the double post) Enkeria Red room on mapI believe saverooms are what they were before, nothing more, nothing less. The area where Johannes is looks like the village, so, the village probably has all the services. Johannes for crafting, Dominique/Anne for shopping, Saveroom to save, and maybe a teleport of some sort to get there faster. Cooking MamaI believe it is probably the same system, but they did it on a separate option to make a better organization. Johannes circleInside the church in Order of Ecclesia, you had a NPC and behind him, there was a weird, dark-looking Amphora of sort, that was never mentioned until late in the game and it was actually really really important. I wonder if that magical circle isn't the same. At first, you look at it, and it's nothing but a "alchemy thing" to make Johannes room more "alchemy-like"...until late in the game when it turns into some kind of plot point. Johannes craftingstation NPCAgree. Dominique and Zangetsu are most probably the other playable characters. No bulletsBullets will be crafted, they said that. I believe they will mostly have different elements and/or status effects. ShardsThat is also something i really wanna know how it will work out. BreakdownI don't think it will be like you said. The breakdown / dismantle thing is probably "lose your equipment in exchange for the materials that forms it." The big question(s)Those are the questions i also can't answer right now, only speculate.

1 Thorn Whip crafted? Thorn Whip x1 crafted? The newest Bloodstained update ( HERE) presented us with the game's crafting system. It looks simple and efficient. Gather material, forge that material, and you get new stuff. Considering what was revealed and our own expectations for it. Answer the questions below! 1) Did you liked Bloodstained crafting system, considering what we know so far? 2) The crafting system has a list of things that you can craft. That means you cannot craft something just by having the materials to do it, you need to have what you want to create, on that list. How do you think that list is going to be updated? By finding new "recipes"? By leveling up Miriam? By progressing in the game? By finding relevant materials that would add new things to the list? 3) Some itens require other itens (not just materials) to be crafted. High Potion and High Ether requires Potion and Ether to be crafted, while Lohengrin, Schedar and Lightning Bolt requires Gram (a type of Sword, a mythological one). That can create a convoluted system where you need to find A to craft B and use the crafted B to create a C. What do you think of that? Fun because it makes you grind, search and find more stuff, or boring because you need to many things to reach the result you want? 4) In the past, IGA said that he wanted the game's drops to be related to enemy parts, such as head, body, etc. Some of the materials there seen to be generic, such as Melted Skull or Tail. Do you want materials to follow some kind of logic (like, any enemy with a tail, should have a chance to drop the generic "tail" material, any enemy with a skull should drop some kind of skull) or w0uld you prefer if the game had materials scatered around enemies without the need to follow a rigid logic behind it? 5) The sword Schedar requires "Vepar Fangs" to be crafted. Vepar is a boss. Do you think bosses will drop materials for crafting? If that's so, how that will work out? They will have 100% chance of dropping (since they are bosses and usually fought only once), or maybe bosses that CAN be normal enemies later on could have a normal drop rate? Or the game could have some kind of system to summon bosses again to fight them and make them drop their stuff? 6) Regarding drop rates, what do you expect or want, regarding materials? Low or high drop chances overall? Also, would you like to find materials scatered around the game, inside chests and such? As prize for quests, among other ways to obtain them? 7) This updated also presented us with a new bat-like enemy (without official name yet). Do you think that enemy will have a shard? If yes, what type and how it would be? 8) The options menu that quickly shows in the crafting system, shows cooking and shards (and also something that looks like dismantle itens). Regarding cooking, do you think the game may end up being too easy if it has several potions and food types, considering the game's cap for itens seems to be 99? 9) Regarding Shards, how do you think they will integrate into the crafting system? Adding up Shards to level themselves up? Maybe using them to give special effects to weapons and equipment? Or maybe, using Shards to create totally new ones? 10) Regarding the last option in the menu, that LOOKS LIKE dismantling, what do you think of it? Would you like if the game had, like, a very rare material that can only be obtained by dismantling a very rare piece of equipment or something like that? 11) Do you think that, with the crafting system, the game may turn into a "grind feast" in order to obtain materials needed to craft things as quickly as possible? What would be the outcomes of this? 12) Crafting should be optional? (everything you can craft, you would be able to find in the game, abeit in a harder way). That's all folks!

There are some additional points i would like to make. So i'm going to make a second analysis: Take a look at this picture where i used all my fantastic talent on paint to mark some specific spots to talk about. Color-coded for your convenience: CRAFTING TABS
The first tab probably means "all". If i'm not mistaken, it's like the game's menu. So, you can see allthe things you can craft at the moment in the first tab and select specific types of crafting at the other tabs. If you have that option, it is probably because the things you can craft are so many that if you want to find something specific, you can use the specific tabs to look for it. STATS AND INFORMATION
Not only the MP bar changed colors, but the icons also changed how they look and their overall color. Miriam's picture vanished for some reason from the gray Status area (maybe it just isn't shown while crafting, for some reason). Also, when the player looks at a weapon or armor, the bonus stats show up there, even if you can't craft it yet. MATERIALS
The materials shows how much you will have after crafting a certain piece and at the top bottom, you can select how many you wanna do. Some people complained at comments in the video, that the crafting animation will get old and boring quick. But you don't need to see it every single time. I'm sure you can skip it with the press of a button AND if you wanna craft several potions at the same time, for instance, you can choose the amout there and the animation will play just once, i guess. WEAPONS WITH DIFFERENT ELEMENT TYPES
Lohengrin, Schedar and Lightning Bolt are actually three Gram-like swords, each one enchanted with one of the three basic damage elemnets of the game (Fire, Ice and Lightning, lacking only light and dark). That made me wonder if most weapons will have that kind of variety. That would be interesting. That's all folks!

THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE I FORGOT TO SAY. They said they are working with PORTING the game now. That MOST PROBABLY means the game is complete.I think you only do porting after the game is done. But i may be wrong.

Great update! I said it before that it would be either the reveal of what the Effective Shard does, or crafting. i was right. So, let's get down to analysis: THE BASICS OF CRAFTING
Crafting is basically adding stuff to create stuff Crafting is basically adding up to four different itens to get a expected result from a predetermined list. It's basic, simple and efficient. I can guess that list gets bigger as you find recipes, or as you progress in the game and / or by leveling Miriam up. Either way, i didn't expected anything more complex than this, since the game already has a ton of stuff to do, so, the crafting is what i wanted it to be (the only downsize is the "recipe" style, where you already have what you wanna do. It kinda kills a bit of the surprise, but nothing really bad about it). CRAFTING ITENS
Everything looks so beautiful, even the little details like this crafting circle We have quite the variety of stuff there to be used for crafting. Just for a check: High Potion: Potion, Melted Skull, Tail, Giant Frong Eye. HigH Ether: Ether, Melted Skull, Bat Fangs, Egg. Lohengrin: Gram, Fire Stone, Steel. Schedar: Gram, Vepar Fangs, Steel. Lightning Bolt: Gram, Amethyst Fragment, Steel. Partisan: Spear, Amethyst Fragment, Steel. Thorn Whip: Whip, Moco Plant Leaf, bat Fangs. Armor Piercing: (?) Brigandine: (?) Some interesting stuff about all of this, is that some weapons require other weapons to be crafted. Schedar Sword requires Vepar Fangs (Vepar drops that at 100% rate? There are more equipment that requires this? We can fight Vepar again?), among other things. EQUIPPING FORGED STUFF
Moco PLant Leaf and Fangs to give spikes to a whip...it kinda makes sense. I know that this wouldn't require a screenshot just to talk about it, but i like that you can craft and equip something at the same time. A cool shortcut. Also, the icons on Miriam's menu and the MP bar changed colors and styles.
CRAFTING OPTIONS
Shards? That will be interesting... In a absurdly quickly way, we can barely see the crafting options here. The first one (top to bottom) looks like what the video shows. Crafting weapons, potions and armor. The second options is basically cooking, something i really didn't expected the game would have, but, it's kinda fun that will have (i admit i disliked the idea before, but i'm liking now). The third one is obviously Shard, so, that means we can CRAFT Shards? Maybe just enpower them with more shards of the same type or we can actually create new powers by combining shards? that would be wicked! The last potion is probably dismantle, to break down stuff to create new materials. Also, Johannes is the one handling crafting, also what we expected.
CRAFTING ROOM
The stronghold The crafting room looks like a scenario with portraits that was shown before. It is probably at the village, so, the village may be the heroe's stronghold against the forces of Gebel. That's a nice touch. Also, that blue candle alchemy circle has any meaning? NEW ENEMY
New Bat-enemy A bat to annoy us as all Igavania games must have. And a quite ugly-wicked at that. Loved it. By the way, this bat-enemy has no name? I really liked this update. Lots of things to discuss. Great one! That's all folks!
