I wouldn't mind playing Terraria with others on here eventually, but just so you know, I'm a dirty, dirty cheater. The game should've come with a Creative Mode like Minecraft, and because I don't feel like spending hours looking for materials on top of the hours spent building and planning, I save edit.

I don't know about everyone else but some of my favorite weapons were the 'swinging' type. Sure the early-game weapons like the Axe and hammer were slow...but the damage couldn't be topped! Then you moved on to powerful, fast swinging weapons like the Claimh Solais from Aria of Sorrow and destroyed everything in your path! I wouldn't mind seeing our strong female protagonist swinging massive axes or clubs, things of that nature. This would place more of an emphasis on tactics and learning enemy patterns, discerning the right window to move in and administer punishing blows! Maybe something like this! That looks like a... nevermind.

Here's a cool weapon-type I'd personally want to see Miriam use, above all others (though the Pile-Driver is definitely a neat option): Double-Edged War Scythes! (Like the one used by Death in the 2nd phase of the battle against him in Aria of Sorrow)

NSFW? it's close but I don't think so... but that is up to staff to decide... anyway, I believe she was not a "good guy" though. I wonder if Iga approves the final design of the main characters or not, but if he does he makes the sure the main characters are not overly sexy (like in too many games). and I think that is awesome. XD That is technically right...though she remains fully-playable in Judgment. While this next one isn't "scantily-clad", her clothes in this Judgment design appear to be skin-tight. Those "sacred gifts" of hers. Check how big they are in-game! (As a matter-of-fact...look at Carmilla's in-game) "Velnandes".

Koji Igarashi was involved with Castlevania Judgment, though. (Not necessarily an "Igavania") (I'll Edit this post if necessary, if you believe this image is too NSFW) Those shoes are ridiculous Edit: Here's one of Carmilla wearing less: Mine is from CotM, though, which I don't think IGA was involved with.

I've been playing Rouge Legacy for the last couple days. Thinking I'm going to take a break from it though and try out Child of Light... I just bought this the other day because it was on sale on Steam. It's pretty fun so far, but I don't think I'm very good at the game.

SML's stream has introduced me to Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. I'm five years late to the proverbial party, but tis a lot of fun. I'm also terrible at solo-runs, but the challenge keeps me going! I'm looking forward to playing with a team again if and when I get the chance. I can play with you at some point tonight if you want.

I don't think IGA had much to do with that pachislot game, though I don't either, but he was still employed by Konami at that point, so I wasn't sure whether it was worth mentioning or not. Then I remembered how ridiculous some of the character shots were. XD

I see the cons for killing it, but what are the pros? What should players get or potentially get for slaying the candle skeleton? Honestly? I'd go oldschool on this one and say that there are no "pros" to killing the candle skeleton. There were plenty of instances in Rondo of Blood (and Im sure in SotN) where there were things you could interact with that did nothing, and others that the "reward" was for leaving them alone because if you messed with them something bad happened. *cough* the confessional *cough* XD The confessional could hurt you, but I think you also had a chance to get an item. I think a lot of players would kill the candle skeleton expecting a reward of some sort, because we've been conditioned to expect one by this point. Having the opposite happen would be amusing to some, I admit

Kill him and the candles might not respawn for the rest of the game! I must say the more I think about it the more I like this idea. Except that I would make one change to my statement above. Not only would the candle skeleton run away if you got too close, if he took any damage he would also immediately run away as well. On easy/normal difficulty if you manage to kill the candle skeleton the skeleton will eventually respawn. It should happen maybe after 10-15 minutes and/or after exploring X number of rooms as in room transistions not necessarily NEW rooms. For the room transitions maybe somewhere in the range of 15 to 20. During that time all of the candles you destroy stay gone until the candle skeleton respawns. After he respawns all the candles in rooms that are not adjacent to the room you are in are instantly respawned and the timer previously described starts for both adjacent rooms and then follows the normal rules. If you are playing in hard or nightmare mode, if you kill the Candle skeleton he is gone for the rest of that game and does NOT respawn. And NEITHER DO ANY OF THE CANDLES YOU DESTROY!!! XD I see the cons for killing it, but what are the pros? What should players get or potentially get for slaying the candle skeleton?

That sword is really beautiful! I personally have only used stock whips (just for show) and machetes (for navigating through jungle) in reality. It'd be nice to see an authentic katana in real life. I only knew about the weapon poll after it had ended. I probably would have chosen Rapier as well, due to how fun it was to use in SOTN (that and the werebane). Has anyone suggested a limited-hit weapon yet btw? Something like Fire Emblem has, where you can only use it a limited amount of times. To balance it out/make it worth finding/crafting, it would have to have a significantly higher damage output than normal weapons, or maybe even unique attacks (like the sword lasers from the older Zelda games). Ugh, I hated those. "I have this godly weapon, but I can't go nuts and use it to blast through minions, because it'll break." I remember the werebane. That pink zigzag effect was neat.

i would rather a lizardman enemy be its own creature, i liked the fact the one in HoD wasnt a brute but a fencer, and im sure there will be a few suit of armor style enemies in the game, whether by demonic possession, latent magic or just an armored up foot soldier demon ^_^ That's definitely the kind of Lizardman enemy I like the most. Especially if they also have the ability to spew poison at you. Or even like the Lizardman enemies from Order of Ecclesia, like the one that charges at you with a two-handed sword. Back on-topic, I've got a relevant image from Deviant-Art to post, for the Japanese PC game "Alter Ego"! Lerajie If you ask me, I like the idea of this demonic enemy in heavy armor with multiple arrow-filled quivers. If he keeps firing four at a time, those are going to run out real fast XD

ummm, lets see... SotN on psp and console (running luck mode w/ death skip but no aluquipment, crissaegrim, or dupe use except for meal card spam for 100% items, really hard setup so far but i sequence broke early jump stone for faerie card and then found out they fixed the money glitch on psp >.<) DoS (finishing up max soul keep, stolas ripper and arc demon to go then run 2 death and abaddon, and 100% items before i beat and go to PoR) still trying to beat the gauntlet in magician mode on CotM (damn you mp drain), RoB classic and 3d, axiom verge (awesome game btw), chips challenge, would be playing myst III but not on steam yet, wind waker, ESO (researching atm), dead rising 3, a lot more that are on hold yeah, can you tell i have ADHD? >P That's hilarious. I had a ton of fun with that area in fighter mode, but I noped right out of it during my first few magician playthroughs. If I'm remembering correctly, you can pop an MP restore and get a summon off before it takes all your MP

Oh, in that case, I do hope you get your hands on copies of other "Metroidvania"-style Castlevania games. Do you know if there are any metroidvania style games for ps3, psp, or vita? I know of a few Castlevania games for those systems, but those are 3D ones, a lootgrind one, an iffy 2D one, and one that has SotN as an unlockable and a base game that lacks some of the things SotN has. Are you interested in those?
