The two games I ordered came in, and my Miriam coaplay also came in, so it's a good day so far. Can we see it?

Hah! Those placeholders crack me up. They should keep them in the game as unlockables or something.

Nope... I just messed it up. Hey, please give me opinions on making the Dim theme the default. I'm a little late on this as it was already made default, but dim is a definite improvement.

I'm loving the art style, but that picture in the first post is driving me nuts. The archer on the left doesn't have a quiver, or any visible arrows, or even a string for her bow. She's just kind of holding it out awkwardly. Ugh. The Cataphract looks adorable, though. It reminds me of squig riders from Warhammer. It's just magic string and magic arrows >.> all explainable >.> >.> The Archer, Hunter, Ranger, and Scout classes all have strings, though. Must be a lategame item, eh?

Hi guys—sorry about the lack of updates, we've been working really hard to get our new survey software live and that involved a lot of ducking our heads down and testing things. This week I'm going to be working with the Japan side to get their pieces of August's update ready, so we should have something for you soon. As for the survey, I don't have a launch date yet, but I think you're all going to like it. We're trying to build something that feels a little more like the original campaign than most survey/slacker backer systems, so that people who missed the Kickstarter can still feel like they're contributing to development, instead of just preordering a game. (I'll try to have an updated survey timeline in our next update. I also noticed some people asking for updated funding totals, so I'll check in about that, too.) Let me know if you have any questions—I'll be hanging around on here much more often now. (We just ran our first ever convention here in Tucson and I had to host our two-day charity stream, so things were a bit hectic...) Thank you for the update on the update.

I'd be fine. The last game I played was Hand of Fate, so while I'm sure the MC could kill me even with starting equipment, he would move one space, the space would be a card for a fight with not one, not two, but FIVE LAVA GOLEMS, and he would die.

I'm conflicted here. On the one hand, you're so passionate about Castlevania that you've decided to write a story about it, which is good. On the other hand, the story is...not good. English not being your primary language is definitely a major issue, but even after going through and correcting some serious errors in a word document, the dialogue is still pretty bad.

Well that's messed up. I would say that this is going to lead to me not buying their products, but honestly, I'm already at that point. *Shrugs* The only way they could turn that around would be to treat their employees better and to release an IGAvania game that takes place during the Demon Castle War of 1999. Also, I feel bad for laughing at "there are cameras in the office corridors that aren’t there for security, but rather to monitor the movements of Konami’s own employees.", but given my experience with MG, I'm picturing the employees sneaking about, Snake style.

Today was absolutely horrible... I have been eating alot of ice cream the past couple of days because I bought a gallon of chocolate revel. Today at work my stomach started to rumble I knew something was seriously wrong and rushed for the bathroom. I made it in time but the door was locked and the bathroom was occupied because sadly my work is to cheap to pay for a multi-person bathroom. I frantically knocked on the door and got the casual "I will be out in a minute". Just as the doorknob started to turn my bowels released and I shit my pants right then and there. I immediately rushed in locked the door and did my best to clean up the mess tossing my disgusting shitty underwear in the trash and covering them with paper towels. No one noticed and I went back to my desk I guess I was lucky in that respect... Chocolate in, chocolate out. I'm sorry to hear that.

I can't read this for some reason. It just shows a picture of stained glass and says "Part one of of an up-and-coming fan-fiction based around Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a kickstarter backed project created by Koji Igarashi." EDIT: What displays as a smiley here actually reads " " on DA.

Well all my work was lost Y-Y Except this frame! It's not a great artwork, it's not even Miriam =P It's supposed to be my wife with her long hair, a sweater with stripes she has and some jeans. The colors are not the ones I used as I exported that frame incorrectly and the colors are different, but only this remains! The animation had this little girl walking, moving arms and legs, her hair and hips had some little movements too, to make the movement fluid. I then recolor this girl with Miriam's outfit and colors. I think the sprite was pretty decent for a first try. I draw her in a 32 x 32 canvas... Why this tiny you ask? Well, my intention was to mix the sprite I did with a Lemming walking. You know Lemmings, right?...... RIGHT???LEMMINGVANIA! Or better: LemmingStained: Critters of the Night or something =P Just... imagine she's Miriam, OK? And imagine the walking cycle u_u "TA-DAAaaaAA!" I did it all by myself xD I hope you like it =D somehow =p They remind me of the zombies from Castlevania.

Well, it came out of nowhere! I knew a hosting provider transfer was going to happen eventually, but not even exactly what week. Honestly, I thought it already HAD happened. You see, this was supposed to be a "seamless switch" between two hosting companies that ProBoards owns. ProBoards has some limitations and expensive ad removal fees. Their other company Forums.net has much better plans, and most importantly after a 6 month contract with Forums.net for hosting, Team IGA will have the option to host anywhere they need to and break away from ProBoards/Forums.net completely while still keeping the user database and all our posts intact. There should be all sorts of new functionality available, but I can only affect the old ProBoards admin stuff, not the Forums.net back end stuff. Such is the reason I can slap a fast fix on why our BloodstainedFanForums.com will not direct here. Thanks to the ease of communication with the awesome folks at Playism, I have updated the name servers for that URL and it should point here within 24 hours of this post. Hopefully everyone will return! I will assume that anyone who was really curious would check the KickStarter comments section to figure out how to get here. I hate that such a thing is necessary though. I feel an enormous pressure. I love this place and have worked hard to maintain a quality meeting ground for us fans. The URL wasn't working for 2 hours before I even knew about it. I was really busy at work, and was meeting some urgent customer needs while also trying to figure out what I could do to fix the URL problem. Knowing that the URL will not be properly directing for a while makes me feel pretty bad, but honestly I've done all I can for now. Thank you for being patient while we make this transition. Should Team IGA ever wish to switch away from forums.net as a host, the URL we usually use can be redirected and we may have to deal with another DNS propagation at that time. That is at least 6 months away (if ever) and should be announced well before hand so people know what to expect. You can be certain that a server wipe would never happen, and that your posts and user accounts are forever safe! It appears that our fonts are a little funky after the switch. I can work on that tomorrow. I'm not sure what else might be messed up, so if you notice anything please bring it to my attention. This game is going to be amazing. Right now we can focus on the community more than the game because we have limited info about it. This community is amazing. Like I've said many times: This forum is nothing without it's members. Thank you, everyone. Dude, you're doing just fine. Most if not all of us puzzled it out, you were there on Kickstarter helping users through how to access the site, and you were doing this while working! Don't sweat it.

Well, I destroyed some of it.
Edit: Digging it out manually was tedious, so I decided to try to wall it off. That was also tedious, so I decided to dig more efficiently. There's a nice trench on the side of the base now.
I'm sorry about the unicorn blocks being gone, but in my defense, I wasn't paying much attention, and unicorns and pixies kept trying to kill me.

Hey, heads up for those on the server. Someone spread corruption just left of the town and now its continually spreading into the town itself. While the Climator can stave off the corruption a bit, with the server continually running and with us NOT being on server continually, that can become a major problem (townsfolk move out of corrupted or crimson areas, additional monster spawns, etc.) There's also nothing stoping it from spreading further downward and around where we can spray in other areas. We may want to isolate the town area via digging or spread hollow on the land (though that comes with its own difficulties) before the issue gets out of control. That's hilarious. I'm not behind it, and server logs will verify that, but I got a good chuckle out of it.

Today sucks. I keep breaking stuff accidentally. Whatever holds up the blinds in my room snapped when I tried to look out of them (which I do every day without incident up until today), so they're all the way up now to avoid looking trashy. This also means I can't just walk around in boxers until I fix the blinds, as there are often children outside. I had a microwaveable bowl suffer a catastrophic failure, spilling my soup everywhere, so I got to clean that up and throw the bowl out. That was fun. Also, my mousewheel makes a really annoying clicking sound when I scroll. That started today. I've decided, after all this, to head to the grocery store to pick up something good to eat. Knowing my luck, I'll be hit by a car, or a piano. Possibly an anvil.
