It has been pretty fine, I played some magic the gathering with friends (I have commander decks and a mono-white modern) and I'm setting up an tabletop rpg game with them (Trying out shadowrun)
Which edition?
"He called to the night. His heart beseeched the Abyss. It answered in blood."
Something I saw linked elsewhere on the internet - an ebook bundle focused on video game related books/magazines: storybundle.com/games Now why am I bringing it up here? Because of this Castlevania related ebook sounds like it might be something relevant to Army of the Night interests. At least I think it might, have no personal experience with HardcoreGaming 101 books.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Oh my god. Worth it. So worth it! So many screenshots!
So check this out: Simon's Quest came with trading cards in Japan.
This is SO good! Page 153 has 42 pictures of Dracula from a whole bunch of different games. 154 has 21 pictures of Death, but it seems to be missing a few.
I wish I could go into more detail but let's just say this. I am a firm believer in running a good campaign that focus on community, solid stretch goals, and fits a solid timeline. I need to be able to produce the campaign and if I'm in a situation where I can't, I won't be able to do my job to the best of my ability. Trust me, you will know when I come out with my next campaign. It should be pretty amazing.
I agree thats running a good campaign that focus on a community is a must, BUTT it also has to deliver and treat the community with respect after the kickstarter has ended, cause treating your "investors" poorly like what happend in Mighty n9 is a bad decision for furture projects like Red Ash.
This Video had my direct thoughts on the matter, I would like you to watch it.
Cheers.
That's a pretty long video, man. I'm interested in your direct thoughts, but not enough that I'm going to spend 18 minutes on a video just to get an idea of them. As you seem pretty passionate about this topic, did you want to just post your thoughts here?
"He called to the night. His heart beseeched the Abyss. It answered in blood."
I just want to be able to explore the entire castle as Gebel. Boss Revenge Mode allows players to "control several different bosses, utilize their special attacks to wreak havok, explore a new BOSS REVENGE area, and turn the tables and defeat “Hero” Bosses in your pursuit of humanity's destruction."
I'm not sure if that new area is in addition to the main castle or in place of it.
by the way, we should move this conversation to this topic, and not talk about characters here.
My bad. I thought we were just having an enjoyable conversation about updates > specifically what update you want > something I'd like to see related to the specific update you voiced interest in> something you'd like to see related to the specific update you voiced interest in> game modes (which we still need more info on, and thus would be a great topic for an update).
Heck, several people even joined in with suggestions on the topic of the extra characters, including the OP of this thread... yet your post was a reply to mine, not to any of theirs, even though the only content in your reply was "move this convo somewhere else, not here". You could've easily posted that without a quote so as to not single me out, but hey.
I guess next time I feel like having an organically flowing conversation with you, I'll consult the list of threads on this site before I open my mouth, so I can make sure I put my post in the right place.

Please be Gebel, please be Gebel, please be Gebel...
They reached the playable boss mode stretch goal, so Gebel is technically playable through that already.
I'd much rather they be Johannas and someone new

Welcome Ben Judge, to where everybody knows your name...wait that's Cheers! Well, if they don't know, now they know! At any rate...glad to have you here sir! This calls for a celebration. How can we? I'd buy us all a round of favorite drinks or something if I could. Heh heh
"He called to the night. His heart beseeched the Abyss. It answered in blood."
This was a one time thing, happened in 2005 in world of warcraft when I was playing and it was called "the corrupted blood incident". There was a virus that one of the bosses had that damaged players, and it wasn't suppose to leave the raid but there was a bug that allowed you take it out of the raid by using a hunter pet. The contagion soon spread all around the world infecting and killing players in all the major cities of the game. It was the first and only ever virtual epidemic,
This actually caught the attention of the CDC and other government bodies, by the way.

HAH! Been listening to these for the past few days while working on game stuff. Small world. I had them show up in the recommended list when I was listening to Curse of Darkness tracks.

I have the Admin account seperate from my po sting account now for security reasons. I'm still me.
But this one says admin too...?
I'm guessing the two have different permissions and logins.

Redogan: Some people are gonna get to eat a meal and play some games with IGA! Awesome!

LeoLeWolferoux: Sooo... I guess some dude on Twitter stumbled across a financial document from 505 games indicating that a '2nd version' of Bloodstained was in the works??? back sometime in like 2021???
Apr 15, 2023 21:00:49 GMT -6
LeoLeWolferoux: How am I just now finding out about this/ C'mon, IGN. Get it together.
Apr 15, 2023 21:01:12 GMT -6
LeoLeWolferoux: Dunno how this Twitter user came across these documents, tho, assuming since they don't know any further details, it wasn't someone *from* 505 Games. I certainly hope it was obtained via legal means...
Apr 15, 2023 21:02:13 GMT -6
XombieMike: Shortly after 505 let that document go public the official Bloodstained twitter confirmed there will be a second game. ArtPlay is finishing Bloodstained DLC and then we will learn more about the next game.

Aug 15, 2023 23:15:43 GMT -6
Redogan: Any ideas on when we get the rest of the updates? I'm still waiting on my physical copy with everything on it for my CV collection.
Aug 23, 2023 12:48:28 GMT -6
Redogan: Nice to see a project update! I like the new Classic 2.0 mode with Dominique. Looks like it plays like a traditional CV game--which is a good thing. Glad to see some gameplay video of Chaos and VS modes, too!
Sept 6, 2023 18:16:32 GMT -6
ShroudedTraveler: Did they say when they were releasing the update with Dominique? I don't recall seeing anything in the video, so I'm assuming not
Sept 7, 2023 16:40:01 GMT -6
Redogan: I didn't see anything about the release date. I just know that it is paid DLC. (So, us backers don't get it for free. Which is fine.)
Sept 8, 2023 16:54:52 GMT -6
ShroudedTraveler: Yeah. At this point, with the game being as old as it is, I'd be fine paying for the content.
Sept 12, 2023 19:00:02 GMT -6
XombieMike: Classic mode 2 will be canon!
Sept 15, 2023 19:55:00 GMT -6
Ciel: Been a long time since I last logged here, but it seems that until we get any news of a sequel, there won't be much to discuss. Oh well!
Sept 25, 2023 14:32:30 GMT -6
purifyweirdshard: The discord is certainly where the activity is, but we'll keep this forum up and running as long as we can. Bloodstained's subreddit also still moves along pretty well
