My Castlevania career is limited to Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclesia, Symphony of the Night, and the PSP remake of... was it Dracula X?
Anyway, among those four, my favorite was probably Order of Ecclesia, despite it being the only one of the four I didn't beat.

Ah, so the sequel to one of the few Vita exclusives worth getting is going to be for the home console. And now my Vita is even more of a dust collector. If it weren't for my OCD, I might just sell the waste of space.
Anyway, I wonder how the camera will work this time. Honestly, the first Rush annoyed me because the camera function made it so that you had to play it either standing up, or in a chair that can spin around. Hyped for this.

If we have multiple endings, I'd enjoy it if every ending is somewhat open to interpretation, and it's not a simple case of Bad Ending/Good Ending/Golden Ending.
I really liked the game Muramasa Rebirth in that regard, the endings that required extra hurdle clearing to get were not necessarily happier/better endings. (I still think Kisuke's default ending was his best ending, and Momohime's best ending was her middle ending rather then her third ending.)
Having every ending have both good and bad outcomes might also make sequel talk more interesting, since there wouldn't be an obviously happy ending that's the predictable choice for a possible sequel to build on.

Looking at the course attempt/clear ratio, my levels are apparently more then a little challenging. Fort Hammer Bros. has not been cleared a single time by any other players. Mind you, that level was made to be hard. Still, I find it baffling how barely anyone was able to get past the first section of the stage.
Also, one new course from me.
Castle Kamek ID: (A08F-0000-0035-91C9)
Like Fort Hammer Bros. it's in the 'made to be hard' category.

Went to Gamestop today. Picked up my pre-order for Super Mario Maker, set a pre-order for Samurai Warriors 4-II, and picked up an Olimar amiibo. And that'll probably be my last video game related purchases this year, excluding the holiday season.
My nephew is probably going to flip out and beg me non-stop for a chance to play the game once he knows I have SMM. (Been dodging the question of pre-ordering it when talking to him about the game. Because, while I love my nephew, I've come to find it rather tiresome to be begged over nearly every game I get.)

Haven't played Shovel Knight myself, but I've a friend who is a really big fan of it. I heard about the Plague Knight DLC from him.
I've been thinking about getting the game. While normally I don't care too much for what the popular opinions are, it is true that the critical acclaim has made the game intriguing in my eyes.

Hmm... we seem to have another thread about this in the external articles that was created about 2 hours before. I we should merge the thread, but does it belong in off topic or external articles? It's not Bloodstained related... Seeing as the External Articles forum is defined as videos, articles, and etc. that are related to the game, and this has nothing to do with Bloodstained (it has to do with IGA, not his current game) my judgment would be that it should be in Off-Topic.

"I'm gonna be sadistic towards the player". He's speaking for me there, since I'll be among the crowd trying to make hellish, as nails stages once the game releases.
Also, hope the stage he made gets distributed on players after release. (Though these pre-release stages are connected to a different server, I've heard.) That looks like a fun level to try and take a crack at.

I just bought an used 3DS XL (the console already has Pokemon Y, Professor Layton, Zelda 4 Swords or something like that and 2 other games) from a friend of mine, 400 BRL (~ 110 USD). I only want to play Ace Attorney and Professor Layton, but what else could I play with this? (excluding Pokemon, I'm not really into it.) I recommend fire emblem awakening and if you like it maybe check the new fire emblem coming out. Its a strategy game with a marrige system. Maybe conception 2 for your waifu needs. Bravley default is a turn base rpg that is the successer to some final fantasy game, i forgot which one. Those are the only ones that i like and come to mind, but there are many other animish games on it. Bravely Default has the most similarities to FFIII and FFV with its job mechanics. Though it's also its own entity, with new mechanics. (FFIII and FFV didn't have anything remotely resembling the Brave Points mechanic.)
I should warn that Bravely Default pulls a Ghosts N' Goblins four times over. It's justified in the plot, but it's a horrible, horrible way to make a game longer.

Wii U: Splatoon
Accomplished my goal of hitting level 40, and at the rate I'm going I'll be level 42 before Super Mario Maker. The game is amazing fun, though it does feel like Nintendo has tapped only 30% of its potential.
PS4: Samurai Warriors 4
Mostly just creating CAWs (Create-A-Warriors) as I cross my fingers for news of Samurai Warriors 4: Empires being localized. I'm glad that Hyrule Warriors got me into other Warriors games. And I seem to always come back to Warriors games, if you really desire to do everything in a Warriors game then you'll find that they have a pretty insane replayability factor.
3DS: Etrian Odyssey II Untold The Fafnir Knight
Honestly having more fun in Classic Mode then in Story Mode. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the Story Mode cast, but as a semi-retired Fanfiction writer (though trying to come out of retirement) I like having 5 blank slate characters that I can 'write' the characters of as I please.

Every day is like any other for me. Helping the family with any issues they have, entertaining by hobby of video games, job hunting (joy...), etc.
I have quite a few games to look forward to as well. Super Mario Maker and Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer (Nintendo's trying to make a developer out of me) are both pre-ordered. Then I'll look into Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Fox Zero, that new Dissidia, Bravely Second, Fire Emblem Fates, and probably a few Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors games. The Warriors games make for some good fun, it helps that Dynasty is based on China's Three Kingdoms, which, as someone who occasionally studies military text, I say is one of the most interesting periods of human military history.

I've been having a hard time getting into new games lately. I bought myself a PS4, but I didn't really like many of the games I bought for it; Watchdogs was tedious, The Evil Within lost its fear factor after the first sequence of the game, and although everyone CHAMPIONS D ragon Age: Inquisition, I found the gameplay anything but immersive. That isn't to say that there aren't games that I love; Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor is AMAZING, but I mowed through the entire experience in less than three days in-between work and errands. Also, you wouldn't think an HD upgrade for The Last of Us would have made a big difference to how awesome the game already is, but you'd be wrong. However, I have been doing quite a bit of retro gaming. I finally beat, full ending, Demon's Crest for the SNES and started the Breath of Fire games that I never beat as a kid. I also got Chrono Trigger for the DS and have been collecting all the endings (four more to go!). However, I am really itching to revisit Order of Ecclesia. When in doubt, replay Order of Ecclesia! Actually been thinking of getting back into the game recently.
Never beat it, I recall losing interest around the time you fought Death. And my most vivid memory of the game is that fight with the colossal demon centaur, or... whatever that thing was. Well, that and the crab that you drop an elevator on.

While Capcom can be a massive WTF (though to be fair, they have been getting themselves back on track lately with SFV, next-gen Strider, Ace Attorney 6, etc.) I just see Konami as completely unsalvageable these days.
Saving Konami would probably require bloodily purging the suits at this point.

I can safely assume that, although the image only shows Miriam's outfit in different colors, the game will let us change her entire outfit and we won't be limited to palette swaps for everything below her neck. And as someone who likes prim and proper outfits, I do hope there's an option to put her in formal wear. (Suits, etc.)
Wouldn't be surprised if the Wii U version of the game has special Nintendo outfits where you can dress Miriam up as Link, Zelda, Samus, and etc. I mean, who wouldn't want to hack their way through a castle of darkness while in Mario's overalls? Perhaps Nintendo costumes could work in a system akin to Super Mario Maker's costumes. Amiibos let you unlock the content painlessly, non-amiibo owners can unlock them via an in-game method.

Been playing Splatoon. Currently suffering the growing pains of being late to an online game party. It's fun though. Easy, fast fun. I don't have to dedicate HOURS to playing it or no progress will be made. I can pick it up for 30 mins and still get somewhere, get a new gun or something. But it also has Ika Musume gear! Like official Squid Girl stuff! I love Squid Girl! I MUST HAVE IT. I got Splatoon on release day, and I'm currently pounding my way to the new level 50 cap. Level 38 at the moment of writing. Also was on the winning team of the last Splatfest, and going through with my crusade to buy everything from the stores.
I don't really like the new leveling system pass level 20. Now you have to ink 400 points of turf per battle for 2 points toward your next level, and an additional 3 points if your team wins the battle. So you'll be leaving a battle with 5 points at max.
Naturally the amount of points to go up a level has been reduced. Going from 20 to 21 requires 24 points. Then going from 21 to 22 requires 48, basically every level extends the necessary points by an extra 24. Where I am, going from level 38 to level 39, requires a colossal 456 points.
I'll finish this self-torture sooner or later. I plan to be at least at level 40 before Super Mario Maker.

Honestly, though a heterosexual male, video game girls never had much appeal to me. 2-D girls or polygonal girls don't get me going.
Which was kind of funny with the beach DLC in Fire Emblem Awakening. You can put two male characters (Chrom and Gaius) and two female characters (Cordelia and Tharja) into swimsuits. Had no real appeal to me either way, but since I did buy it knowing more or less what it was, I think I have very ridiculously little right to complain.
I will say that Alice from Bloody Roar (Bloody Roar 2 design to be specific, didn't see her BR1 design until years later) marked the first time that I specifically noted a game girl as attractive.
EDIT: It may or may not be worth mentioning that when Fire Emblem Fates comes out, I've isolated Felicia as the wife of my first run with the game's marriage system.

Please let this be an early hint of Shovel Knight getting into Smash.
And hopefully with the Shovel Knight amiibo, Nintendo will continue to be like they were with the amiibos for the Smash guest characters and get a surprising amount of use out of Shovel Knight's amiibo.
And, while they don't (yet, at least) have the critical acclaim that Shovel Knight has enjoyed, this does make me more hopeful for stuff like Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained getting amiibos.

It was just announced for a worldwide 2016 Wii U release. I, however, have a problem with the game. Namely the fact that I have yet to see SCIZOR. Or Deoxys. Or Mewtwo.
Ah, for the thread subject, the only game I have pre-ordered at this time is Super Mario Maker. Semi-gaming, I also have the amiibo Retro 3-Pack pre-ordered, so I'll be getting the amiibos for R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game & Watch.
Pikachu "Libre" instead of Hawlucha, eh? Interesting... I suspect the reason for Libre Pikachu is because there wouldn't be many 'cutesy' Pokémon otherwise.
I do hope that, like most arcade-to-console ports, the console version will have new content, and of course, more playable Pokémon. I'd be very, very happy to see Scizor join the roster. (Favorite Pokémon since GenII, and I've been with the franchise since GenI.)
