I like using Cait Sith, but I refuse to ever use his Limit Break because of the fact it has a random chance to inflict an instant game over on the player, and I've never been good with RNG stuff.
I do hope that Vincent gets a stat power up. While I like the character, he really starts trailing behind everyone else at the later levels.

Regarding VII, evidentially I'm in the minority of people who actually love Cait Sith. Gameplay-wise he's a good mage, so he got himself a place on my team after a certain other mage-type character got all stabbinated by Sephiroth. Hope I can play as Cait Sith by himself in the remake and he's a decently strong character in gameplay, it's be pretty funny to see him be the one leading the charge into the Northern Cave.

I'm genuinely enjoying it. It's a fun little side thing to do while browsing the forum.
Maybe it wouldn't be something to do constantly, but it's a game I'd enjoy having periodically.

The possessed can summon other demons to possess other forum members (even if they don't have a current discovered class). Warriors are the opposite, they can attack the possessed and try and kill them to stop the spread of possession. Alchemists can attempt to banish the demons and turn the other person back to normal. I'm a Warrior, and my options for who to Attack seem to be a bit broad. If I'm reading your explanation correctly, I should only be able to attack Possessed, correct? However, I'm seeing the Attack option appear under some Alchemists, and some of my fellow Warriors. EDIT: I just tested out the Attack command, and I have successfully ended Goobsausage's life. Apparently "Dead" can literally be someone's class.

As I've heard it, new copies of Hyrule Warriors Legends will come with a serial code. Put the code into the Wii U eShop and you can download select new Legends content for the Wii U version. You can get Ganondorf's new Trident and all the new characters, for example.
However, the Wind Waker story and Linkle's story will not transfer to the Wii U version, even if the associated characters do.

Looking forward to Steve Burton's performance as crossdressing Cloud seducing Don. Regarding the episodic nature, some words from SE have put me slightly at ease. www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1152062"From the beginning, we have considered it impossible to remake FF7 into one single game. Althought it's impossible to tell you the details about the splitting at the moment, please wait for our further announcement." "If we tried to stuff the whole game into one release, some part of the game would have to appear as digests. We'd have to remove some contents from the game, and it would be difficult to add more to the game. Considering that a full remake of the original game must be achived, we have decided to split the game into episodes." "Taking the No.8 street shown in the video this time, even just this is already highly dense. If we are to remake the content of the original version at that quality, it would have been impossible to do with a single release." "Splitting the original version into episode with nothing dropped, as well as adding complements, and remaking the game the game in its full volume is what we are thinking." I'm still a bit wary, episodic is a fine concept and all, but it works better for more linear games. The original VII had quite a bit of freedom as to what you would do. I just hope we don't get another Final Hallway XIII.

Smash broadcast predictions.
Adam from Metroid: Other M. His moveset will be comprised of him yelling "You're not authorized to do that!" and shutting off parts of the movesets of his opponents.
Tingle from The Legend of Zelda. His Final Smash will be him extorting ludicrous amounts of money from you to decipher charts.
Then, the character that the entire Direct builds up to will be... Chibi Federation Soldier from Metroid: Federation Force.
At the end of the broadcast, you'll see a silhouette of Solid Snake. Then you'll hear a voice say "Sorry, you're going to have to keep waiting.", then the image lights up and it's just Sakurai cosplaying as Snake, you'll then be told that Konami wouldn't play nice and Snake isn't getting into Smash 4.
There would be so much rage. Tee hee.
More seriously, I want a release date for Cloud and the Inklings confirmed for Smash. I have no immediate desires for anyone else, but it would be nice to get Wolf back. I'm genuinely giddy for the broadcast.

Making me vote twice, how dare you, Ixbran.
May the socks you're wearing be slightly rotated. Just enough to be UNCOMFORTABLE.
*votes for Link to The Past, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, Oracle series, and Hyrule warriors... again*

but nobody i know wants to play it cause dynasty warriors Lame. I picked up Dynasty Warriors 8 to see what the franchise's gameplay was like to prepare for Hyrule Warriors. Now I'm a dedicated Warriors fan. Anyway, I've got Twilight Princess HD all nice and pre-ordered, which means I'll be getting the Wolf Link amiibo as well, and I'm looking forward to Zelda U as well. I'll get around to pre-ordering Hyrule Warriors Legends sometime after we enter 2016. Linkle looks like she'll be fun to use, even though her name and her concept (female version of a traditionally male hero) are not exactly original.

Shader 1 for Miriam, but Shader 2 for the backgrounds.
Shader 1 in the backgrounds is a little too clean looking. Doesn't have the 'dark' feel I'd prefer in a gothic setting. Shader 2 supplies what is closer to what I want.
Conversely, Miriam herself looks much better in Shader 1. I don't think that I can convey it in words very well, her skin, and particularly her face look "off" with Shader 2.
I find myself leaning toward Shader 1. *votes*

Today was generally unremarkable, outside of family members asking me what would be a good birthday present. (I'm turning 25 on Dec. 5th.) I perked up at learning that games I love took awards at the Game Awards. Splatoon took Best Multiplayer, and Super Mario Maker took Best Family game. Then I sighed when I learned that Konami prevented Kojima from attending the Game Awards. www.polygon.com/2015/12/3/9847206/konami-prevented-kojima-attending-video-game-awards-2015Metal Gear Solid V took Best Action/Adventure game. Keifer Sutherland accepted the reward on Kojima's behalf. Not surprised with Konami, just annoyed. Last thing of note is that I set up my Playstation Plus membership so it won't auto-renew. It's time to withdraw my Plus membership for while. (It'll expire in about 6 more days.)

I remember watching this show a lot back in the day. Though admittedly my memories of the Samurai Jack parody on Duck Dodgers sticks out far more vividly in my mind.
I still have a special fondness for how Aku reacted to the gangster mob.
"Who dares disturb the... oh, *bored expression* it is you."
A shame that Aku's voice actor has since passed from this world. Hopefully the new voice will do Aku justice.
I wonder if showing on Adult Swim will mean anything regarding themes and the level of violence.

Capcom vs. Chuck Norris
*laugh track*
Alright, alright, more seriously.
Square-Enix to make new remakes for FFs 1 through 6 and package them all together, preferably for the 3DS, my main gaming console. Call it Finest Fantasies or something.

Incidentially, was it ever covered here that the December stream will be the last Smash stream? www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2015/November/Nintendo-Direct-returns-with-Wii-U-and-Nintendo-3DS-line-up-details-for-Christmas-and-beyond-1068261.html"Additionally, a special broadcast – the last one for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS – will be released in December." Whatever characters get announced in that stream will probably be the final DLC characters. We still have two more characters to be confirmed for the game. Tbh, DLC characters and training amiibo fighters are really the only thing that bring me back to Smash 4. I burnt out quicker on the 4th Smash then I did on any other Smash game. It's certainly a polished game, but for some reason it didn't grab me like the original, Melee, and Brawl did.

Heh, kind of funny the discussion that was triggered by my jokey comment about Squall. (Though I do honestly like him more then Cloud.) Squall probably is my favorite protagonist in the franchise. Though ever since Dissidia came along, I've become very fond of the Warrior of Light as well. (And Garland. While I don't find FFI itself to be all that notable, I loved Dissidia's take on FFI's characters.)
*ahem* Moving on, Cloud's inclusion also probably means that we'll be getting a Cloud amiibo as well. And hopefully it can get the same surprisingly large amount of functionality that the other third-party amiibos have received.
I really thought the amiibos of the third-party characters would be limited to functionality in Smash, and games with generic 'any amiibo' effects like Amiibo Tap. Then Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World's amiibo functionality came along. Not to mention the amiibo costumes in Mario Kart 8.

One thing to say, because I've seen some argument across the internet over this.
Cloud was most likely not the winner of the Smash Ballot.
The Ballot closed last month or so with a winner picked. To assume that they've (mostly) created the character, the stage, voicework, his render, Mii Fighter headpieces, and etc. in a month is to be extremely naïve about all this. Realistically, Cloud's probably been under construction since shortly after E3 ended. I am extremely doubtful that he's the Ballot winner. If he was, his model would likely be a rush job with easily noticed graphical oddities to it.
My hope for the Ballot winner, and the one whom I voted for, is the Inklings from Splatoon. (My first Ballot pick was for Solid Snake to return, but then Konami went completely insane, soooo...) Splatoon being Nintendo's newest IP, having a lot of vibrant life to it, I don't think I can be satisfied with one trophy and Mii Fighter costumes for Splatoon representation.
Moving on to my reaction, I really like that Cloud's getting in. VII is stupidly overhyped, but the game itself is still quite good. (V still has my favorite combat system and VI still has my favorite story, though.) I also love the attention to little moments of VII in the trailer. Zelda holding a Lip's Stick by a prone Cloud references Aerith meeting Cloud, Cloud dizzy in the boat references his motion sickness, etc.
He definitely looks real fun to play, I may never look at Shulk and Ike again.
Squall is still a better protagonist, though. There. I said it. And no one, no one can make me take it back!
