Just beat Castlevania 64 for the very first time and overall despite it's issues (f*** the camera and some of the platforming sections) I actually rather enjoyed the game.

I recently got a Brawler 64 controller (Note: I was a backer for this item and I'm not what you'd call a big N64 guy as I've tried getting into the system's library of games but didn't get very far because of how much I don't like the system's OG controller so I figured this controller would be much better option) and because of how good it felt using the controller on Mario 64 (pretty much the only N64 game I've actually managed to play more than 10 mins of using the OG controller) I decided to started digging deep into my small (currently 5 games deep) collection of N64 games beginning (from start to finish) with Castlevania 64. So far the controller has made playing this game soooo much more enjoyable for me (my first couple of attempts at playing this game with the OG N64 controller ended shortly after beating the first boss because of how painfully awkward it was using that controller on top of having to fight the camera) that I've actually made it to the Garden Maze (so far) where you come across the boy and Frankenstien's Monster rocking a chainsaw arm (for a game set in the mid 19th century I gotta say so far there seems to be some really odd enemy designs). I'm also kinda impressed that this game actually has multiple Vampires that are non boss characters (which I think might have been a series first) and the few I've encountered so far were were (imo) introduced really well (I about fell out of my chair as I wasn't really expecting them to do a jump scare when the villager vampire busts in on you at the villa pretending that he's being chased by something) that I'm interested in encountering some more of them (Vampire enemies) .

I'd be trapped in the world of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, in which case I'd probably be fucked (I'd either probably be monster food/dead within an hour then come back as a ghost or a zombie that's trapped in the castle and/or I some how manage to get turned into a vampire only to turn around and get completely f***ed up by both Jonathan & Charlotte)

When it comes to New Game + modes I typically like it when they offer more than a single extra incentive that can't be obtained in the first playthrough of the game such as special gear, costumes, weapons, secret boss fights, and secret endings to entice me to keep playing so if they do something like that I'd be down. Now here's one thing I'd like to see (but probably won't happen) that I think would be pretty interesting, which is to have it where after so many playthroughs (2 maybe 3 minimum) of the main story mode (including New Game + playthroughs) you would unlock the ability to create a special "Custom" Miriam using any/all gear, shards, weapons, & costumes that you've earned from those previous playthroughs and you can then use that "Custom" Miriam in the game's other modes such as Boss Rush or Speed Run Mode.

I backed at the $125 tier, though if I had the money I would have definitely have upgraded to the $300 tier. Still I'm super stoked to be a part of this project and can't wait to get my filthy mitts ( ) on this game soon.

Super Stoked about this game, can't wait to pop it into my Retron (which the game will supposedly be compatible with/support) Galamoth - The Kickstarter managed to hit the last stretch goal to port the game over to Steam & the Nintendo Switch so you won't need a Genesis or a Dreamcast to play this game.

Love that last hairdo w/sunglassess look (think that's the look I'm gonna try to give Miriam when I finally get my grubby little hands on this game ), even though it makes me think of Trinity from The Matrix trilogy

Technically this is more than one, but they are at least in the same vein so hopefully y'all won't hold that against me . Was also thinking of suggesting they make them tied to Nightmare mode (i.e. do this in Nightmare mode), but that might be a bit too hard to pull off. Whiplashed - Beat the game only using a whip (cannot use magic attacks) Sword Master - Beat the game only using a sword (cannot use magic attacks) Kung Fu Master - Beat the game only using your fists (cannot use magic attacks)

Thanks purifyweirdshard for the info, was curious cause earlier this year I had backed a Kickstarter game (a metroidvania style game called Sundered) where the PC beta code also turned out to be the same code as the digital PC copy and I didn't want to redeem the beta code if it also turned out to be the same as the digital PC code since I'm planning on giving my digital code to a friend who missed out on the game's Kickstarter campaign.

The last game I played was Friday the 13th: The Game and the game's protagonist are a bunch of teenage camp counselor stereo types....so I'm not too terribly screwed even if they do decide to team up and attack me

It's been a while since I last posted on here (well over a year) so I'm not gonna bore y'all with a long post talking about every single game I've played since my last post. Instead I'm gonna do a "highlight" list basically listing games I've enjoyed playing (for the most part) over the past year as well as what I'm currently playing
Xbox One - Bioshock Collection, Friday the 13th: The Game, Sonic Mania, Battlefield 1, and Wolfenstien II: The New Colossus (Currently Playing) PS4/Vita - Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy XV, Sundered, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, The Evil Within 2, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Madden 18,Night Trap 25th Anniversary, Yakuza Kiwami (my first Yakuza game which was kinda wild), CoD: Infinite Warfare, , Soldner X-2 (Vita), Horizon: Zero Dawn (Currently Playing) and Corpse Party: Blood Drive (Vita/ still slowly playing through this one) Wii U/3DS - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Tokyo Mirage Sessions (I need to get back into this game and finish it), Sonic 2 3D, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Corpse Party, Fatal Frame V: Maiden of Black Water (Wii U/ Currently Playing....slowly), and Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS/Currently Playing) PC/Steam - Dead by Daylight, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, Shadow Warrior, and Phantom Halls

I recently changed my survey response for the digital version of the game from Xbox One to PC & Beta and I was curious if the PC Beta code (when/if it gets sent out) would also act as the PC code or if it will be a separate PC Beta code and a separate PC code?

Wasn't planning on speed running the demo (cause I typically suck at speed running) let alone post a video of me trying to do one, but I recently got a new graphics card and found out it has a feature (which wasn't available with my previous graphics card) that lets me record/upload gameplay videos through Play.tv as well as do Twitch broadcasts so I figured what the hell. So without further ado here is my (imo poorly done) attempt to speed run the Bloodstained E3 demo.

It's been a while since my last (Early Feb I think) so I thought I should drop in and give an update on what I've been playing and what I'm currently playing. Since my last post I've played a lot of MK X & Killer Instinct (cause of the release of MK XL DLC Pack & KI Season 3 Ultra Edition), started & finished Quantum Break (it was kinda meh), started & finished LoZ: Twilight Princess Picross (got it free through My Nintendo and for my first Picross game it wasn't too bad), started & nearly finished AVGN 2 (I'm working my way up the final tower), and played about 20 + hrs of Street Fighter V.
I've also in the past couple of months started playthroughs of Project Scissors: NightCry (I got about halfway through Ch.1 and essentially stopped due to the imo crappy controls, plan on picking it back up once they come out with a couple of patches to fix it or a fan mod is released that fixes the issue as well as adds 360/PS controller support), Star Wars Battlefront (I wish it had more content than it currently has and that the season pass was even cheaper.....like $15 cheap), Corpse Party: Blood Drive Everlasting Edition (I got it new/sealed about a month ago along with a PSTV and a 4 GB memory card for about $55 so I've been slowly playing that and by slowly I mean I'm only halfway through Ch.1 cause damn those cutscenes/story bits are a bit length....not MGS 4 long mind you ..not yet at least......but they're still pretty long), LoZ: Twilight Princess HD, and Dark Souls 3.

If you had the game on Xbox 360, you can now instantly download & play it on your Xbox One. If you didn't get it on the Xbox 360 no worries you can now purchase that version on the Xbox One (though at the moment you will need to do a search on the store as it's currently not being displayed in the BC games category) through the Xbox Store

Recently finished playing Life is Strange (I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it as I'm typically not a fan of "point & click" style "adventure" games, but this one was pretty awesome and has me interested in checking out some of the ones from TellTale Games such as The Walking Dead and the upcoming Batman game) for Xbox One, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round for Xbox One (it was kinda meh, no where near as good as MKX or Killer Instinct), and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood for Xbox One (it was a decent puzzle platformer, but it's story didn't wow me) as for what I'm playing now. Well I recently got the NightCry Alpha build since I had backed the game through it's Kickstarter last year and have so far only played a couple of minutes of it (it's got a old school ps1 Resident Evil meets "point & click" game vib) but I plan to play it some more later tonight, I also have been playing some Limbo (the Xbox 360 version) after discovering it was backwards compatible on Xbox One if you had the physical Xbox 360 disc for the XBLA Triple Pack and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Recently Finished Games: Assassin's Creed Syndicate (it was "Awesome"), Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (damn this game was harder than I remember it being then again having the R button on my 3DS go out didn't help things), and Battlefield Hardline (it was meh)

After seeing the Smash direct, I decided to pick up the Bayo bundle for Wii U. I've found it a bit a drudge to get through so far. I understand why it's considered a good game, I just haven't been enjoying it. The first game was that way (a drudge to get through) for me (especially the last half of the game) when I first played it a few years ago where as the second one was (for the most part) the exact opposite imo.

I'd definitely be interested in some tips & strategies cause I need to do a sh!t ton of grinding so I can finally beat that one "final" boss and even though I was not a fan of the first game's repetitiveness I'm also looking forward to the sequel, hopefully we'll get some more info on the game before this year's E3. The quickest and easiest way to grind to 99 (and all jobs to 14) is after any of your characters hit level 73. If you still need to get to level 73, an easy way is to just hit boss after boss. Grab up the ability Obliterate from Conjurer (you can add me for this ability if you need). Equip it on your level 73 character and go to the dungeon west of Florem, and go to the deepest part of the dungeon that still has random encounters. Pump up that encounter rate to maximum and watch as everything gets maxed. If you aren't level 73 yet and have ran out of bosses to fight, then you can probably still grind a bit here until you hit 73. Obliterate automatically kills all minor enemies that are at least 20 levels lower than you are. There is an attack that is similar to this, but the usage of that attack will negate all rewards afterwards, while Obliterate will keep them. To make it even faster you'd equip Growth Egg bought from Norende. With the growth egg you'll consistently gain JP over 800, and the lowest you'll ever get is over 400. The experience points are also great and you'll hit 99 before you max out all your jobs. I took on the final boss at 99 so I don't know how hard it is at around level 70 or so. One of the best methods of attack though, is to equip Maximize HP (from Spiritmaster), and use Dark Knight's Minus Strike attack. Maximize HP doubles your HP count but only in battle and it does NOT recover your HP to that point, so essentially at full health when entering battle you'll actually be at 50% health, which is actually a good thing. Minus Strike deals damage equal to the amount of HP you're missing, and ignores defense and low leverage. So basically if you want, give 3 of your guys Minus Strike and Maximize HP. Just 4x Minus Strike ever turn with all 3 of them, but make sure one of them has Low Leverage to use, just to increase your survival rate. Your 4th guy should probably be a Freelancer/Performer. The strategy here is to completely break the game. Use My Hero and Mimic 3x. My Hero increases everyone's BP by 1 (including the user), but costs 2 BP. Low Leverage will reduce the cost to 1, and Mimic will negate the cost entirely. With Low Leverage you can use this setup on every turn, letting your team Brave 4x every turn with no downtime. All but one of my characters are level 63 (the one that isn't is just one level behind the others at 62) with 5 of the "optional" bosses left also none of my characters have the Conjurer job available so I guess I gotta bit of grinding to do.
