Something I've been curious is if having all of these players and options, while good for replay value, would make the game experience feel less consequential and less focused. I don't know one way or another, just throwing it out there. I've heard conflicting opinions on this, but based on what I've played of the game so far I'm gonna say no cause Stage 5 alone feels like parts of it were specifically designed for certain characters and if you didn't use them (or don't use them the right way) for that section you essentially got boned really hard as I found out for myself and based on what I've heard about/read in reviews for the game two of the game's unlockable episodes have a slightly different focus than the first episode.

I'm roughly halfway through my first playthrough of the game on the Switch (I'm currently in Episode 1 Stage 6, on veteran difficulty) and so far I've got mixed feelings about the game after spending about 3 hours with it. I've mainly been playing in handheld mode so that (and maybe some rust since it's been a while since I played a classic CV style game) might have a little something to do with why I have mixed feelings (so far), though I can say that there is (so far) at least one stage that I absolutely hate. Which is stage 5 (it seriously can go f**k itself) cause it kept f***ing me up real good (complete with some, IMO, really cheap hits that I couldn't dodge no matter how hard I tried) and after at least 3 continues (w/4 lives for each continues and each continue requiring me to restart the stage from the very beginning) I (somehow) managed to get through it by pulling a victory against the stage boss (who was at full health) out of my @$$ despite going into it with just Zangetsu at less than half health, the shield power-up w/about half magic, and no lives left.

Nintendo just posted a store page for Bloodstained: CotM 2 which reveals a July 10th release date, a $14.99 price tag, and confirms 2 player local Co-Op as well as the (apparent) return of Alfred, Gebel, & Miriam as playable characters. If you're interested you can see the page/listing here
Update: IntiCreates has released a new trailer for CotM 2 which starts like the original announce trailer, but after introducing the new characters goes on to confirm the return of Alfred, Gebel, & Miriam as well as the July 10th release date.

look at the "1P" at the top of the screen below the character portraits. Is this a hint at multiplayer? Also i would like to know if Limited Run Games will release a Limited Edition again, so i don't buy it twice. It sure looks like it, I was looking at the screenshots on the official website after you mentioned it and noticed that right under the 1P you mentioned that it says 2P Push Start

Holy crap that's huge, didn't hear about it until now. Will have to spread the word Yeah, only reason I found out was because I happen to follow both Brave Wave (who has released a couple of classic video game soundtracks I enjoyed on CD & Vinyl, namely the "definitive" soundtracks for Street Fighter II & the Ninja Gaiden NES trilogy) and Bloodstained's official twitter page (which Brave Wave linked to in their announcement tweet so it ended up popping up in my feed twice)

ArtPlay & Brave Wave Productions have just announced that later this year they are going to release a 4 disc vinyl LP version of Bloodstained: RotN's soundtrack later this year. Pre-Orders for the vinyl version of the soundtrack will open up next month (February) and there will be 2 versions of the 4 LP release. A standard edition on 150g black vinyl ($80) and a signed limited edition on 150g colored( Gold, Silver, Black and Pink) vinyl ($100, contains standard edition plus a A4-sized mini poster signed by Koji Igarashi and Michiru Yamane) which will be sold exclusively through Limited Run Games for the US and at BigWax.IO for Europe/the Rest of the World.

At the moment I only have 3 real questions (see below), but if I think of anything else I'd like to know I'll update this post.
1. Once all the backer funded DLC/Stretch Goals have been completed will there be any chance for additional story-focused DLC expansion (telling the stories of either Dominique & Zangetsu or a post game story involving Miriam & Johanness) to be made? Or will IGA and ArtPlay move on to focusing on making Bloodstained 2 instead? 2. Is there an eta/roadmap for when we will see the rest of the backer funded DLC/Stretch Goals? 3. Lately, I've been watching a few Making of/Behind the Scenes documentaries and watched a few video game focused ones (the Making of Silent Hill 2 and Developer Diaries for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice) so it's got me wondering if it was possible for there to be one made/released for both Bloodstained (RotN & CotM) games?

LeoLeWolferoux 1. If you go to your Fangamer survey you'll find your code for it under Downloads & Download Codes. 2. There's apparently an update/patch coming for PS4 (which was supposed to be out last month), but they don't know exactly when it'll get pushed out by Sony 3. At the moment they are shipping out the physical goodies for the Alchemist Treasure & Dark Grimoire tiers in batches and according to the latest update they plan to start shipping the physical goodies for the Collector's Box tiers once the AT & DG tiers have finished shipping.

I honestly don't know where to begin when talking about this campaign or why anyone on here should even be interested in/care about this campaign to begin with so I guess I'll just give y'all the long n short of it. Basically over 6,000 backers for the Evil Dead 2 board game (as well as backers from 2 other campaigns by the same company, Space Goat Productions) got screwed over by SGP (the campaign creator) and were left high n dry by the company with nothing to show as well as no real idea as to what really happened to the more than a million dollars (total) that was raised by all 3 campaigns. Flash forward to last Oct (2018) when Jasco games along with Lynnvander games studio & The Evil Dead Rights group announced that they have teamed up to resurrect the Evil Dead 2 board game and plan to launch the first ever "heartthrob" Kickstarter campaign in 2019 which if successful would get backers of the original campaign as well as any new backer a copy of the game. Well the campaign is now live with a all in goal of $195,000 and (as of right now) 21 day period in which to raise the funds, so far they've raised $45,000. If you are interested in backing the Kickstarter you can do so here and even if you have no interest in backing please try to spread the word about this Kickstarter as it aims to get the people who got screwed over by SGP the game they backed 3 years ago. Also for the curious the people behind this have announced that there will be no stretch goals for this game and that they are only offering 1 add on for this campaign in the form of a graphic novel adaptation of the Evil Dead 2 movie.

I've beaten the game twice so far, first on Normal difficulty and then followed by a NG + playthrough on Hard difficulty. By the time I finished my NG + Hard Difficulty playthrough I had gotten the game's Platinum trophy as well as all the (at the time) possible Boss Medals.

At the moment I'm currently 40+ hrs deep into Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but prior to that I had beaten Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (which I also obtained the Platinum Trophy for on PS4) Halo 5 (Xbox One), and Batman: Arkham Asylum Remastered (PS4).

I just recently finished listening to the soundtracks for Bride of Re-Animator and Drag Me To Hell, overall I think I prefer the soundtrack for Drag Me To Hell over Bride of Re-Animator.
