lovelydumpling - I found out how, you can get to it by using Gebel's bat transformation where the waterfall begins (as long as you didn't freeze the water with Alfred's Ice Spell), as for the Charged Slash ah ok that explains it XombieMike - Thanks for pointing this out! alucardx60 - Nice job on the maps!

This is pretty exciting! But he's missing some rooms on Moonlight Temptation. Once you enter the train, you can destroy the door to the left with Zagnetsu's charge slash or Miriam's Axe. This gets you into as storage room and a staircase leading up on the train, where you can go through a few of those hammer throwing armored enemies that are usually not found till later. There's even a Lightning Spell up there somewhere if I remember correctly.
Dude you're right! I didn't even notice that there was a heavy duty door right there at the start of the train. Also I had no clue that Zangetsu even had a charged attack move (I guess I missed the hint sign for that one when I went for the bad ending so I could unlock Ultimate Mode ) or that it (along with Miriam's Axe sub weapon) could be used to open those heavy duty doors (I'd been wondering how to open those f***ers up in one of the later stages, now I know )
Edit: I also just noticed a few issues with the Frigid Hell map mainly that there are a number of rooms that don't line up and there's also like a whole section near the bottom of the map where it doesn't seem to show how to get down there (unless I'm an idiot who's reading it wrong )

Yeah the guy who did these imo did a pretty good job on them so much so that they remind me of the foldout maps you'd find in Nintendo Power back in the NES days (somewhere I still have the one for CV III Dracula's Curse)

I'm on a New 3DS XL and I noticed quite a bit of slow down during sections of the final stage ( specifically the parts involving being chased by the Swarm )

I'm not sure if anyone who reads this forum has the ability to answer this question, but here goes just in case... 1. Will the OST include Curse of the Moon? 2. Will it be offered in a lossless format (preferably FLAC)? Thanks. 1. From my understanding (gleaned from IntiCreates Curse of the Moon stream & posts here on the forum in other threads) no it won't be included with the RotN OST as it's considered a different game and the game's developer (IntiCreates) isn't involved with the production of RotN (the main game)

We are almost there, Thursday is just a few days off now. So my question to you is how will you play the games, will you rush through or slow down to enjoy it, what platform are you playing it on, and what do you think the story will be(beyond the general information we already have.) I plan on taking my time with the game the first time through, but once I finish it I'm gonna try to do solo runs (which I'm hoping will be possible once you've beaten the game at least once) with each of the game's characters (so I'd do like a Zengetsu only run, a Miriam only run, a Alfred only run, & a Gebel only run) and then if there are any unlockable modes (like a boss rush mode), etc. I'll try unlocking & playing through them last. As for the platform I'll be playing it on, well it will be the Nintendo 3DS mainly because I was hoping they'd do some cool 3D effects for that version of the game (which I found out may not be the case ) and given the game's inspiration I felt it was appropriate to play it on a Nintendo system. Now story wise I have no idea what it's gonna be and I've generally tried to stay away from story discussions/predictions as I want to try going in essentially as blind as possible.

tav7623 off topic, but I'm kinda envious for those vinyls in their split limited (well, MORE limited) versions. I didn't know of the operation until recently and ordering the variants directly from Mondo (the few ones which weren't completely sold out) would habe been ungodly expensive for me (because I live in Italy). Luckily I have managed to snatch CV2 and 3 for a reasonable prince, but I had to settle on the regular black vinyl. I'll get the other two for sure, but even in that case I'll probably get the regular versions. Well the only reason I have the splits for the first 2 games is in part because I knew they were gonna be coming out (I had started to get into vinyl a few years back just when they had announced they were gonna be releasing these game's soundtracks on vinyl) and the rest of it was luck (with the first one I managed to get it on ebay for about $50 the day that that particular SDCC had ended, though since I didn't know if I was gonna actually win that auction or not I decided to as a pre-caution order one that was standard black, which I still have to this day and it's still sealed). In the case of CV 2's split I happened to be on Facebook when I saw this new post from someone in this vinyl group I was a member saying that Mondo had it up for sale as part of a surprise early release. As for the other 2 I was also able to hop online to snag them when they went on sale and while I could have gone with the splatter variants (which I honestly prefer splatter over splits anyway) I opted to go with the split versions because I had managed to get the splits for the first 2. Also while I'm thinking of it have you checked out Discogs? reason I ask is that they allow their users (who are from all over the world) to sell their records through the site and while I was doing some research on the site(I'm currently thinking of selling a few of the records I don't listen to too often and are currently just collecting dust such as the sealed standard black CV 1, so I could have a little bit of spending money for a trip I'm taking in July) I recall seeing that there are a few of the split variants being up for sale (I believe one guy in England asking £29 for a sealed CV IV Bronze/Gold split and a guy in Spain was wanting €40 for a sealed CV 2 Day/Night split variant) so that may be something worth checking out if you haven't already.

roguedragon05 - as far as a separate thing I agree (though for a slightly different reason) that sadly they probably won't do a release for CotM's soundtrack which is why I'm hoping it would be included with the copy of RotN's soundtrack that backers are suppose to get freddythemonkey - I agree that it probably would be too small to justify the effort, but given that Mondo & Konami went through the trouble of doing a vinyl release (which a lot of game soundtracks have been getting lately) of the first four Castlevania game's soundtracks I feel that there may be a very small glimmer of hope that should CotM's soundtrack not be included with RotN's they could somewhere down the road decide to do something similar. That operation was a godsend for a vinyl junkie like me lol I can see your reasoning but I don't think it's applicable to the situation, because Mondo is a company specialized in some very specific niches and usually these kinds of operation are destined to particularly important/vintage/historical games. For example, even if IMO it has the best soundtrack in the series I would never expect Curse of Darkness to be graced by such an operation because it's still not enough "retro" to be considered vintage like the NES vanias (and to an extent SCV4) nor historical like SotN. Curse of the Moon, being a spin off of a game that yes, is made by IGA but still has to come out/establish itself is a hundred times more improbable of an operation. But maybe my pessimistic assumptions will prove wrong in the end - the easiest way would to use only 8-bit versions of Bloodstained tracks, so that they can fit nicely in Ritual's soundtrack (hopefully even as a bonus CD). Yeah I know (I have all 4 of them, all of which are the split variants including the CV 1 SDCC exclusive Red/Grey split & the CV 2 3 hr web exclusive Day/Night split), I was just using Mondo's CV 1 release (which only had the NES version of the soundtrack and not both the NES & the Famicom versions like their CV 2 & 3 releases had) as an example (I honestly don't think they, inti creates, will do a CotM vinyl release no matter how popular the game gets, but I could see them possibly doing it as a digital download or a bonus CD) since it's a fairly short soundtrack (if I remember correctly it's less than 15 mins long) and I feel Curse of the Moon's soundtrack would probably (unless they went full on Shovel Knight with the game's soundtrack) be in the same ballpark. Also I feel that a game's soundtrack being old/retro or having some historical importance doesn't really matter (in the grand scheme of things) when it comes to deciding which game gets a vinyl release because I've seen vinyl releases for games like Steamworld Dig (which, by the way, was put out by Fangamer who if I remember correctly are also the ones doing the backer fulfillment for Bloodstained), Undertale, Thimbleweed Park, What Remains of Edith Fitch & Warframe just to name a few.

1. No clue 2.I'm fine with it 3. Not really, I'm fine with the current roster 4. I'm fine with it 5. nope 6.I think it'll have a loose connection (outside of the characters, setting, & some boss characters/enemies) to the main game 7. From what (little) I understand it's apparently as dead as the Wii U version of Bloodstained ........ Now I'd like to add a question 8. Will the soundtrack for Curse of the Moon also be included with both the digital & physical versions of the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night soundtrack that backers (depending on tier) are suppose to be receiving with their game or will it be getting it's own separate release?

tav7623 It has been discussed on social medias, the short answer is: We do not k Ah ok, so it's back to the waiting game ;P Don't know if this has been asked or not, but does anyone know if this is gonna get a physical release down the road? I’ve tried to get an answer for this question, as well. Would love for Fangamer to do a vita release, as they’ve done with Undertale, and if they need someone to publish it outside of NA there’re lots of awesome publishers to do it. East Asia Soft comes to mind... or Strictly Limited Games. Considering these two publishers, there would be no ESRB/PEGI/CERO rating on the cover as well. I'd also be down for a physical Vita release as long as it was PSTV compatible (I'm getting the digital version of the game for the 3Ds and giving my spare code to a friend who's unable to back the game) and I'd definitely be down to double/triple dip if either FanGamer or Limited Run Games did it. Now the only other question I have (well technically 2 questions) is will the soundtrack for this game also be included with the Bloodstained: RotN OST that the $60 + tier backers are supposed to get? and if so will it also be included on the CD version that the $100+ tier backers?

Since my last post I've played some CoD WW2 (PS4), some Shinobi PS2 (got to the 3rd/4th stage), some Evil Dead Regeneration (PS2), some Wrestlemania 2000 (N64), some WWE 2K16 (Xbox One), some Friday the 13th: The Game (Xbox One), some God of War Saga (played some OG GoW, some Ghost of Sparta & some Chains of Olympus), some Hidden Agenda (PS4), and a hell of a whole lot of Yakuza 6 (I actually Platinumed the game, making it the first game in almost 4 years that I've Platinumed).

I haven't played xenoblade chronicles 2 so I don't kn ow if I would like or hate rex. But just from the pictures... Visually that kid doesn't match the rest of the cast. And I don't mean cuz he's male. Just... he's such a derpy looking kid, and everyone else are super models. it's weird. I know what you mean... but the point of Rex looking sooo different is... he is not a warrior, he is just a salvager that found himself in this situation. I personally hate it when people are supposed to be a "normal" kid/person/worker/average joe... but he fits in with warriors perfectly. I know it throws off the esthetics, but it keeps it a bit more realistic IMO... But again I know what you mean, he really doesn't fit with the cast of warriors lol... Oh and tav7623 you kinda cheated with all the ties hahah... Yeah sorry about that it's just when I wrote my list I couldn't decide on one game for those (14) questions cause there were so many games for each question that kept popping into my head that I felt belonged, but I'm probably gonna end up revising it here shortly (now that I've kinda slept on it) so their won't be as many ties.

1. Favorite Game - Tie between CV: SotN, REmake, SSX 3, Streets of Rage 2, SM3DW, Parasite Eve, MGS, Sonic Mania, Batman: AC, Tekken Tag Tournament, Red Dead Redemption, Zelda: AlttP, Bayonetta 2, & Zelda: BotW 2. Worst Game - Zombeer 3. On the Wishlist - Spiderman PS4, God of War PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Yakuza 0 & 6 4.Worst Franchise - Bubsy 5. Most Disappointing Sequel - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 6. Favorite Console - Tie between PS2, Wii U, 3DS, & PS4 7. Favorite Protagonist - Tie between Lara Croft, Nathan Drake, Mario, Sonic, Solid Snake, Bayonetta & Kiryu Kazuma 8. Worst Protagonist - Bubsy 9. First Console - NES Action Set 10. Guilty Pleasure Game - Friday the 13th: The Game 11. Latest Game Purchase - Shinobi (PS2), Wrestlemania 2000 (N64), & Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight (LRG/PS4) 12. Favorite Genre - Tie between Platformers, Survival Horror, Action, Fighting, & FPS 13. Saddest Scene - The ending of Final Fantasy XV (Note: before you jump on me just know I don't play too many RPG's/JRPG's and that this game was one of the few JRPG's that I've actually beaten let alone one of the few games overall that I've played to date that had a singular moment that genuinely made me sad) 14. Best Antagonist - Liquid Snake from MGS 15. Worst Antagonist - Hugo Strange from Batman: Arkham City (great game, idiotic & disappointing use of this villain) 16. What are you playing now - Currently alternating between CoD: WW2 (PS4), Shinobi (PS2), Hey Pikmin! (3DS), & Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE# (Wii U) 17. Favorite Franchise - Tie between Castlevania, Tomb Raider, MGS, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Mario, GTA, Uncharted, LoZ, & Tekken 18. Favorite Couple - Nathan Drake & Elana Fisher 24. Worst Couple - Mario & Peach (mainly because every time Mario turns his back Peach is somehow getting her ass kidnapped) 25. Most Valuable Games - Tomba (loose), Devil's Third (Sealed), Soldner X-2 (Complete/LRG/PS4), The Last Story LE (Sealed), Castlevania Chronicles (CIB) 26. Latest Console - SNES Mini Classic Edition 27. Best Voice Acting - Uncharted Series 28. Most Annoying Character - Raiden from MGS 2 30. Worst Console - Of the consoles I've owned the Game Gear would hands down have to be the worst (most games I played on the system were crap & it drained batteries like no ones business) 31. Most Played Game - I have no clue, been playing games for so long (since 1988) that it's kind of hard to remember what game I've played the most of.
