I think I'm gonna have to buy a Switch yeah you should totally get a switch... had mine since launch day and I never regretted it! ...and plus just think about it, Bloodstained on the go!!! oh and I am not one of those nintedo only fanboys haha... I have a ps4, xbox one and pc too (and bought bloodstained on all those platforms too) but I think I will be playing on my switch more, it's just too convenient. I love how this trailer revitalized the hype on this game I can't stop smiling haha

WOW... I love all this hype Pure Miriam love your breakdowns! it just adds to the hype I just can't wait for this game. I have a feeling it will take months or longer for us to find everything in this game hahahah just thinking about it makes sO FREAKING AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yeah, I exploded...I need to gather myself hahah hype overload)
Oh and Mana I know you have a ton of this... but your art doubles- even tripples the hype for this game! So, thank you its so awesome! And I would love to thank IGA, his development team, Question, 505 games and anyone else I forgot (or in my old age, can't remember) for this game. It is looking to be a fine successor to the castlevanias craved for years...

Awesome... it would have been nice to have an "M" rating but most Castlevanias have been T ratings, so I'm good with this... and hopefully we will be playing this game very soon! So hyped!!! (yes, I'm still hyped)

I know I said delayed but really they did not give us a release date... so... yeah... It seems Nintendo has scrapped what they have done with Metroid and will be starting over with RetroStudio's help. for more information check the video below.
I know it sucks but not many big studios actually apologies for a delayed game or even tell us if there's something wrong with development... and because of that I highly respect Nintendo for this move.

yes, I agree, the shadows behind the wall look horrible I just hope this is not a permanent thing... but seeing it this demo I am not as hopeful as I was before... I don't know why but it somehow looks tacky to me.
There should have been a poll to show how many people find this shadow a blemish on an otherwise awesome looking game.

I also don't think Johannes is a bad guy... I think he is as "informed" as Miriam is. Dominique is also suspect to me... I think she is the real bad guy... in the past, we have had only males turn evil... what if Dominique is the mastermind, she was the church contact... what if she was the one that wanted both shardbearers there at the same time.
Oh and to me, Alfred has to be a good guy... he was not mean to be mean... everything he said sounded like someone who cares for their children putting themselves in a very bad situation... but again that's just my opinion

I think it her voice is ok but I think her volume should be lowered so it is not as grating... so, in short, I agree with Overlord and simon to make it sound more in the background... I personally think this "problem" is due to Miriam's voice being so high... which is fine but her higher pitch sound can get annoying

It would be nice to see an indication you are killing the monsters you are meant to kill... maybe a kill counter that counts down every time you kill the right monster... and when you are taking the quest, there should be a picture of the monster or a drawing... make it like a wanted poster or something.

personally, I hate that there is no music... I hope its only because it's a beta demo... I find myself not wanting to go to the village because there is not sound... as many said, if there were background noises it would be more bearable... but pure silence to me is a bit too unnerving where as I said I just rather avoid the village... its not that its creepy its just too much silence...
Every time I play I cringe at having to go to the village... I mean it would be ok if the first run through was silent but not all the time... but again that is just my opinion...

Yeah, I was worried about that too... I made a thread about it too if you want to check it out... but it basically said: the reason I did not like the weapon system in DoS was that all the weapons there had the same power moves EVERY weapon could do a power move so when you find one that did something special... it was diminished because of the all it was the same thing but with special effects... I don't mind if they had a hand full of weapons that did special attacks... maybe 25% of them were did special moves and only 2-1% did something special... I want to have that feeling of "finding" something special. that was the essence of SotN to me. Just please don't make ALL the weapons have a "power move"... that will just be sad...
I just hope these moves were in here just to show there are on the game... and not to say that all the moves will be generic and there will be one move set for every weapon type...

yeah, I know what you mean about that Dominique part she does nothing to deserve praise in that cutscene... unless they are talking about past deeds or something... or there is a scene missing that will be in the final game... let's hope its something like that.
and about the kid, I was thinking her acting might get better as the game progresses... I understand the accent, these are lower "present" uneducated people and yes that is how they sound but it is grating to the ears... I just hope she sounds better later in the game

well my life was about a 3rd to half depleted my mana was at 80... it was early in the game. I was killing a dullahan. it only happened for a few seconds... Oh and it was the first save point. that is all I can remember... sorry

yes!!! I knew we were on the same page Pure but the funny thing is most weapons in SotN weren't all that special they basically did the same thing lol except for a few of them lol but That was what made them so special to collect... there were weapons that had "normal special powers" then there was those that shoot monsters out of them hahah... man so cool!!!
so I beg you Iga-sama and developers consider making button inputs rare

Please don't let there be one button input for all weapons... I don't care if most weapons don't have them but having a generic button input will suck big time the point of the weapons that did have them in SotN was those weapons were special and it was always a surprise to find them in the game. you get a new weapon then you try out a button input and you are surprised when it worked...
As far as I can tell all boots do the same thing even when she is wearing no boots... I know it is a lot to ask for but please don't let this be true... that is what made Dawn of Sorrow's weapon system boring... all the weapons had a power move... sure there were some weapons that did something different but when you did find it it was novel at best because it still followed the basic move set of all that type of weapon. so adding a skull animation did not make the weapon better...
