I'm the same I still haven't received my physical ps4 copy and no shipping confirmation emails or anything of the sort. At this point in time that is F*CKING ridiculous of this company to not have sent you a physical copy. I suggest you hook up with fangamer on twitter if you haven't already done so. They do reply. I have and they still haven't replied.

No, everything is confirmed and I even paid the extra $45 they asked for tracked shipping. Of course now the shipment has been split up but I always responded to their emails asking me to confirm details.

Sweden here, I got an e-mail with a non-working tracking code on the 14th, but it finally showed up on the 24th.
I know a bunch of others that had about the same experience with games arriving "late", but if you haven't even got a shipping notification at this point, I would think it's time to contact Fangamer.
Do you have anything on the Shipping page of your backer survey?
Thanks for some feedback I also expected it to come later than when the US backers got it but with no shipping confirmation I'm going at this blind. I contacted fangamer today, they will probably take some time to see my email and reply to me. I didn't check the backer survey to be honest but I did get the digital code for the switch, which I regret since it's so buggy. If I got it digitally for ps4 too I would have been playing now. I haven't bought a switch yet so I couldn't even try if I wanted to.

I have no idea on what date 505/fangamer shipped physical copies in territories outside North America (I didn't get any shipping confirmation) but it's been 10 days since release and still nothing. I'll admit I'm only asking this because I can't contain my excitement and I finally want to get the game in my hands since everyone else has it. I live in Cyprus btw.

I'm the opposite, I didn't play Dragon's Crown because I learnt it's more of a beat em up but Muramasa Rebirth and Odin Sphere PS4 are top class 2D games, hd stylish 2d sprites, cool lore and stories and awesome gameplay. I'd easily recommend them to people that love Igavania games. In fact I found them out when I was searching for Igavania games when the drought happened and we had nothing. I'll have to try out Muramasa Rebirth at some point, it does look pretty good. Just wish it had co-op. It's a completely single player game at heart. Last I checked you can easily download for less than £5 on the ps store and the dlc is awesome and cheap. It's only on vita though and the more bare bones version on the wii. I'm hoping they release it on ps4 at some point, I'd love to play that on the big screen all over again. Odin Sphere is on ps4 though and it's just as good and better in many regards too.

I have to say I'm surprised to hear this, I mean I had some major issues with the campaign but the one thing I never had doubts on was the quality of the game. I haven'r received mine yet like you guys in the US but from what I've heard and seen from some youtubers the game delivered and even exceeded expectations. And the dlc hasn't even arrived yet. I've heard about some bugs and that greatly annoys me after all this time unless they're like SOTN and minor for the most part but the general feedback seems to be the game is very good. Given the large amounts of dlc, collector's merchandise not ready and bugs I still think they should have taken the few more months they needed but I guess they chose not to.

Well, I have to admit after you play muramasa rebirth and odin sphere it does feel like there is a lot less action when you play igavania games again. I absolutely loved the Odin Sphere remake on PS4, in my mind Bloodstained will basically be competing against it when it comes to modern top class 2D games. Vanillaware games are great for what they are, but they scratch a different itch for me as they're basically beat-em-ups. I haven't played those ones, but I frequently revisit Dragon's Crown, I actually just finished Normal mode with the Elf. I just finished looking at some videos for Odin Sphere on PS4...to me it looks like the game is very different from Igavania type games. Trust me it's metroidvania, it won't have the rpg elements of games like aria and dawn of sorrow, order of ecclesia etc. but you still have many special moves and you travel through maps side scroller style. When I was looking for quality stylish 2d games in that igavania style muramasa rebirth was fantastic and then I learnt of odin sphere from the same developer.

The "don't release by date" I was referring too is in reference to the revue itself not the game, when a company gives out copies for review purposes they will ask that the review not come out until a specific date. That maybe before or after the games release date. Yeah, I just wanted to see some reviews as an appetizer without too much spoiling. It will probably be a few more weeks before mine arrives in Cyprus.

saberwolf94 I think it was gamespot. Someone who played the E3 demo last year was gripping the game, complaining about the visuals, (which may have been valid), but also the lack of combos and stuff like that. Well, I have to admit after you play muramasa rebirth and odin sphere it does feel like there is a lot less action when you play igavania games again. A lack of early reviews can send a bad signal to potential buyers. Sometimes it's a red-flag that a game's in a bad state upn release. Maybe they didn't have time, or figured most "professional" reviews wouldn't understand the genre like that guy from gamespot last year. A guy from gamespot last year?

saberwolf94 Either they don't have it, or they are respecting the don't release by date. Most major places respect those sort of rules cause there's no real advantage to them to betray that trust in the long run. We're talking about reviews here, major review sites usually have video reviews a few days or at least a day before the game is officially out. As a backer I'm getting the game anyway I just wanted to see some reviews for the heck of it, out of curiosity.

What I'm surprised about is that there aren't any reviews up yet from major guys like IGN, Gamespot or anyone else for that matter. Normally at least something should be up since it's only a day before release.

Despite this being a bumpy ride, I too want to say thank you to IGA and the actual developing staff (programmers, artists, directors etc) as I know they don't get appreciated as much as they deserve for many works in games not just this one. As for the Epic Store, we dodn't even know if Epic even offered an exclusivity deal to 505, or at least I don't.

First of all thank you for translating this. We finally know the truth about the vita now too. I suspected it was a hardware issue first and foremost. The discontinued support of the vita was just the sprinkles to the pudding.

5 or 6 GB patch? Man, that's not even going into all the other incoming dlc. I mean, I'll have enough storage on my PS4 but still, this is annoying. I remember completing, editing, and re-reading all 80 pages of my dissertation for my Master's (it ain't no thesis, but it's no walk in the damned park with a kid and a job) having it printed and bound... only to realize a better way to make every point and having to go back to the printers again.
They want a good product. Which would you be more pissed about? No patch and constant crashes, or care taken that takes a little time to make sure you enjoy the experience you have? Are we on a tight schedule for fun?
Perspective, folks. Perspective.
You have completely misunderstood me even assuming that I'm angry. I don't like your constant patronizing writing and your random example doesn't make any sense to me nor do I care.

As far as we know (which we were aware of this example), it's just this small store in Chinatown, New York City. Please be advised for all, this is passing on something from Angel-Corlux, the brand manager from the publisher - there is a very large "day zero" patch for RotN that is necessary for the game to be in its best playable and stable state, of about 5-6 gb. If you do acquire the game somehow with street date breaking retailers etc, it is advised you not play, review etc until the release patch is available for a true impression of the game experience. You all may recall the bug Iga was talking about in the last update from him. This would address that and similar things, mostly beyond what we know, with a content update that's about 1/4 of the launch size of the game. And yes, they are being dealt with by 505. 5 or 6 GB patch? Man, that's not even going into all the other incoming dlc. I mean, I'll have enough storage on my PS4 but still, this is annoying.

I always loved Lament of Innocence and Curse of Moon, even hoping IGA would make more 3D games like them, A 3D Castlevania with Shanoa would be a dream come true.
