They confirmed gamepad and pro controller which is all you really need. I guess it is possible they could add more but I don't really think its needed. I mean on the PS4 version I doubt they are going to go back and support PS2/PS3 controllers... its kind of redundant. I've already decided on getting Bloodstained for the PS4...but now I'm thinking I want the Wii-U version too. Do Gamecube controllers work with some Wii-U games? (I'm already planning on getting a Classic Controller) Not specifically outside of smash but there is a gamecube like controller you can buy that works on everything. hyperkinlab.com/procube/That's good to hear. I assume you're talking about the Wii U Pro controller but it's nice to know it will be compatible. I still have conflicted feelings though. If only there was just a single controller that was compatible with all games like the PS consoles. I would like to exploit the e shop on the Wii U there are many great games there but then no matter what you have to buy the Wii Classic Pro Controller because the Wii U one won't be compatible with those games. The way I see it unless you're happy with the Wii U game pad you have to get two more controllers no matter what.

A room for Miriam that can be decorated and act as living quarters is indeed a cool idea but I feel people are giving it too much focus and devotion in my humble opinion. This isn't a game like Animal Crossing (not sure if that's the one) but you know those games that are all about depth of home customization. However, a large majority of the room ideas listed for voting are very good.

If I could add something it would be scythes/sickles and for a new addition I would add a chain scythe/sickle like the one Ryou uses in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Of course it won't be as comprehensive but I imagine it should have a sort of round range per hit, like it has range on the direction you are pointing like most castlevania weapons but has damage range above your head and on the ground like when you duck and attack. For a catch they should make it slow like the Melio Falcis sickle weapon in Order of Ecclesia. That sort of catch.

Again, y'all call the shorts, I'm just a single dude/backer on the internet. I just felt I should offer my opinion As an aside, I mentioned it earlier, consider British VA if it at all makes sense/sounds interesting to you guys/isn't financially prohibitive.
Now that I think about it I hope they don't make them use British accents in the English version. Even if they're supposed to be in London I'd rather have just the north america/canada standard English accent am used to in other Castlavania games. It'd be a shame if they hire Crispin Freeman or Dave Wittenberg and they make them use a posh or cockney accent. We actually talked about this at work. Early English (18th century and earlier) sounded closer to contemporary American accent, or at least it sounded drastically different from the current British accent (Queen's English). Either way it would be historically inaccurate so we figured we should just stick with North American VAs (not exclusive). Thanks for your response that's good to hear.

It's one of the annoyances that comes with the Wii U. If they a standard Wii U controller that was compatible with everything like the tablet controller things would have been much simpler. Even the Wii U Pro Controller isn't a solution since it isn't compatible with all games and not at all with oldies from the e shop.

So when it comes to the physical copy I selected PS4 as my choice of console but honestly am still not sure if I want to get this game on the PS4 or Wii U. But I wonder if anyone knows if the Wii Classic Controller Pro will support this game. Not the Wii U Pro Controller just in case anyone gets confused.
Does anyone know?
I don't own any of the two consoles but I''l get one of the two in a few months for certain. I chose my Vita for the digital version that was a pretty easy choice.

If you ask me farming was better in the games that followed. Aria of Sorrow, Order of Ecclesia, Portrait of Ruin, Curse of Darkness and even Lament of Innocence to an extent made me want to farm a lot. SOTN never really made want to farm a lot because I never used over 60% of all the stuff in that game if not more. As for grinding I don't have a problem with it, maybe because of all the Pokemon training that I've done and still do

For Japanese: Hoko Kuwashima, Miyuki Sawashiro, Hitomi Nabatame, Shizuka Ito are some of my top picks.
For English: Michelle Ruff (Can't think of anyone else right now)
So basically I have Shanoa's English and Japanese voice straightly ripped off and a bunch of other good fits. J Michel Tatum fits Joannes nicely as well as Dave Wittenberg. Crispin Freeman is also like a staple in these games he should be the first guy that comes to mind for them to hire.

For me this is probably the last thing I would worry about for this game whether it meets the date or is delayed. Don't get me wrong sure if it gets delayed multiple times for long periods it will be annoying but if it gets delayed I don't know like five more months for everything to be right then am all for it. Of course it would suck if it gets delayed so much like Mighty 09 from what I heard it got delayed again but if it's for the sake of the game then we just have to deal with it.

Reading this I just thought of Rondo of Blood, maybe it's a good idea for them to add the final attack before they die thing when you kill them.

I also feel it was meh for some of the reasons you mentioned but for me it was more for things it lacked rather than the annoying stuff they implemented like quick time events, checkpoints in bosses etc. The simplest way for me to explain would be to just say they should have taken some notes from Lament of Innocence. The reason I say this is because the game just doesn't have any replay value AT ALL. Unless you get addicted to the combat or something, I never had any reason to replay the game. Especially considering they exploited 3 playable characters your combat options were pretty boring. Why couldn't there be some sort of shop like LoI at least? Why was exploration so bland and simple? The game basically tells you where the "secrets" are. It was pretty boring. It's too bad cuz it had potential for me.

Wow. I guess Im the only one who prefers shader 1/1. The other one makes Miriam look like a weird acid trip. And the blue outlines are kinda odd. Shader three on the background significantly brightens the environment, while the other shader has a nicer, more dynamic range with light and shadow. The third shader just looks too blown out to me. With that said, EVERYTHING looks so much better. And did I spot a blood fountain? Woah. That's pretty cool. You're not the only one mate, I think Background 1/Character 1 is the way to go too. Clicking on the pictures and comparing them side by side I can see why people would like Character 3 and Background 3; Character 3 seems more of a personal preference to me but when it comes to Background 3 I feel it's inferior to Background 1. By no means do they look bad they're actually very good it's just by comparison I feel like Background 1 looks nicer. I also think if I had to choose just one Character 1 is more fitting too.

Both are great it's just a matter of preference. For me I would prefer Battle Bosses more. 50/50 is too much puzzle for me something like 70/30 or 80/20 would be good.

Honestly I would like to meet more women that love Castlevania or have other similar interests to mine. Of course location matters a lot as well and mine right now is pretty wrong; but it's one of those realities you have to deal with sometimes. It doesn't have to be from the forums or any other specific place on the internet meeting like minded or cool people that you can hit it with is nice in general. It's so much better to talk about things in person or even from the phone rather than just the internet in written form.

I can't say there's any significant difference, I think it just has to do with the drawing perspectives and positions if that makes sense. Depending on the drawing the size can look varied sometimes. It happens in anime, sprite and concept art etc. If I wanted I could say the same thing about other female characters in Castlevania games and other franchises in general. Overall, her bust size is pretty standard. It won't be ridiculously massive but there is going to be a little more filling in her chest as they do with fictional female characters.

Personally I noticed this as soon as I saw Miriam which is why I was so happy as ****. In my opinion Castlevania OoE is very underrated I love that Castlevania game so much. Since I love Shanoa so much it's easy to relate the same feelings to Miriam. I don't know maybe it's the attractiveness of the quietness and reservedness of the character in addition of course to the design. Then again Shanoa's story was a nice tearjerker for me so there's that too. You really get the impression that Miriam will get a similar treatment.

I thought it might be a good idea to discuss desires of how we want to feel when traversing this castle or when we meet inhabitants ..etc. Basically, how do you want to feel when playing Bloodstained. I remember when I first played SOTN, everything about that game made me feel like it was a true vampire tale taking place in the 1700's. It just had a tone about the music, the visual style, the great animation work. You felt lifted completely into the game. Lament Of Innocence again, even though I wasn't the biggest fan of the 3d vanias had such a great tone that somehow felt true to it's time period. I don't know if this is a good topic but we seem to need something new to talk about so why not? What do you want to feel, what kind of tone do you hope they take with dialogue or encounters with monsters/bosses ...etc.. locations? I feel what you're saying on SOTN and Lament of Innocence. If only they tried to imrpove such a 3D Castlevania formula but I digress. I also want to feel that way when playing Bloodstained, to feel the time period though at the same time the dialogue in Order of Ecclesia and such games sometimes was out of place in a good way though and that's also pretty appealing. Like, the text in that game and Portrait of Ruin doesn't always reflect the time period so it gives an interesting perspective and I think it's cool.
