"Hey look, people at Discord were talking about Miriam body pillow." "Pft. Miriam? If we were to EVER consider one, it would be Morte or Dullahammer." said the ArtPlay team 2017. Okay, I will settle for a Miriam lap pillow then. Don't judge me. I won't judge you (I don't have the wish for it), but good luck with visitors, family and friends when they discover it in your house (better treasure it somewhere safe... maybe in a safe). Training time: I don't know how you would reply to "OMG! Where is the rest of her body!! I'll call the cops now!" and "Tell me, these tattoos are so beautiful, where are they from?" then "...a character from a videogame? Ahaha, funster you... You don't say*?" *Yep, I had to pull that one one day or another. Fate's cruel.

Eiji's been so ignored during the whole series that it pisses me off greatly.
He was in what, KoF 95 and its remake and that's all? Not even 98 or 2002 UM. Meh. Maybe he's too OP for SNK.

Oh, you made me think of a fun idea there, Astaroth.
Imagine there is a rather visible weak floor (that obviously is a unique passageway to a secret room or a minor shortcut. The only way to get through there would be to equip some heavy metallic ironwear (also doubling as strong armor) and walking on it/doing some little hop on it... maybe a downwards jump with a mace or boots could do it but... would it be fine?
Other ways would be denied, it's not like you should usually be able to crack walls with a whip or light spear normally... but yes, in CV games they gave in no matter what.
...There are also mechanics that seemingly have always been underused in videogames (or at least not much found in the games I played), such as wind coming from a part of a seemingly normal room without a window, smells, indented shapes that indicate a strong monster/boss nearby, etc.

A leak? Maybe it's just a hoax. You never are too sure about the Internet these days. Caution is recommended especially when hype is in the mix.

It wasn't? It's even more frustrating then... but such thoughts should never linger around. Even if they lacked professionalism there.

Next year will be the time for the real deal. They should have no excuses regarding this.
I must admit I was skeptical about a favorable result on a last-minute participation, but to receive that sort of poor treatment from them, shouldn't they feel more guilty/responsible when it comes to this?
Godspeed. Just don't overthink it, time can't be reversed after all. You did what you could do.

Poor Link, yet that was hilarious. I know it would have worked in the old games. This seriously shows how much you can't be cheap in your attacks anymore (though it certainly was a great idea! It's a superb warning to everyone) I guess that monsters were prepared to all sorts of attacks after all that time passed living around the ruins. I would certainly enjoy the game, as I enjoy more realistic approaches (yet nothing about hunger, other needs and time limits to complete dungeons). You really never know what's around, what you can grab or lose when exploring or fighting monsters. I could say that breakable weapons annoy me a tad, but there's aplenty of them, so...

well, unlike most dlc like ea/ubi cutting half the game and selling it back a few weeks after launch as dlc or re5 selling you a multiplayer mode as dlc THATS ON THE FUCKING DISK!..., this feels like content that probably never got further than "hey wouldnt it be cool if we did X? yeah but lets file that under to be used later" and under normal circumstances would go into the next game, and remember they waited until a bit after the game had gone gold to even announce it (that means the game is done, off to print, and now the dev team either gets downsized, parted off into new projects, or continues work on a day one patch or dlc) this is dlc done very well, they give you a little bonus thank you at launch (a shirt, a couple chests with a few items) and then they are releasing content 5-10 MONTHS down the line (which smartly falls in line fairly well with the 'summer drought' and the holiday season) whichll renew peoples interest in the game and give them more stuff to do after theyve likely played through a large portion of the game, as well as help bring in more sales during those periods i mentioned the extra upside to this is theres also still a handheld team that could be working on another zelda, so we may be seeing an approach that can keep the quality of zelda at its high level and not have massive gaps between titles without putting too much stress on the dev teams and aonuma, you have a major release every few years thats a big 3d title, with little bits of dlc scattered about the year after release while aonuma and the head team begin the planning and the dev team stays to work on fun dlc before beginning production on the next big game, meanwhile the handheld team can be working on 1-2 games that come out in that gap similar to how link between worlds and triforce heroes came out between skyward and botw so im excited for this, theyre using it as an extension of a great game as opposed to a cheap way to milk a few extra bucks out of you, and if it catches on we may see dlc coming back to being a good thing again If it's so, it's a healthy approach. That said, a DLC is still a DLC. I must admit I was surprised Nintendo ended doing that after a long time of "nope, no way, we won't go for it!"... but again Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes are also a sign of changing times. Sorry for the delay in reply. Oh and when it comes to Zelda 1, never forget the idea that you were quite lost and that about every bush, every statue or rock could hide a secret. There was no hint on where to use the candle or bomb either for secret rooms either... unless... you called the Nintendo Club hot-line or were the happy rich kid able to buy the magazines containing the maps and hints on beating bosses and all. Happy Times. The first Zelda I owned was the second and I can't see so much why it was so despised. It's good, very confusing though, I admit. I could finish it, no problems on it. Still, my favorite remains Link's Awakening. So much poetry, the line between dreams and reality... a search for truth, a mixed feeling of both happiness and dread, a true trial of courage. I am still fond of Marin, too. Just imagine if that game was on SNES, it would have been so much more recognized.

...I looked at the funko pops and went blank face mode for a few seconds. Can't do something resembling these... imagine the lawsuits.
Oh and I forgot to mention jewelry of these ability shards, being in different colors.
Edit: No worries about the pillow, we will not have that. Only unlicensed products would go for it... As for Miriam being huggable, she sure is, but nothing more than that.

I'd like to see:
- Character figures of both a normal size and chibi ones; - Collector holographic cards, to fit the stained glass theme (I don't think a TCG would be a wise idea though) +normal ones if needed; - Pins (Miriam's chest flower, Bloodstained logo, Miriam, Gebel, Johannes, Zangetsu, Vepar... but also funny ones like a bored Master IGA, wine glass, coffee mug, macaroni bowl, etc.); - A Miriam desktop companion, wallpaper, desktop theme... oh wait, that's not physical merchandise.
I may edit this post when I get more ideas. ^^

A DJ? Well, Edward finally accepted his duties as a King and he is doing that well. Giving his duties to the chancellor for a day so he can be a DJ could work, he would want classical music though.
Yuna...? Maybe.
Maybe Zell, Irvine, Selphie and Quistis? They already did that in FF VIII.

Well, if you want to go that far, you could add the Chocobo girls from FF Lightning Returns. ^^
I did mention FF VI's Mog because he really is the dancer from that game (as well as a geomancer) and his cuteness factor surely would easily win fans over. He also was the first playable of his kind! The moogles also are one of the most recognizable icons of Square/Squaresoft/SquareEnix.
I'd just want him to return to his original form. Some versions of Mog truly were ugly.

Edward wouldn't fit so well as he is a bard, not a dancer. Besides, Tellah would haunt him if he did so.
But Bahamut of them all FF icons? SE failed majorly on this one. No really, there is only one that can fill that spot, it is Mog (and the other Moogles) from FF VI! Even his short character summary mentions it. "A moogle who speaks the words of men, and can summon the earth's power through his dance..." (looted from the FF Wiki)
What a terribly failed opportunity. But again, it's SE we are talking about. *shrugs*
...Besides, if I were Bahamut, I'd fry them all with a well-placed Megaflare. Super demoted summon FTL.

Addressing the choice in the Wii U vs. Switch dilemma would be very plausible at this time indeed. It would be quite the critical period to do it.
That said, I would certainly love to hear more information on the currently developed content of the game as well.

XombieMike and do trust me, it did happen right when I finally got the right words for a reply on this thread. Let's just say... what are the chances for a wall crack to appear on this page, at that moment and at that precise spot, on a unique visit? ...Once in a lifetime. Let's treasure it for all eternity. (Btw, do you have a log on where and when wall cracks ever happened? That could further prove my claims.)

Miriam knows her martial arts moves! Yes, kicking is pretty refreshing compared to the usual slash or crush walls until they crumble. It is a nice idea, I would have tried it if I had the demo. At least Miriam didn't learn from one ultra-famous Hylian the ability of using bombs... Oh wait, never say never. !! No... no way!! (attached pics, no cheating, no editing pictures)

I'm glad this thread got revived.
I learned about CSOTN when a past friend of me showed me the game. Castlevania with RPG elements? A whole slew of weapons, armor, accessories? A map? I was instantly charmed by the game. The game being extremely fluid as well and being able to progress further at defined points also played their roles.
Needless to say that when I heard it also was present in the Dracula X Chronicles as unlockable made me buy the latter, fast.
I am hopeful for Bloodstained. Not worried, not desperate, I just will enjoy it fully when it gets available, or when a beta/2nd demo is out. I sadly missed the E3 one since I am just a slacker backer (I didn't wish to deal in e-commerce before).
The rest shall unfold in time. Let's see what the future got in store for us.

true, although with the reports ive seen from games like snake pass and dark souls being very easy to get up and running on switch (snake pass took a week, mind you theres still optimization to do especially with dark souls), theres still the crazy left field choice of doing both, and that may end up being a boon in the same way collectors will snatch up the wiiu version of botw and the gc version of tp, its the rarer copy to have (on top of those few that still only have wiiu in 2018). but it does all come down to risk vs reward, will keeping the wiiu version be more problematic and cost more than its worth in keeping that stretch goal vs porting only to the switch (which btw has the added bonus of being portable)? Ah, that's good to hear. Nothing is worse than to redo anything from a certain point, if not from scratch (and that sure happened in the story of videogames). Doing both, really? I do think it is not a wise idea to run after two hares, like the saying says. Once again, we are not sure of what's the advancement level of the Wii U version. I also still wonder about the Switch. It's still yet to be launched and game makers better avoid the biggest unplanned faults of a 1st version of a console. ...That said, there are game and system updates nowadays, it's always a plus. Bloodstained would get so much coverage if it gets released on the Switch early. It could otherwise get its share by being known as one of the last games on the Wii U. Still I know some won't be able/can't afford/don't want to buy a Switch (yet)... I think it's the main problem here.
