Don't have VR, but does VR have eye detection? Or is it just detecting your head movements? Because if it's just head movement, wouldn't that mess with you? I mean, look at something and turn your head a bit. You'll still focus on that one thing, and I feel that wouldn't translate well to VR. I could be wrong but that seems like an issue.
As for this idea of a corner cam with vr, it doesn't sound bad. And I didn't even hate on those 3d Castlevanias. *CoD and LoI not the N64 ones.

Personally, I like Voyage of Promise a lot. Holy Wisdom... eh, for a Chapel type stage it would be good imo, but in general, not my cup of tea.

Can he? Probably not, unless Alucard is designed as basically a different character. If that's the case, there is no point to include the name, and might as well make a whole different character entirely. An example of this would be Alucard, in Hellsing, the anime. But since he's actually Dracula, he has that name for a purpose.

I would love to see something like this... Doesn't even have to be Union Glyphs/Shards. It could be A super charged shard attack or consuming a shard to cast. I mean, from the demo vids, I've seen that you get shards even after you get the original, and I'm assuming it doesn't do much, but who knows... they can make it a consumable to cast out a super version.

Welp, too bad for all of those poor folks we stole elixir from. They'll never if that immortality thing was going to work out... VI is one of my all time favorites, too... Taking this a step further, how about if in our clock tower, a large and/or story important elixir was being made? It could be hidden behind the giant clock face. Why would poor people want immortality? Living infinitely in poverty? You're doing them a favor by stealing it.

I'd like to say...... I doubt Konami is creating all new assets like Iga is with this game. There are times they are *or I suspect they are anyway), like CotM, but a lot of the other games have very familiar assets in them.

Regarding Kaze the Cat...... and this is just random thoughts.
If possible, have his initial appearance come with an NPC of some sort as just a docile cat. Like say as a cat on top of the Librarian's desk in SotN. Have a trigger that would make him disappear from that room, like say gravity jump up the Librarian's bum. After that, it appears in another room as a hostile. Hostility can be dampened with food, where the cat leaves without attacking the player. Otherwise the cat attacks with dash attack that dashes a certain distance through the player, based on Kamaitachi and doing a high jump where he flips and then dashes down and does an aoe attack, based on a kamikaze pilot.
If permitted, keeping the cat happy yields rewards, while killing it have a good drop. But I feel it's a bit too complex to implement.
As for the Axe from Torg.
The axe can place down a flame or something, depending on what type of attack it does every time an attack hits. Every attack after that, hits normally, but the placed flame or whatever also shoots a shot directly at the enemies that are hit. On the flip side, if the player is hit by the enemy that caused the flame to be placed, the flame shoots at the player in the same way.
And the Power Purse....
All I got to say is, every time it hits, coins fly out like Sonic and his rings that require you to get it back.
These ideas kind of conforms to the original idea given...

A byte is 8 bits. A bit has 2 values. 0 and 1. so 2^8 is 256. Take account for 0, so 256-1. 255.
Another common number is 65536 which is 2 bytes. or 2^16. I think a short is 2^64, and int is usually 2^128, but I'm not sure on those.
Which by the way only really matters way back when, since a lot of games needed to keep things in a certain amount of storage space. Like cartridges of old. Today, games are 50 gbs. So a byte or an int is negligible for the most part, I think people might take it into consideration to help load faster but I doubt people even go that far for optimizing.
EDIT: Just checked to refresh my memory. Short is 2^16 and Int is 32 but int64 is 64, which is also a long. I never used shorts or longs, so I never cared.

that's what i'm worried about this PUBLISHER, presumably koch media/deep silver(which i dont like them anymore), as they have the galls to make a DUMB trailer for mighty no. 9 that ruin their reputaion. are they really trustworthy? how do we know that they wont make another BAD PR stunt that would receive negative backlash? They published Ride to Hell Retribution... why would you like them before? They seem to have done a lot of things though, both good and bad. I'm glad someone picked up Saints Row, for one. Considering how the story is, it's basically at the end of it's current storyline. But regardless, as long as they don't stop Iga from making his game the way he wants, then they can make whatever stupid ass trailer they wish. It won't touch the game, and even with a bad trailer, reviews would be where the true game is shown, good or bad. This game has enough publicity already, so I'm not worried about people not knowing about it.

If it's a Manticore, I don't think it's a problem, I mean, Manticore is usually defined as Lion with wings sort of thing. So as long as it's not a carbon copy, it should be fine. Same for Behemoth... I mean, only thing I can see being suppressed is if it's a half eaten Behemoth like the ones that is in the CV games. FF games have tons of similar looking Behemoths, after all.

Plus without IGA on their team anymore, anything innovative or original is probably out of their competency. :/ Wait..... maybe I'm reading it wrong... Was that saying that Konami would fail at making it? I was reading it as it wouldn't work because Konami would block Iga somehow.

Nice I like your buying idea, but there should still be some weapons you cannot buy... like something too strong for a store to keep in their inventory lol. it might tear their shop apart. I can see creating a semblance of those weapons but I still think the drops should be far superior then anything we can make... The only problem with legendary drops is that with enough luck the player can get multiple weapons... that is why I think the player should be able to break it down if he wants. Well, when I said Legendary, I'm using it interchangeably with Uniques. Though.... unless there is some sort of dual weapon technique with like 2 Spears of Longinus' like 2 Heaven Swords. But I get what you mean, still... is it that big of an issue? Some people like farming like mad to get 99 of things. It's beyond me, but it's fun for some people. Maybe an alternative is have it a single drop per playthrough, so if you want more, you have to play a new game or go to new game plus.
