We all saw how MN9 ended up. While I have more confidence with IGA, and no stupidity has happened yet, it could still encounter debilitating diseases..... 3 months to Vepar's breast reduction!

I love bestriaries. It's always fun to read up on the lore that goes behind it, if any.
Breakable walls, I prefer them hidden, and maybe revealed after it's been found on subsequent playthroughs.
Item limit, I like a high limit, balanced by making it hard to freely use. And it's worn out, and odd for me to say, as I don't even obsess over dark souls like most do, but like that. Where there are play animations that make it potentially bad... though... now that I think about it, Vindictus did it better imo. Drinking a pot in that game gives a good bit of health depending on what you use but perfect timing it gives the full effect.
Jokes are great... in fact easter eggs are always great.
As for exp degradation..... never been a fan. I prefer either exp degradation or expanding exp requirement, not both.

I agree with Yan, it's really not that big of a deal. Small glitches like this happen all the time. it seems to be an issue of timing on both occurrence.
Does thank you for playing come up if you die as well?
In either case, neither seems game breaking. and the first isn't even an issue in my eyes, there are enemies who do damage after their deaths, and I would just see it like that personally.

Mirror it would mean less hard work. Since the theme is about glass, I just wanted to see how Miriam would react once she found out the later "dimension" is the real world, and she have been trapped inside this glass mirror dimension but now broken free, revealing the true ending. It could also be so that you change areas, re-arrange items for each playthrough and even read words on buildings, signs and such that you couldn't before. Giving the whole lore a wider feel. If the true ending would be that she now is free (but still cursed), she now have to find the other castles / areas in the world to distrupt them, bring it down - Bloodstained Series engaged. Here is my take.. Wow, that looks pretty. And you know what? The sun rays make the brightness on those platform look fitting. Which was my complaint on the original. Sweet stuff.

What bothered me was the rainbow, not the coloring. It was just fuckin' weird.
Though, what really pissed me off about D3 was that they changed the combat system.

I think 5 times over budget is wrong... it's 5 times over the original budget but stretch goals aren't included in such. Well, if we were to make numbers now, they asked for 500.00, but got 5.545.991. That's over eleven times what they asked. On the other hand the campaign launched clearly stating they secured a publisher that asked them to gather those 500.000 to see if there was interest for the game. If memory serves, that's 10% of the budget they needed to secure, so the real budget was 5.000.000, that was going to be given by the publisher, once the campaign succeeded. Now, we supposedly have 5.545.991 plus 4.500.000 given by the publisher, so if we are going to be precise, that's roughly over two times the final budget. And this is where it gets messier. When they announced the delay to 2018; they also announced they partnered with 505. So, were they the original publisher that requested to run the KS campaign? Are they gonna put that 4.500.000 they were supposed to received to make the core game if they aren't? Bloody hell, I've been looking into the 10% thing, but reading all the updates I couldn't find a source, so that might as well be wrong. In any case, it's not as much, but let's say they have just the 5.545.991 KS budget, less 5% percent of KS fees, which is 277.299,55, that leave us with 5.268.691.45, and I'm not counting the Slacker Backer funding. Mostly because last time I heard it wasn't that big of a number. Then we have the stretch goals, and the whole rewards from some of the high tier backers, I know those ain't gonna be cheap, but still, it can't cost the extra 5.045.991 extra they got over the initial campaign goal. I'm far from being a producer for my word to be worth anything more than a fan rant, though. But it's cool we can debate about this, ever since the campaign launched I've been at the edge of my seat for this, and it's the first time I've backed something, so I've never been a role like this before, and I know I may come as overbearing, but that's how much I'm excited for this. The difference still doesn't factor in stretch goals. It's 11 times or whatever, but it also has corresponding stretch goals. So it's never really over budget. I'm not playing with numbers, just stating that it's not over budget if the total unlocked stretch goals.

Okay, though I dont see any lava or volcano..... but even if there were or the sun setting, it wouldn't affect the platform 10 times the ground a few feet away. It looks that much brighter. A lamp would be a small light source, I can sort of see it, but that wouldn't be the same as a big encompassing light source like lava or a setting sun.

That's the thing, Look at the shadow of the surrounding areas in those 2 pictures, does it not look like the first is randomly illuminated by another light? While the bottom has correct lighting? I think once that is solved, everything would look right. The light is correct.. Stay close to a lamp, and go up the staires.. The shadow falls like that.
The light can however, make her shadow be a bit stronger. The light can also be a bit more faint. The light can change colors if they wish and the light can be but further away, making her shadow less of an distraction.
There are ways to fix this, but the shadow, as is, is correct if she are very close to the source of the light. Cool effect, but makes the bright background a distraction.What lamp and what light source are you referring to? I was speaking of the two pictures, first being the ship 2nd being the village, I seemed to have done a bad way quoting. But regardless, which light source is she near in the village?

SHADOW, LIGHTNING, COLORS, SHADERS Busterific Kale Olrox LeoLeWolferoux As i explained above, i think the essential problem here can be summarized as a situation that can't really be avoided. That's something i want to say and see if i can clarify something. This will be a long text!
MIRIAM'S SHOULDER AND THE SCARF More than one year ago, a picture popped up showing Miriam with a small cloth covering her (otherwise) naked shoulder in a really pre-pre-pre alpha model. After some discussion, it was clarified that her design needed to be changed to add a cool-looking scarf (that, in reality, is two long laces coming out of her shoulder's clothing) because she wasn't visible enough in the scenario. The scarf was added later, alongside some glowing and petals falling from her back rose, all in order to increase her visuals in the gameplay, so, the gamer wouldn't lose her in the environment. That alone, may be part of the shader's selection problem, that made her surprisingly blend in the scenario way better than they expected (something that is kinda counterintuitive if you think that her and the scenario's shaders are different, but that's the reality).
WHAT IS A PLATAFORM AND WHAT ISN'T? After the demo was out, some people (including youtubers that tested the game) pointed out that it was hard to identify what was plataform and what wasn't. Some people where "jumping in thin air" because they thought places in the background were part of the environment. In a response to this, the dev team said they was going to change the lightning over plataforms, to make them way more visible than the rest of the background. In the Demo, the whole lightning and shadow are more or less in the same tone, and the only aestethically's good solution they found out was to increase lightning in "stepable" places.
I see what you mean with this picture...... and I get it, however.... will there be similar looking outcrops in the village that won't be platforms? Differentiation isn't very important if there isn't anything that it needs to be differentiated from.
