Time was absorbed by Zelda, but some info came out. www.siliconera.com/2017/03/07/final-fantasy-vii-remakes-battles-wont-command-based-action-based/"The above is a look at a gameplay screenshot that was revealed at MAGIC 2017 last month. It shows Cloud taking cover from fire, but Nomura says while there may be some maps that allows you to take such actions, it won’t be a necessity. This screenshot was mostly to show that it is seamless and there are various actions you’ll get to take according to the areas." - in relation to the last image posted with Cloud taking cover behind a metal box. "Again, the Guard Scorpion’s map will have parts that are destructible, and the battle will be a flashy one that consists of numerous attacks that weren’t in the original version. Nomura says that if you look closely, you can even see a bunch of missiles being launched in the Guard Scorpion fight." In other words there will be destructible environments and environment based actions even in the middle of combat. www.siliconera.com/2017/03/09/nomura-final-fantasy-vii-remake-kingdom-hearts-iii-clouds-design-never/"We’ll have to talk about the ATB and skill on another occasion. As for Materia, we can say that it’s something like a skill. It’s different from magic, and you can use it when a Materia that has effects that are usable in battle are set." "Rather than just settling with a scaffold, the battle will take advantage of its space and the map’s characteristics, where you’ll get to switch between Cloud and Barret in the fight. For example, when there are enemies that are in places that can’t be reached by Cloud’s sword, it’ll be more effective to switch to Barret, so there’s a bit of strategy at play there. The Guard Scorpion also changes its mode during battle, and it’ll also show some behavior that wasn’t in the original version. You might have gotten an idea for that by seeing missiles falling down in the screenshot. It’s shaping up to be a very flashy battle." "While I can’t say much in detail about this now, gunners will have elements that are characteristic to gunners." Some more information about Materia and Barret. I'm guessing 'Magic' is its own command and Materia will be things like Deathblow and Steal. Or perhaps it's a sub-menu to toggle modifier Materia's like Cover, Counter, or All. The UI isn't complete and the FFXV UI changed numerous times over development, but I expect the FFVIIR UI won't change that much, personally speaking.

On a scale of not a big deal at all to a big deal, it's not a big deal at all but I feel that the Gieremund animation is too fast. If it's a fast enemy then it's fine, and otherwise when you're actually playing the game it won't matter at all.
I love the enemy designs. The harpy is fantastic and the wolf is pretty good too. I'm glad that Yamane seems to be rather inspired at this point, I look forward to what she produces.

Everything except graphics and voice: Final Fantasy VII
"Best game" is always an easy one for me. FFVII is a perfect 10/10 game.
Graphics: Probably a Naruto Shippuden game. Like or dislike the series but those games are beautiful.
Voice: Probably a mix of MGS and MGS Twin Snakes. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Twin Snakes.

Don't forget this one which everyone exploded over.
I'm not sure how I'd feel about an actual remake/movie. It's downright one of my top favorite games for sure, and I'd love to see a remake for it, but I'd fear it losing what made it so great in the first place.

Basically agree with Pure Miriam on everything. Didn't know how to feel about 505 Games, but if they don't have content control, then it makes sense to get a company to publish it. And the game looked beautiful.

Enhanced regeneration.
Sort of like Wolverine's healing factor.
The whole reason behind old age is the decay of DNA. If you eliminate this out of the equation, a human may theoretically live forever, barring that no fatal damage is inflicted. Bottom line, I want to live forever while remaining young and healthy. Ensuring that the DNA remains intact will allow you to grow into the human that you ought to be while you're in your prime. Even if you were already old, if you could renew your DNA then it may be possible to become young again. You would effectively reverse your aging, but only to the point where you are the perfect version of yourself. You would have eternal youth while remaining an individual.
Of course if I could just have a very specific power, then it'd just be to be immortal while maintaining the perfect version of myself, no matter what. It would eliminate any potential causes of death, and I wouldn't have to become a sack of bones achieving it. Not to mention I'd be physically fit no matter what I consumed or how lazy I was.

I also have a Galaxy S4. Never got a case for it. Never needed one, I don't tend to drop things, and when I do I panic like hell it's from a very short height and nothing happened to my phone. Thankfully the screen is pretty sturdy. I got one of those flip covers to protect the screen from scratches in my pocket. Oh yeah I don't even have a screen protector.
Normally I'm the type of person to go along with upgrades, however I'm under the impression that some rather amazing technology is on the way, and I'm waiting for that to hit the mobile phone market. I know Samsung has invested a lot of money into researching it, and maybe they already have sweet phones in Korea, but when we have Super Galaxy or something and the battery lasts forever and charges in a minute, that's when I think I'll be ready to upgrade.
Also if the Nintendo NX is a legit phone, I'm considering that too.

Japanese animation is definitely not more diverse than Western animation. And certainly not more popular. I have no clue how you could reach that conclusion. Ever heard of Disney? I'm going to take a guess and say you have. Sorry I meant that anime in general, not in regards to animation itself, is more diverse. As far as Disney vs. anime goes, I think that's a pretty close call myself. However Disney is a single entity and anime is an umbrella term for every animation company within Japan. Ever heard of Pikachu? That little rodent is more well known than another rodent you know of, Mickey Mouse. More people in the world know about Pikachu than Mickey. Not just in Japan. Not just in America. Not just in Europe. The rest of the world. Although whether this is true or not will depend on what source you go to. Regardless, Pikachu has been around for about 2 decades while Mickey has been around for closing in on a century. The advantage "anime" has over Disney is the multiple various and diverse sources they can pull from. In one spectrum you have Pikachu, in another you have Naruto and then One Punch Man. What was Disney's last ground breaking, world famous title, popular with kids and adults? Something that got people talking? Popularity is a little more than "do you know about that?" and more "are you talking about that?" Of course a lot of people know about Disney, like I said it's been around for nearly a century. That's like asking if people know about The United States.

Japanese cartoons are much more popular in general, and as a result there are more of them. Because there's so many there's a huge effort to make them different or diverse, as well as expand on animation techniques. Literally none of this is true. On what grounds?

When we try to differentiate things it gets really complicated. You honestly can't separate the two. Anime Korean animation/American cartoon American cartoon Japanese animation/American cartoon American cartoon Anime American cartoon Japanese animation, Korean animation/American cartoon Japanese cartoons are much more popular in general, and as a result there are more of them. Because there's so many there's a huge effort to make them different or diverse, as well as expand on animation techniques. When you take away what's different and give them the same source material to work with, it doesn't really get that different. American cartoon

I seem to remember Iga's umbrella draw being a lot faster than that Katana animation. These test videos are never at the real game speed. They kinda said that already. It is always slowed down to show things better and also, you can clearly see a FPS count there, so, it is a test scenario. I'm not sure if you mean that the FPS counter being there denotes that it's merely a test, or the the FPS itself is relevant. FPS doesn't exactly cover the speed in which things happen. As an example here, the whip is shown at around 19~ fps while the greatsword is shown at around 28~ fps. The whip is much faster, however. Really what I mean is that in relation to the other weapons in the video which seem to all be at a decent speed, the katana is slower even though it's being compared directly to a speedy source (IGA). Maybe it's slower now just so they could get it to fit his movements more precisely, I don't know. I'm not exactly saying they should change, just relaying an observation.

Yeah this thing was boasted as being all made by 1 guy, but that's quite a bit misleading. I didn't believe it for a second, and sorta felt like I was being conned. Though I don't know how the developer himself tried to market it out.
Overall though, it looks pretty cool and rather interesting. It looks promising, and I hope it makes an example out of some big time developers.

Some sort of light up Miriam toy, where the light extrudes from the base panel as well as her tattoos. The color of the light could be controlled by switching out various colored "shards".
