No reason... other than it being AMAZEBALLS. (And it being Judas Priest, of course)

this companies art style is stunning and beautiful to watch in motion, but i wouldn't want them doing character designs, just strictly the graphs and possibly the play style. This in a nutshell. Heck, I would go as far as say that while I would definitely want them to come up with ideas for the play style, have another team altogheter handle that. Their games always feel a bit... odd, to me at least. Can't quite put my finger on it, however. Like, for example, if its a pure classic CV, their odd fascination with RPG elements just have to go. They belong somewhere else, and I'm sure they would be better suited for some other genres (for example, a Metroidvania)

While I had liked new reto wave/synthcore for a while (because Lazerhawk) I will admit I first heard this song in Teen Titans Go! But what can I say? It's a very good song.

This is half silly (because come on, almost no one liked the original game) and half painful (because I did like the game. A LOT)
A new Mortal Kombat Mythologies.

I just purchased Pokemon Pinball for the Wii U's Virtual Console. Played it for about 20 minutes, still as fun and somewhat frustrating as I remember. I remember it playing it and having fun years and years ago, but since I never owned it... what the hey, might as well have it on the Wii U.
Shame it was never "released" for the 3DS' Virtual Console, tho'. Don't understand why they keep releasing portable games in a home console but eh, I can deal with that.

Not what I would've done. While I don't think you were rude, I do think you were a bit too... "direct." I think you missed some small chit-chat at first and jumped too fast at the "you're pretty" line... Having said that, this is far from being a "terrible" crash and burn. I once saw a guy trying to start a conversation with a booger joke, I kid you not. XombieMike is right, tho'. Apologize if you were too direct if you see her again, and if she responds possitively, try some small talk. If she shows no interest, eh, move on. Worse to try and fail than never try, as they say.

Oh man, I haven't followed the development as closely as perhaps I should, but jebus, this looks pretty effin' sweet. I was worried for a sec that my lack of research meant the game was gearing up to be... well, ya' know. But after watching them gameplay vids? Nope, hyped again.
Man, I need to put more attention from now on.

I don't think my cellphone can play it atm (I got a Samsung Prime, which only has 8 gigs of storage, the SD does next to nothing, and more than half of the space is used by the Google aps anyway which you CAN'T get rid off), but I bought Fire Emblems Conquest to compesate.
Been trying to play it, but I'm also editing some text (*points at his signature*) so I haven't been able to play it as much as I would want to... well, that, and the fact the game is much, MUCH harder than I thought it would be. I'm already suffering and I'm just in Chapter 11, I think.

It was a bit over-hyped as well. And really, it makes me slightly worried about what critical reception Bloodstained will receive. Will Bloodstained be seen through an overly critical lens because people let their expectations get a tad too high? I think that the answer to that question is certainly "yes" -- but to what extent? Will it be a vocal minority that complains bitterly, or will there be a broader segment with that feeling? Maybe a bit of both. Over-hyping and/or impossible expectations know no bounds, after all. I think there's a big chance a vocal BROAD segment will dislike it simply because "it's not better than SotN". Let me start this next opinion by also making it VERY clear I THINK SotN is a good game overall. But the problem is that the "it's not better than SotN" will be tied more to nostalgia than anything else. Nothing will be able to beat SotN for a particular segment of the backers simply because you aren't a young kid (or teen) playing the first Metroidvania anymore. Nostalgia doesn't work that way.

Meh, it's not that bad. It's an okay game, and it delivered extacly what it promised, sho I'm not too sure what the deal is in that regard. Too much hype. I think that people usually think that this games are the second coming of the genre or for it to fix the issues with the genre itself, which weren't happening. The genre died for a reason. I backed it (don't remember what tier exactly) and I'm awaiting the code for the switch version (which I still don't own, btw) ever since the Wii U version got canned. Honestly, not expecting a lot, just a solid plataformer, which this title seems to be anyway.

The story is definitely inspired by Castlevania 3. Warren Ellis was actually in communication with IGA to get the plot right... Not to be THAT guy, but those two things are completely unrelated. I respect Ellis for trying to stay as close to the canon as possible, but IGA wasn't involved with Castlevania until much, much later. IGA later took over and worked a secondary canon into the franshice (and replaced Sonia with Leon. If this move was good or bad is a matter for another thread). I'm sure IGA has a lot of good thoughts and ideas concerning CV 3, and he's definitely better than absolutely nothing (plus, IGA is actually good at what he does) but really there's not a lot he can add because he simply didn't work in it. You don't need IGA to get the plot right, you need the guy who originally worked on it (which we don't know who it is).
