Two things: 1. I'm happy that crafting is still in. 2. The people who claimed the game is too slow I wonder if they've paid attention to IGAVANIA's at all because it's a perfect speed that replicates the very feel of all the games. Also, as a fan you'd know that upgrades come later that make your character faster in terms of relics. The lightning wolf relic? The soul abilities, the glyph abilities. You need a somewhat slower character ( even though it's not that slow) to contrast with the abilities you get later on. That's just the IGAVANIA snob in me talking but that complaint felt bogus from the beginning, the game feels like Castlevania and that's what I want. not to mention it's very difficult for a human to be swinging a weapon with enough precision to be effective if they're swinging wildly and I doubt Miriam recieved enough extensive training across all weapon types to retain speed and skill.

The weapon animations seem nice and fluid to me, and i'm pleased to hear that guns will be included.

I'm glad my guess of crafting ammo turns out to be true, it seems like such a no brainer great idea to me. It'll make crafting more enjoyable to not only create weapons but different ammo types depending on the situation you're in. In a place with werewolves? Get items to start creating silver bullets...etc.

I'd absolutely hate that if ammo was something in limited supply, but if it's one of those games where ammo acts as an inventory spot that doesn't actually dissipate ok. The only reason why I wouldn't want craftable ammo that depletes is simply because I don't like menu hopping and equipment changing every time I bump into a new badguy. Not to mention I like areas to have a variety of enemies. Areas that just have the same kind of enemy over and over get dull faster than areas that have a combination of various enemies imo.
If ammo was something that depleted but were generous in numbers, like.. able to craft 100 using materials you can get from just a few kills, that's ok too I guess, provided they stacked up high enough that I can avoid said menu hopping.
Just a 'quality of life' type gripe I have with games and elemental/ammo/whatever systems, it's weird too because it's the only 'quality of life' gripe I have for most games.

Well, if you were insistant on using guns and bullets, then maybe you could use something similar to the Doppelgänger soul in DoS. You know, just cycle through different weapons depending on the situation. :D

Yeah weapon quickslots help, preferably 3+ instead of just 2 though.

Yeah weapon quickslots help, preferably 3+ instead of just 2 though. Yeah. Especially if there are different types of weapons within a category. Like I'm sure it won't be just guns and bullets that have different parameter and style of weapons. If you look at a mace and compare it to a bhuj, I mean they're both from the same family, but the bhuj does slash damage, I believe. So, yeah. 3+ slots would be good. :)

I'd honestly prefer a Ratchet and Clank type equipment wheel over DMC weapon(setup) cycling.
Actually, how about a button that lets you open a R&C wheel to choose between multiple setups and another one that lets you cycle between your current and previous setup? That way you'd have a streamlined access to multiple setups without having to dig through the menus while also being able to switch in the heat of battle without pausing.

Derringers: aka a single-shot "pocket" gun ,which was popular for assassins due to its small size as well as ladies of the time for defense Speaking of Derringers, I hope we see a ridiculously oversized Derringer-style gun a la Bayonetta's Scarborough Fair. It would certainly suit the shooting animation.

Don't you guys think that the attacks need a little bit more speed? Like a pinch of speed increase.

Don't you guys think that the attacks need a little bit more speed? Like a pinch of speed increase. Not every weapon has the same attack speed, even in the same weapon category. That's the way it's been in every Igavania, and that's the way it will be.
