It would be unreasonable for every weapon to have a unique stance but certain weapons having stances(like nunchecks as JeffCross said) would be be pretty cool.

I can't see I see this as something fitting. This seems like something more suited to an MMO. will people on different hardware being separated by hardware? I just hope that won't be the case. What?

as I said in my earlier post I do agree getting one dye color at a time is annoying. And grinding sounds like too much, to some a bit disheartening. So I thought of an alternative... "a color wheel"... but the player has to fix it... i don't think it should be hard to fix though... but once it is done "boom" you have all the color you want. whatever happened to earning something though game play. we always just say "hey I want it all now" and poof there it is... it's lazy gaming imo. Didn't see that idea earlier. Even then... I still don't like anything about the mystic color wheel idea. Everything about it seems unnecessary and overly complicated when other games can just let you change your colors through a menu any time you want without having to earn anything. Since changing colors is purely a visual and "just for fun" thing that doesn't impact the game's weapons, armor, or traversal moves, I don't find anything about changing colors in a convenient way lazy. Agreed. There should just be a town that has all the shops you'd come to expect, and one of them would be a tailor that can change your colors and buy outfits from. No need to make it complicated.

I'd rather not have to collect dyes, I don't think you should be limited on what colors you want. Especially since this means some people will miss out and won't be able to get the specific colors they want until possible endgame.
I'd prefer that you have the option to color your outfits with sliders. Heck having the option to use sliders on different parts of your outfit would be great.

I would like it if the player model would automatically point their eyes at the closest enemy or point of interest in the background. I think Grim Fandango would be a good example for how great that can make exploration and finding ways to interact with the environment. This would also make combat more realistic and give more life to the characters. Excellent idea! This is one of my favorite features from Wind Waker! But why stop at the PC? Monsters should keep their eyes on the Playable Character too! These are the sort of details that elevate an excellent game to a memorable masterpiece. I agree with the opening suggestion and Cecil's suggestion. Both of these would be really nice. The way I always see features like this is that they don't NEED to be in, that's why they're so great when they do show up. When developers take out a bit of time to do something neat that didn't need to be there is just cements how much love went into that project.

Only one thing I really want. An original Shanoa themed outfit for Miriam! Damn, IGA if you see this, please make this happen >.< You realize something like this wouldn't be possible right? He'd have to get permission to use the Castlevania IP again, and with Konami in it's current state do you think that would actually happen?

It blew my mind how few people could dodge Demonic Megido. A frustratingly small amount of people Man HoD would have been such an amazing game if the RNG wasn't all kinds of fucked up. A friend of mine had to fight Menace like 200 times just to get the Chaos Ring to drop, and I still never got any of the +1 items.

Does the aforementioned character have anything to do with Castlevania history in general or is it just a fan pipe dream of sorts? Literally nothing to do with Castlevania, its just an anime that is currently airing and that people will probably forget about in a few months.

if bloodstained isnt at least SotN + HoD it won't be IGA's magnum opus he hopes for. I'll play the single player stuff and probably 100% the game, but if there is an HoD side to it, might not even bother with single player for half a year. Agreed, I have like at least 7 friends that backed Bloodstained so if there is online I'll be playing a good amount of co-op.

Why it is broke? Quotas. You see, I don't think that quotas are the solution, I'm all for equality in general, all areas, a equal world is what I want. But when people use things like quotas, it can affect the originality of the story and enforce even more stereotypes. Why? Because you aren't adding a character because you thought about something cool for him, you will be adding it because of a quota and then after you will try to think how to put it in the story, it is the wrong order. Writers should've their freedom to make the best story possible, not be restrained because of a "test". Now claryfing my opinion, yes, I would like if they added 1 or 2 more female characters. If possible a fight with her would be cool, since I expected to battle Celia in DoS and everyone knows why we didn't had this chance... Exactly my point. You said it a bit better then I did if I had to say so.

It's just a demonstration that the women are actual characters in themselves with their own goals and aren't just reflections of or satellites that orbit the male characters in question. See I disagree with this because its natural for characters to talk about other characters, regardless of gender. It shouldn't matter if a character is male or female, black or white. People give too much focus to stuff like this. Developers shouldn't have to include things like this in video games unless it something they did naturally without the intent to fill some quota. Regardless of how good your intent is you can ALWAYS tell if it was done just for the sake of having it in. Personally it feels disingenuous to me. My problem here is that you feel like they HAVE to pass some test. If they're going to do it they should do it without having to be told to do so.

Sounds like something that wouldn't be needed at all.
If characters are going to be around to talk be made and/or talk to each other it should be something that happens naturally, not something that happens because the need to fill a quota. I'm really hating the current trend of people trying to shoehorn stuff like this into video games.
This doesn't mean that im opposed to more female characters, what I'm opposed to is people trying shove stuff specifically like this everywhere nowadays.
All this would do is limit what characters could and couldn't talk about as there are plot important male characters and it would make sense for them to be brought up in conversations due to whatever reason.
That is unless im completely misunderstanding what this is about. Then by all means feel free to correct me.

XombieMike I would add a link to the Unique ways to platform(Whip swinging/Magnes points/etc.) thread in the Review Request covering Traversal Mechanics. The topic covers something already mentioned in the bullet points of that review but having developer eyes on that thread as well as the original Traversal Mechanics thread would probably be a good idea and I think further demonstrates the demand for something like that. If not already covered by the Traversal Mechanics review, I'd also add - Ability to move and attack at the same time, especially while grounded, with at least some if not all weapons (See Maria from Rondo of Blood)
- Ability to attack in eight directions with at least some if not all weapons (See Super Castlevania IV)
- The more Classic Mode is like Super Castlevania IV in terms of movement the better (with modern design sensibilities in place of course & the ability to jump from stairs)
Now that I think about it, I don't think a topic dedicated to Classic Mode and the Classic Castlevania has been done yet. I should fix that. Surprised to see someone suggesting my thread! Quite glad about that. As for your suggestion I'd have to agree partially with eight directional attacking and moving while attacking. Those shouldn't happen with all weapons but definitely should be some specific weapon types.

They both focus on new features for the multiplayer modes, but don't mention that they're adding versus or co-op mode. The goals themselves seem to be building off of those modes mentioned in the video though, so I think it's safe to assume they were going to add the VS/Co-op to the base game anyway! Yeah that's what was what was worrying me. I'm ASSUMING the online was always planned but the exact wording is a bit iffy so I'm just a bit concerned. I loved playing Castlevania Harmony of Despair with my friends and to have the chance to play some more online metroidvanias with my friends excites me.

My number one want would probably be casual clothes. A t-shirt and some jeans would be nice. Doesn't sound too hard to make either. I was thinking the same thing, but it included Iga's hat. Well hats seem to be completely optional. Actually since it seems glasses are going to be in I'd also like sun glasses.

Don't exactly know if this is the right place to post this but will Bloodstained have online multi-player? The Kickstarter pitch video says this This leads me to believe that this is something that was always going to come packaged with the game. The local multi-player stretch goal didn't some until later. So I don't think the Kickstarter pitch would be advertising a Stretch Goal, and I never saw any place saying if there would or wouldn't be online multi-player. Especially after the new announcement of character customization it would be a shame if you didn't get to play online with your friends and see how they all look.

Please take the proper amount of time for developing this game and don't feel the need for the game to come out in 2 years as planned.
2 years sounds a bit rushed for development of a game to me and I'd rather a delayed amazing game then a rushed abomination.
I always get scared when developers try to place a release date on a game they haven't even started proper development on yet. They either never reach deadline or it comes out rushed and turns out to be horrible.
