Sometimes I wish I could draw, but my talents lay in writing, not drawing, I'm afraid. (I actually feel inclined to write a Bloodstained fanfiction, but... I'll wait until the game is released and I understand the full story, rather then write a story now and end up possibly making some laughable assumptions about what's going to happen in the plot.)
Today is going to be uneventful for me, but tomorrow I'll be spending most of the day doing yard work at my sister's place.

Bravely Second's demo. (Is available for download on the 3DS eShop.)
The main protagonist's name results in some weird dialogue. 'Yew' is an obvious play on the word 'you', but it just makes for some awkward sounding sentences.
"I'm a pro at keeping Yew out of trouble."
Bravely Second is probably going to end up making me flashback to FFX and how it conspicuously never referred to Tidus by name in any voiced cutscene.

Twilight Princess HD.
I played the original way back when, but so much time has passed since then, that I can almost approach it as a brand new game. (Minus the fact that I know the plot.) The Wolf Link amiibo is also a snazzy goodie, looking forward to what it'll do in Zelda U.
I went ahead and named Link "Scuttle" (Wish I could have used my full username. Why is it so hard to find games that accept 9 letter long names?) and the horse, in light of looking forward to Hyrule Warriors Legends, I named "Linkle".
Now I can say that I was on top of Linkle and rode her aaaaaaaaall over the world.

Made my votes.
I'd really like to see a 'Waterfall Area', or just about any area with an emphasis on flowing and rushing water. I love good water graphics in games, and I'd hope that they make some good and fine looking water in Bloodstained.

My, Goobs is such a grown-up! :3 I feel like I'm the world's worst nightmare for being an anime avatar weirdo who can do chores, function normally in society, and is registered to vote. Sometimes I wonder what our avatars say about us. Typically, the avatar is an image you like, so it sorta shows a bit of what kind of stuff a user might be into, and your avatar is a part of your first impression on a forum.
Anyway, yesterday I got a haircut. The haircut I've been meaning to get since November. (Now freed from the tyranny of long hair!) Then I swung by Gamestop to pre-order Bravely Second, and bought amiibos for Lucario and Lottie. As for today, I actually haven't been up that long (I tend to stay up until 5-6 AM and wake up mid to late afternoon, so I've actually been awake for only about 2 hours now.), but I promised my nephew a game of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, so I'll be doing that later on today.

Since I wasn't able to get the three-in-one version, I'll probably get Conquest by itself. And, really, since I'm doing it this way, I'm not sure if I'll ever be playing Revelations. I'll probably get Birthright as DLC, but the chances of me also buying Revelations is looking very remote.
I dunno, I'm just not the FE fan I used to be. Back when Awakening released I was very passionate about the franchise, and I bought all of Awakening's DLC just as it became available. Not sure what happened, but for whatever reason I think I'd rather look at Zelda for my medieval fantasy fix.
Ah well, need to get more money to put into my gaming budget before I do anything with Fates.

Capcom's own words is that SFV is "definitely" the only version of the game you'll ever need, and they'll update the game across the PS4's lifespan.
However, if you're not much of an online multiplayer fan, I'd hold off on the game right now. The basic combat system is fun, but there's a dire lack of offline single-player modes right now. (Challenges come next month, and the cinematic story comes in June.) Though even the multiplayer is off to a rough start. Despite all those betas, online is being reported as being a bit laggy right now. Funnily enough, the servers had to be temporarily closed for maintenance today, launch day.
So, from the looks of it, SFV is off to a slow start. I trust it'll speed up with the updates it'll get in the months to come, but SFV in its current state probably would only appeal to hardcore Fighting genre fans.
I'm still enjoying playing as Charlie Nash. I've been wanting his return for a while. Now if we could just get Sodom and Sagat into SFV...

Regarding censorship...
The 'petting' has been altered. In the Japanese version you could pet any character to raise their support level. In the English version, you can call a character into My Room, see their higher res 3-D model and hear their spoken line, but you can't pet them. However, petting is in if the character you called into your room is your spouse.
I actually like that. I remember when the petting was first announced, I was hanging around Fire Emblem Awakening's Miiverse community, and there was some tense discussion with strong opinions both ways regarding the petting. During this, I maintained a view that I could get behind getting touchy-feely with who you married (and this was before marriage was confirmed for Fates), but wasn't too fond of the idea of getting touchy-feely with any old member of the army regardless of support level. So, looks like my view on the matter more or less won in the west, haha.

My gaming is very Warriors right now. I'm flipping between Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U and Samurai Warriors 4-II on the PS4 right now. All in preparation for Hyrule Warriors Legends and Samurai Warriors 4: Empires next month.
Managed to get one character at Hyrule Warriors' offensively high level cap. (Volga) Now that I've a maxed character, I'll be shamelessly exploiting the rupee glitch to get a few other people up at the max.

Heads up: Corrin and Bayonetta are now live. I just finished buying Corrin and Smash is doing its system update now. (7 more minutes to go.)
Altogether, for Smash DLC, I didn't buy Lucas or Bayonetta, didn't buy most of the DLC stages, (though I did get the Midgar and Japanese castle stage, since they came with Cloud and Ryu), and bought only one pack of Mii parts. (Only because my 'I don't buy cosmetic DLC' rule unfortunately waned when I saw that Black Knight outfit, hehe.)
Still, Smash 4 is now complete for me as far as I'm concerned. If and when we get a Smash 5, expect me to be championing the Inklings, Elma, and Linkle getting into the game.

I don't know the specifics since I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but when marriage and children were revealed for Fates, it was hinted that they came from an 'outside world'.
At the very least, I trust Intelligent Systems to not be so creatively bankrupt as to use time travel two games in a row.

I intended to get the three-in-one Revelations version, but Gamestop was sold out on it. So ultimately I reached the decision to put Fates off for a month or two, dedicating the money I saved for Fates to Pokken Tournament.
When I do eventually get the game, I'll be siding with Nohr on my first playthrough. As a veteran of the franchise (been with it since it went international with the 7th game) the 'harder' Nohr route will probably make me feel right at home. Plus, the Nohr cast strikes me as generally more likable. And they have werewolves.
As for supports, I'll do what I did in Awakening, and give the characters 'amusing' spouses on the first playthrough. On my first run, prince Leo of Nohr shall marry Luna. I'm sure the overly competitive girl will appreciate a husband who is described as 'a perfectionist who can handle any task flawlessly'.

Confirmed by Nintendo on Twitter, Corrin and Bayonetta will be released on the afternoon of Feb. 3rd.
EDIT: I'll give a URL link, because embing the tweet isn't working for me.
EDIT2: Nevermind. Forum must have just been looking weird on my monitor, I guess.

My experience with FFXIV is just with trying out the demo that was available on PSN when I got my PS4 back in Christmas 2014. I did enjoy it, though I wasn't enticed to get the whole game.
I spent time on the Marlboro server. I must be the only FF fan who has a fondness for the things. (Just equip a Ribbon in your accessory slot before you try to cuddle one.)

I already made my first post elsewhere, but.... Nuke here. Been a backer of Bloodstained for quite some time now, but never bothered to visit this forum even after I got the email to come here. I'm only just now coming back remembering that this forum exists, heh. So hi everyone! I'll be hanging around in the shadows keeping my eye on the updates of Bloodstained, and perhaps occasionally leave a post here and there. Welcome, Nuke. Just please don't self-destruct, you lovable WMD, you.

The most notable thing about the Legacy Collection is that I think it's the first physically released Mega Man game since ZX Advent way back in 2006. That, and the Golden Mega Man amiibo, but, even as an amiibo collector, it doesn't interest me. (As nice as the figures are, the greater thing I buy the amiibos for is their game functionality. Amiibos that will likely have function across multiple games are the most enticing to me. I'll need to see some evidence of the G Mega Man doing stuff that my regular MM amiibo doesn't across multiple games before I take an interest in 24K Mega Man.)
As for MN9, with Comcept taking on more projects then it really should, I wouldn't be surprised if we got another delay, pushing the game back to late Summer or Fall. Also, they'll probably also release Beck and Call cosplay tutorials, have a "Meet Mighty Beck himself!" thing going on at a few conventions, and Beck and Call amiibos before this game releases.

It's funny to see how people flocked to Inafune's corner when he announced this Kickstarter, but now the game seems to have destroyed his reputation.
2013: Screw you, Capcom! You killed Mega Man! Disk-locked content! Well, don't worry, Inafune is our savior, Mighty No. 9 will show you how it's done!
2016: Urgh, Inafune is a #$@%ing hack! Endless delays! Never telling us all those additional Red Ash stretch goals! Grr! Capcom, you've been, er... generally inoffensive lately. I just might get the Legacy Collection.
I agree with the commenters who say that what they should do is release the game without online, then patch in the online later. While I do put stock into the 'A delayed game is good eventually, a rushed game is bad forever' viewpoint, the amount of delays this game has gotten is getting cartoonish.

I'm actually really liking the scarf she got. Looking forward to seeing how it moves in her all animations in the game.
As for the shaders, for the character shader, definitely 3. Background is harder to decide. Background 3 certainly is more eyecatching, but there's some stuff about Background 1 that I like.
I don't have much experience in art and such, so verbalizing why I'd like one shader over the other would be tricky for me. So all I'll say is that, for character: most definitely shader 3. For background: I feel a little conflicted, but just slightly favoring shader 3.

Had an interesting episode with my cats today.
I declined to sit at the chair in front of my home computer and just leaned forward to get my head level with the monitor. That was the cue for one of my cats to jump on my back and lie down. So I spent short moment walking around leaning forward like I had some severe back pain in order to prevent myself from disturbing the cat. I eventually got her off my back after about 5 or so minutes of this.
The cat in question, she's named Princess, is the most openly affectionate of my cats. I've had countless occasions where I'm playing some online game (which, y'know, can't be paused) at which point she jumps up in my lap and wants to cuddle. Probably pawing at my face to try and get my attention.
