I wonder what it would be like if your health and such were shown as those stain glass circles quite a few of you members have.(Or roses) They could only show up for a few seconds when you get hit, so all the atmosphere people can get a kick out of that. Magic power could be shown on the character. The more you use, the less color on her person. So when she's drained, she could appear black and white. Replenish it and her color comes back. Or vise versa. Though I don't think that would work for the colorblind. So her walking animation could change the more she takes damage? As much as real time menus are swell and all that, I and many others still would like the ability to pause. I agree with Astaroth as far as it being detrimental to a crafting style game. I also agree about the status effects showing up as colors above the character. Though I think symbols should be used too. Poison- Bubbles, HP Drain- Spark, Stone- Self-explanatory,etc.

If I had the mantle, I'd take forging items and run with it. Become the tinkerer or even inventor. Build a swagwago-I mean a vehicle for possible faster transport. You can even customize the look of it. I know what you are thinking, "Building such vehicles in this time period, INSIDE A CASTLE!? MADNESS!" Nay. FUN! It's very fun. I actually WOULD like to be able to forge motorized weapons and items. Building a chainsaw sounds like a ton of fun. I don't think ANY of this will happen, but I like the sound of it.

Not a bad idea. The world could be torn to shreds, so to speak. Then while in you platform, the world could be tearing itself apart in the background while also affecting the platforming.

I want to have a choice. Having the choice to make the game as comfortable or challenging as I please would work best for me.
I chose a different reference as far as that. If I had to spitball a game for this to be close to in terms of difficulty, how about Portrait of Ruin or Cave Story?

It coming out in 2016 is as likely as Cryamore and A Hat in Time coming out in 2014.(They didn't, and only one of those projects seems close to completion. Poor Poor Cryamore.)
It's rare that I see any kickstarter game come out at the estimated delivery date. So I'm actually expecting Bloodstained to drop in 2018. :S

I just heard about Curses N' Chaos yesterday, is that game any good? Zombiebuni and I started playing it today, it is really addicting and the music is awesome. Is that right? Well, I'll give it a look at some point. Maximillian is streaming the prototype right now! What a DOOD! (I'm sorry...) Tell people about the stream people. Max has a way with hype. --->>Sub Edit. The stream was mostly positive, but they were mostly talking about Street Fighter 5 and barely seemed interested in the game. Most in the stream wanted him to play Mario Party 10 and one guy even donated $1000 to Max for him to do it. Max said he donated to the campaign, but doesn't want to play it. He doesn't play RPGs. Ok, that was a bit of a wash. At least someone of his popularity tried it. EDIT: New character who uses a rapier!

Long day, also a hectic day at work. Came home to some minor drama. I've come to a realization that I should probably move far away and basically leave the area. Cut a tie or two. *sigh*
I'll probably get over it later, but the entitlement at home is starting to become bothersome. Oh well.
Hope everyone is doing ok. I donated to Indivisible. I'm just chilling at home on my day off. All will be good, I'll make sure of that.

I remember when I marathoned Silent Hill 1-4 with a friend of mine. We taped like 5 covers over the windows to block out any sunlight to heighten the scares. lol I played the first one in the dead morning due to scheduling issues and was still scared witless. A great horror game doesn't need you to further heighten the scares in my opinion. 2 should be even more so when I get to it. Dead Space 1 did nothing for me. I played that one in the dead of night at 2 AM pitch black room and I didn't even jump once. I only played at night for that one due to scheduling as well. Never understood why people found it scary; I also found it bit more frustrating than fun more times than once for me. What am I playing now? Nothing.

I must be tired, because it took me about 10 minutes to figure out what you guys were talking about.(Just got back from a long day graveyard shift) Guest characters!!?? MY BOY SHOVEL KNIGHT?!?!? Just reading that list is making my head explode. I just heard about Curses N' Chaos yesterday, is that game any good? Anyway, George the dragon hunter has arrived! purifyweirdshard The link was a gif of Ajna and the 3 incarnations flying on a missile in outer space to TJ Combo's theme song in the new Killer Instinct. The reason it was blocked? The original url had the word "hentai" in it would be my guess...despite there being no hentai or anything objectionable in it whatsoever. *sigh* Hope you don't get in trouble.

There are definitely no pressing controversies with this campaign. I know this because I check practically every single day. Believe me when I say that the Skullgirls community is rather underrated. They're good people and when there are issues, they tend to resolve themselves very quickly. I know this because I've seen it.(It doesn't hurt that Mike Z is always around to answer questions) These guys are as clean as a vacuum sealed whistle. Go give this campaign as much support as possible. THIS RIGHT HERE!Zone made this awesome, killer, completely safe for work and for families gif that doesn't just get me HYPED, it made me realize that the music in the new Killer Instinct is worth a listen. All this to promote this game! Trust me, it's worth a look.

I was at work last night and I decided to tune in to the classical radio station. I hear the dude on the radio talking about a man inspired by Quincy Jones from Japan who did music for anime, video games, and movies. I was sitting there going "WAIT, this station does gaming composers too?!"
I come to find out that this man is none other than the composer for quite a few Ghibli movies and Ni no Kuni. I may not be the biggest die hard fan of Ghibli who's seen all of their output, but I do love the music in the ones I have seen without a doubt.

Sony save Indivisible? It's possible, but that could lead into some other issues that might have plagued the Shenmue kickstarter.
I was confident that "Them's Fightin' Herds would be overfunded within the week. I was wrong.
I was confident that Indiegogo wouldn't be much of an issue at all for this campaign. I was wrong. And the reasons why I was wrong here might apply to Herds as well.
I've been following these dudes since Skullgirls was simply Fillia and Cerebella. I know a good amount of what they went through as an outsider, and most of it was tragic with a few major triumphs here and there. Though if I had one single thing I can safely say they should have NEVER done was partner with Konami as far as Skullgirls. Granted they probably helped with money and gave them easier access to Ms. Yamane, but those are small compared to how they held them back in the end. If there's at least one dude who wants these dudes to succeed, it's me.
I'm thinking the same thing, going on kickstarter and asking for a bit more money to cover the fees would have worked better. I mean, if Muv Luv can get 1 million...1. MILLION...a visual novel that's been leaked endlessly to the point where most interested have already played it, then this would have been an overwhelming success.(Also damnit, I missed that one. I would have needed like 80 bucks to get what I wanted and that just couldn't have happened at the moment)
I want to believe, but I'm losing faith. I say let the dudes who keep insisting they won't get their money back get surprised and embarrassed once they get the notification of a deposit....should this fail. ....please don't....
