Oooh another thing, the Morte demon, I think when we kill it while its upside down, it should "drip" down as part of it's death animation. Did the Morte demons on the ceiling ever attack you? I tried to get one to do something to me but it just walked across the ceiling nonchalantly. Again, early demo, so they'll probably get ceiling-based attacks down the road if the devs decide to keep that facet of them in the game. I don't know if this was answered yet but yes Morts attack, when I bumped into it (which I never did before) like six arms (or four) came out of it and tried to attack, I'm not sure if it can actually grab you. I need to do a death run to see what the enemies really do and I've never seen the death animation. so I'm gonna play the demo again EDIT: ok I found out it doesn't matter if you bump into them you just have to be next to them and yes they do grab and choke the life out of you. it's kinda cool.

I don't know if it's been said before but I'd want to see her in different era clothing... also: 90's grunge 80's neon punk clothes 70's disco 60's hippy 20's outfit (both gangster and flapper girl)
and maybe a pirate outfit. and a trench coat a'la soma cruze.

Well, apparently we want this in the game (I know not everyone but many) so XombieMike submit this already (or not I'm not pushy lol). Anyway what kind of weapon specific actions are you guys looking forward to of Iga agrees to include this game mechanic in the bloodstained? I personally really want the multiple Rapier thrusts back (I really don't know what to call that).

I took another look at the game and yes my theory still stands... the male part of that theory doesn't (the guys always kinda had less clothes though). if you look at the design the females have substantially more clothes then than Carmilla (sadly the only female on the "dark" side).

I played the demo again (love it!!!) and I was just thinking they should have a chun-li style hundred kick for some (or one) of the boots in the game or something... I wonder if that is copying too much from capcom, maybe bloodstained could use a quarter-circle+attack movement to make it work, like many of the SotN weapon attack commands.

Pure Miriam I understand what you mean, it would be nice to see every enemy have a shard, and yes I do agree it would push the devs to think really creatively (actually it would be awesome to see that kind of game) but this castle will have A LOT of monsters in it, so having a shard for each monster might be a bit hard (though I do think there will be enough for us to have fun with) and there will be a crafting system in this game as well which I think there will be a item and/or monster core for every monster out there. Though I do go with the majority that it is not needed, I still think your idea is way cool and if Mort did have a shard, I think it would be cool of it could be used to turn into slime to reach unreachable areas.. or stick to the wall or ceiling.

wow Mehve now that you mention it, no they never attacked me... but they are like zombies from castlevania... they just walk... maybe there will be more pro-active types later in the game, some that ooz and poison you, or maybe even throwing sludge. I would like to see them grab the players or something

This is a small part of the game that I think adds a lot. There's a lot of features, information/lore, stats, ect... that can go in. So what cool additions would you like to see? for the Enemy encyclopedia, I would love to see, 3D models that you can turn/flip and play with, like see it's death animation or different attacks. I know it's been done many times before but it is something I still want to see.

purifyweirdshard I know, it was a good extra, I know it wasn't for everyone but for those people who liked it, I think it should be implemented... again it is not needed to beat the game, and if people don't like it then they don't need to use it. I just think it would add more flavor to this game. Edit: Oh and for the one button attacks... maybe one of them could be a simple down+attack for a downward thrust move a'la link's adventure... maybe for one sword or a few sword types.

I know Iga once said he was shying away from these special inputs... but please put them in in some way... that was the most awesome thing about getting new weapons in SotN, finding new weapon spells... and mastering Alucard's magic... it was not needed to beat the game it just added extra stuff to the game, which in my opinion was the best part of SotN.

- The shadow when Miriam "goes through the wall" (most likely they will fix this)

Played the demo again (actually multiple times) but got some more feed back: - the sound when walking on water does not sound natural
- the sound for getting the magic power up should sound like breaking glass (just a thought)
Iga and his team is doing awesome keep up the excellent work.

I don't think "armor" will changes Miriam's look, I'm hoping there will be a place you can specifically change Miriam's looks and costumes... maybe her room? or in the "system" part of the menu.

Wow so much talk about boobs lol but really this is par for the course. In many castlevania games there are overly sexy demons like the succubi, liliths and venus weeds.
I think it is the contrast between good and evil. Where the "good" female characters are modestly dressed (for the most part) and "evil" females are scantily clad or close to nude. This is only true with Iga's castlevania games, not the other games (eg Castlevania Judgment). Or at least this is my opinion.
That is the point of Castlevania, or at least the heart of it, which is what Bloodstained is trying to catch... the battle between good and evil.
P.S. Oh and don't get it twisted, I am not saying boobs are evil, I am saying "loose morals" are in the realm of evil.

Nuke that's what I mean, I know it was only Zelda, but I believe this was the first time in many years that Nintendo was even in the running for "winning" E3. I don't believe the whole "who won E3" thing but I think Nintendo did awesome for what they had. I'd like to thank every one for commenting on this thread and sharing their thoughts on E3.
