Asking for more money before fixing the mess, that's developer entitlement. They are not asking for money. They are asking what kind of items you are interested in, so they can make them. If you don't want them, you don't have to buy them. It's called taking our opinion in consideration. Entitlement is whining about a publisher not giving away for free things that cost money to make. Entitlement is demanding they not talk about it until disaffected players get something else they want first. AGAIN: making assets has ZERO to do with how fast they can patch the game. ZERO. So now you get to define what entitlement means? it's always on the gamer's side and not the developer's side Great! I think Actiblizz is hiring community manager, you definitely fit for the job.

i always find it funny when ppl say rotn difficulty is comparable to aos. I bet most of you have forgotten about AOS and I suggest you go back to play AOS

The people who are working on the Switch version bugs/fixes aren't doing much/anything with creating assets/graphics. This is for the future and isn't taking away from that effort, which is what the teams are focused on right now (current release improvements). Microtransactions are when the game asks or forces you to buy something to get you through the game or that allows you access to in-game currency via your real $. Cosmetics/skins don't fall under that. "Pay to win" also isn't much of a factor that would apply to a game like this. I'm all for it because I want to see some of these things, but also because I like supporting them and trust them with the money to do the right things with it. The track record has been clearly positive with that so far (to me/my experience, I know this is not the case with everyone). I can kind of see the completionist argument, but to say that they're "only selling it to milk completionists" is going a bit far. I don't think it would bump up the % possible and be counted as extra, such as with the code items. You can't have all possible color/hair choices of Miriam at all times, either, and that's fine too. "If it exists, I must have it", is a matter of being OCD and not something the game/content delivery model should be faulted for, imo, when it doesn't count against/for your official completion. Wonder how many DOA players were able to survive being like that heh. Not all things are for all people, and if this isn't for you, I think it should be ignored while other people can consume it and fund more (free) Bloodstained. I think the game is selling incredibly, but it's also going to be costly still to make free DLC for the next x amount of time that they're planning to, and then however long it takes for the sequel. ArtPlay specifically doesn't have any cash flow besides Bloodstained - this is it, they don't have money funneling in from other projects and things that they've done as if they're all big name Konami employees still, on a set and guaranteed payroll because they're so big and can be put on other things whenever. There are no other things. Anyway, the main idea here, as the survey says, is to have folks pay for non-essential things to make essential things free (in addition to the already-promised 13 free DLCs). I think people are missing this, because I think I even did or read over that the first time? haha. I was at work and wanted to click my outfits, leave me alone Now you are talking like EA.. it's not loot boxes, it's surprise mechanics. Hell no, do not turn bloodstained into cashcow. the survey is rigged. There is no option to say no to the DLC.

Not defending Bloodstained but you need to look at MN9 and Shenmue 3 to know what worst kickstarter campaign is like.

GOG version here. I have 100% achievement. If the achievement doesn't register, I suggest loading earlier save file then try again.

I suppose my only complaint would be that the 8 Bit Overlord should have a drop rate similar to the rest of the optional bosses (12 or 15 %). He currently only has a 4% drop rate which is infuriating since you always need to go through a special level just to get to him. I have one shard and have been grinding against this guy for hours. i killed it 77 times to upgrade the shard to grade 9. It was a nightmare

I guess I'm in the minority in finding this game too hard. I should note that when I played through it I just played it straight, just using what the game gave me as I went. I didn't farm for shards nor did I farm for exp. I never looked up broken equipment combinations or exploits/glitches. I would think that I played the game the way most players would. I have previously played Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia and I find RotN to be harder than SotN, AoS and DoS. I never finished OoE because that game was just too difficult.
I still think it's a good idea to add an easy difficulty for those who want that.
The only reason I was able to beat RotN is because I bought a TON of healing items and abused them like crazy in the final parts of the game. It didn't feel good to do so though.
I know you are not a fan of grinding but for OOE, you can AFK farm the attribute point to 65535 then the game will become easier

SotN and Bloodstained RotN are hands down the two easiest IgaVanias. But at least Bloodstained has not one, but two harder difficulties. (I don't count AxeArmour mode as a difficulty setting). The main thing that makes these two games so easy is the sheer number of broken items/abilities at your disposal. Your bound to find at least one and breeze through the rest of the game. At least Bloodstained has nothing on the level of the Alucard shield+shield rod... ROTN is easier than AOS?

I was curious to know if we got a different ending after collecting everything, like a "turned evil" ending if all shards were fully upgraded. I heard there was only 2 endings, but maybe there's an undiscovered secret ending? Has anyone tried beating the game after all shards were upgraded? There are 3 endings

DSLevantine it's an exaggeration on his part I assume but it's certainly an uncommon stance as far as I know of what the general opinions on OoE are. Somehow, I got all the medals in OOE on my first play through. the crab - took me a few tries to learn the pattern the giant - he is so slow and I just spammed all the arrows on him the fish - took me a few tries to learn the pattern too, not so hard sea monster - easy man eater - easy centaur - iirc need to watch out for the crossbow? albus - jump to the back and absorb acerbatus barlowe - this one gave me some problems, I wonder why the third hit of the teleport punches always got me. blackmore - i think this is the hardest boss as i died too many times and there is no where to run

This game is definitely harder than ... OOE I'd like to personally congratulate you on being the only person on earth with this opinion. So, you have asked all the people on earth and come up with that conclusion or you are just spouting nonsense?

strongly disagree with 3. Do you even know how powerful you can get in AOS and OOE? This game is definitely harder than AOS DOS OOE POR HOD SOTN, compare apple to apple, the difficulty argument doesn't hold water. I need to stress that maybe some of you got used to games like dark soul but that's not the way rotn should be.

Im on normal and damn its too easy! the first boss was easy, only zangetsu kill me a couple of times but dont know if my save have an issue but Item/shard drop rates its damn high, mods give the shard so easy!! im playing on normal so dont know if its working like should be, but im getting the shards so easy, like some days ago kill 3 differents mobs in one room (lili, a face dog and a morte) everyone give the shard at the same time, im on Xbox but this is getting boring, I'm just lvl 22/24 and valac, bathin and the train was so easy, I mean every fight took just like a minute or less and there's no strategy, just used my shards and keep attacking with my sword.. But damn it's so boring, guess gonna start again on hard mode but i stopped playing waiting a update, maybe therers some fix under hood Maybe you should go for the medal in nightmare mode

Igavania is not a game that focus on difficulty. I think this game is harder than aos and ooe and I am a bit disappointed with that. Igavania should remain as Igavania.

The last thing I hope that can be added in is a harder mode then nightmare that let us go up level 255(like Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia),new equipment, let us make shards more powerful on this mode, new shards, make enemies 3-5x stronger, new monsters and some of the things I ask for you can make into shards so we can earn them. I can one shot almost every boss (except crab and centaur) in LV255 ooe , please bring that back as well.

I would say the strategy book and the artbook are underwhelming. I think the artbook is mediocre and the strategy book is not even fit to be called as a strategy book.
