It looks like ass since it was a 3DS game first. I disagree. It looks great and a huge improvement over the 3DS. But I actually liked MoF, so I'm a little biased. Wow. So I'm not the only one...

Man, I've never been a big Simon fan, but his new character redesign is looking really good... I agree completely. Buer is looking pretty good as well

@goobsausage I think you're just confused. Its not about character "re-designs". People are mad because they're using a traced picture of Hector (see below) and calling it "Simon Belmont" He even still has the Devil Forgemaster symbol in his back. But how can I expect Konami to know their IPs. Konami is Konami after all.

You and many others may not know Curse of Darkness very well since it isn't particularly a popular Castlevania or an IGAvania game...but they have that game's main character (Hector) pictured with Simon's name under it, as in Simon Belmont. They have a picture of Dracula on the right with Hector's name under it, identifying him further (correctly if it was the right picture) as a devil forgemaster. So basically...like in that video, apparently Konami themselves think that this is Simon. It's "just like the NES game". At least with the pachislot games, they are side stories and have enough canon details and characters correct to attract nostalgia, this version over here, an actual slot machine, is just them being extraordinarily lazy because they figure the casual gambling market will at most say "oh, Castlevania, this must be Simon? lol cool" Castlevania character designs have changed constantly over the past 30 years, though. It may very well be that they're changing again rather than "lol, Hector and Simon and Dracula got mixed up". Oh my god.... You're being serious...?

I would love their updates to be a little more consistent. Like 1st day of every month or something like that. But that's my only complaint about this whole Kickstarter campaign so I should be grateful.

I remember the Morte Cannons had slight differences if you looked closely. I imagine it's safe to say the procedural generation will be used for that too!

Is it going to be used to make the game... or is it going to be use within the game (Like random enemy placement)?

Order of Ecclesia had shields... sure, they were equippable as arm weapons but they blocked damage from certain directions... What if theres an all directional shield in the game via shard? Didn't Aria of Sorrow also have a shield form an enemy soul?

(deleted as requested by staff) . Yeah. Definitely understandable. But at least a mere "Castlevania exists" from Konami would make me feel a bit better. But Konami is Konami and Konami is the worst. #FuckKonami

Happy 30th Castlevania anniversary Iga! I'm sure you would have something planned to celebrate if you were still under control of the series.

Konami clearly doesn't have anything planned to celebrate so we can assume no game is currently being developed. Goodbye Belmont clan, we will miss you.

What was Disney's last ground breaking, world famous title, popular with kids and adults? Something that got people talking? For the sake of my own sanity I will assume you're either trolling or you've been living under a rock your whole life. Doesn't matter which one... I have more productive things to do with my time than engaging with trolls or people who have no clue what the hell is going on.

Literally none of this is true. On what grounds? Japanese animation is definitely not more diverse than Western animation. And certainly not more popular. I have no clue how you could reach that conclusion. Ever heard of Disney? I'm going to take a guess and say you have.

Japanese cartoons are much more popular in general, and as a result there are more of them. Because there's so many there's a huge effort to make them different or diverse, as well as expand on animation techniques. Literally none of this is true.

I'd love to see more of the outside of the castle as well. Gardens around, a cemetery grave maybe ? A large bridge, I mean besides the Galleon. I loved SOTN, but it kinda felt you were stuck in a 100% closed building. Thats odd. I never felt that way and i've played the game so many times. Theres quite a few areas that take place outside like the castle entrance right after the bridge, that area with the impaled people, most of the castle keep, broken clocktower bridge, and that huge area with the fountain inside Olrox's quarters. Not to mention you can see the outside in alot of areas even if the character isn't there like the chapel and outer wall. Im sure you already know all this but I still can't quite see what you mean.
