Welcome! Is your avatar Asuka on Hilde's body? That's amazing As for the topic at hand, Miriam's scream clips were a common discussion point for the 2018 demo feedback. Some thought the clip itself needed work yeah, and I'd say a good number of people thought perhaps it shouldn't be on every new shard, be switched off entirely, etc. However nixonthevixen, the main difference in those two screams you're comparing which I'm surprised no one else has pointed out yet, is that one is the Japanese actress and the other is the English. So nothing has changed, the two voice tracks are the same two different ones, and you can access either of them at any time during gameplay by pressing all of the shoulder buttons at once. If absolutely nothing at all is done with the shard yell in the final game, you'll be able to use the "2017" voice still anyway.

lool the one I don't have is the Xbox vers too. In the back of my mind, I consider getting a One X for the HDR/4k rather than a Pro. My PC...eh, not sure that'll work out.

I wouldn't despair in harmony yet, we don't know what the "vanilla" copies will lack (or not lack) quite yet. It may too be a simple matter of adding late-available DLC or something. As for the main question itself - as someone with 4 copies already, yeah should have went for more

Achievements are digital collectible "badges of honor" that some people care about and others not. I tend to be somewhere in between on them - I think they're neat and amusing sometimes, and it's cool to see the thought and ideas developers put into their achievements sometimes, but I almost never go out of my way to get them.
You and other players can go compare your trophies to someone else, and it can be a motivation factor when there are "hidden trophies/achievements", giving you the idea that the game has something you haven't seen yet that the dev may want you to. Getting them increases your overall gamer "score" and "level", which absolutely does nothing but again, some gamers care about the bragging rights and in their mind this plays into obviously the "completion" of the game. It's certainly a lot of work and something to be said for getting a Platinum in a game like Bloodborne etc, whereas the only one I remember getting is the extremely easy one for the original Telltale Walking Dead game. I wasn't even trying to get that, I just did the other story path it had and since that's all you can do in the game...and yeah lol.

I'm glad to know you played the game, because it had crossed my mind as something I thought you'd enjoy lol.
The "frenzy" status effect was never a good time. You are correct that satisfaction in that game is like nothing else. I was able to beat everything solo except Ludwig, and apparently the Henriett NPC summon is preeetty good there.
Perhaps we need a Bloodborne topic. haha

I wasn't overly fond of chalice dungeons for the first several I did and so lost interest, unfortunately, but I love Bloodborne. As neat as seeing some of the new bosses was, I couldn't stand just getting "tomb mold" for my trouble each time lol.

The same each time, and the same for everyone. The generation is performed and kept in-house during development, not in our respective consoles/PCs when we play it.
That is however by necessity most likely not the case for the roguelike mode, which would use a probably completely different thing to make unique levels each time. That "generation" wouldn't be much like the detail-making generation they used for assets during the game's development, and it may even keep the structure of the main game, just with the areas/rooms mashed together in different ways - kind of like how the Harmony of Despair maps were built.

Looking again at the Gebel comparison released a few months ago, in the trailer he looks different from even that - something almost between these two images? I'm not sure if I'd lean toward better or worse, but he doesn't look bad at all. What I think we could be seeing too here is "dialogue scene" Gebel vs "full cutscene Gebel", kind of how as before characters looked different in those respective contexts, but I'm not sure. The ideal I was hoping for was that they could manage to make dialogue scene models = cutscene models, but if they both look good while still being different, that's fine too. And actually, you know what? "Dialogue" Gebel up there looks...quite like a dialogue "portrait" of old. Very cool if they can get everyone to that, on top of somehow keeping customization items and voicing. Bonus, here's what he looked like in the 2018 demo cutscene.

I think Pure M will allow customization like the original outfit, and the rest of them (if there are more) will too. So therefore, if "elegant vampire" from the feedback poll becomes a real thing in the game, someone would be able to recreate their Joseph's Cloak version of Alucard in the game with Miriam (...or, potentially, with Gebel/Mysterious Man or whoever else - I hadn't thought about this until now, but I wonder if the other playable characters will have outfit customization? All white angel Dominique )
