I like how you think on that last one. For the other things, some of that may not have even been decided yet. It would be neat to hear some info, though. If you were set on things being a certain way, the particulars could be handled by special request from an additional survey option, but I'm thinking the amount of people that would be so specific about this would be very few and only become a significant demand when the option presents itself. I would hate for things to be more complicated than they already are for Fangamer. That being said, maybe us igavaniacs could work something out, and there of course are always possible events that we can get our things signed. Yeah, a cover for Mike would be cool.
And now the questions are on this forum, never too late for answers, or discussions.

Hey!
Name in Credits, have surely gotten a looot of names, and under different types of clans too! If not under communities that is!
I am curious.. I have seen a bunch of kickstarter projects becoming "done" now, and even though I haven't backed the majority of those, I have seen a common lazy treat. - The Name in Credits "page", are fast-scrolling text on a solid backdrop. That is like super boring!
Here are some suggestions, from simple to advanced.
1. Floating text on an animated backdrop. Have something in the backdrop doing a loop, or something to actually look at if you do not care about all those epic names.
2. Have all clans / communities in sections, like represented on the kickstarter site. Combine it with above!
3. Like those two above, but instead of same animated backdrop, have different ones to fit the theme of each clan / community.
4. Combine it with a music-room or a theater, where we can watch cut scenes from the game once we finished them, and have the text scrolling with control up / down for faster / slower speed on the side, or below the music or cinematic window / frame.
5. If we are a backer with a Name in the Credits, if we enter THAT exact name, let the game register it and when we finish the game, a special "thank you for backing this game and joining the army of the night [Placeholder Name], eternal gratitude from your master IGA" or similar.

I have voted to keep Natsume-san's art style as an identity aspect of Bloodstained, and the reason is a rather personal one: the expressions he achieves for Myriam heavily reminds me of Shanoa, which is something i wouldn't like in any other way. Slipcase / Slipcover Questions!- Will the slipcase have same print front / back or will Ayame-san just have her print on the front with the same backside as the original gamebox backside? Or.. Will the slipcase be blank on the backside to allow for signature of IGA-san?
- Will signature from Ayame-san be present on this slipcase? The kickstarter mentions IGA-san and Yamane-san, but only IGA-san on the slipcase while Yamane-san will sign the soundtrack album.
- Will Ikeda-san (Mana's) signature be on the slipcase along with IGA-san, and if possible Ayame-san and Yamane-san too?
- Would the community be interested in getting a stand-alone slipcase, to send around the world for OUR signatures, to give to Sir XombieMike The First? This along with travel-pictures and a good cardboardbox to cover it?

Some interesting ideas from the forum, different topics.
1. When playing other characters, re-arrange the music. If there are three different versions of the same piece of music. For example if Zangetsu are playable, add in more japanese drums and such. Another way would be to add a filter over the game, so some sound effects are in that theme instead, to blend a bit into the music every now and then. In that way, it would be the sound effects apartment, and not the music itself. Another route could be that playing all three characters just unlock more music for us to listen to. For example. In a long hallway there are two tunes originally, but we only hear one with Miriam, second character we play, there will two, and from there on out, always two.
2. If it happens that you guys have more than one artwork for the official box cover, perhaps let the backers decide with a poll via kickstarter.
3. Changing costumes is a thing, we know this. From the concept art it also seems Miriam are getting other colors on her dress aswell. Wouldn't it be nice for enemies to have some different colors depending on which character you play, or as costumes as well? I would suggest re-color on enemies only if this would be a thing.
4. Some wish for more subtitles in many more languages. Would IGA support the fans in this matter, even though Konami did a "not so good voice expression"? TIf there would be fan-service for subtitles, would someone allow it for being modded or patched?
5. Many seems to like the idea of all three characters feel equal, details such as actually having a menu for all of them, and give them time to evolve. So it would feel like the game are about them, when playing as them. The lore and such could be cut out ofc, to save the cannon for Miriam, but Zangetsu with lots of different attacks, and option to enter the menu to trigger, take and change things would be an example of what would make him, if playable, equal towards Miriam. We believe (or I rather do) that IGA have had a bit more time on Bloodstained, and knowing he have given many other games so much more in terms of playable characters in the past, it would feel natural that he progress from it, and makes it better and better.
Sidenote: All ideas, could be in future patches, if these are a thing. Same goes with mods, if they would to be accepted - why not patch them in? Just some ideas.

I think Mana is a better substitute. Whoops did that come out of my mouth? There I go being negative again. I'd think i'd be happy with either Mana or Kojima and that's saying something. REALLY excited for Mana doing box art ( which isn't confirmed but.......the possibility is there ) Maybe let the backers vote on what should be the official box art? So it be two different artists, or just Mana
Too much work perhaps. Getting the slipcase, so in my opinion the boxart will be double artwork for me anyways.

How about we start a Kickstarter to hire Ayami Kojima as the main artist for Bloodstained? She didn't have the time to fully commit to such endeavor. This is why she makes 1 exclusive piece for us, which will be revealed at a later date. We know it will decorate the slipcase from tier $60 and beyond.

Another neat feature for extra playable characters could be remixed versions of the original soundtrack to let the players experience the game in a different way through music. For example, when playing as Zangetsu, the soundtrack could incorporate some traditional Japanese instruments. "I am interested in this" I like this idea very much! Cool!Another point is that CSOTN PS1 was rushed. Imagine how Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night will be, with more time, and enough budget! I guess, if I know you right Les, you are trying to avoid thinking about it too much, like me. In an attempt to not hype yourself up. But just knowing IGA get enough time, and the time he feels are needed (and with progress!) is just fantastic.
Aside of this, extra playable characters (back to topic) are something they maybe have really put energy into. Other playable characters might have been super rushed in other IP's, and if anything is different, then we might see these two characters feel more like main characters with a more advanced moveset and such.
I saw Zangetsu having his demon vanish cards, and it were glowing in Mana's piece of art. I wonder if these cards are a trigger thing, or if the cards are actual changing with sub-weapons or additional curses / magic.
I also noticed Dominique and Anne are in front of Johannes, leaving him so much back means he together with Alfred are the driving forces of the story. And Alfreds face are huge, it usually means they are "hidden" or "thinking" on something, possibly evil things, or what seems righteous to them. Gebel is shown with fire and Gebel and Zangetsu are the two that show their additional powers.
Could it be that Gebel is the playable character instead of Dominique? If so, would we be pleased by it?
This is of course only based out of my thoughts from Mana Ikeda's artwork. Thoughts?

This is the most Ayami Kojima piece out of everything released so far and it's from the original artist. Now, the important part in this is that as you said it's a spiritual successor and spiritual successors are meant to evoke the game it's clearly influenced by. You see it with THAT GAME THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED, you see it with The Evil Within, and you see it here. I thought this piece was by Yuji Natsume, Inti Creates. Ayami Kojima only had time to make 1 piece, and that has not been revealed yet - and it will be used for the slip cover / cover case you get in higher tiers.

Wonder if it is coming to be completely pixelated like the first Castlevania? The prequel will be this, and the room we find in the main game will be also pixelated. We do not know what type of bit-graphics are in talks, but the 8bit music are a given since that was promised.

I believe the forums would be a good start but, eventual we should branch the project to others outside of the fan community. We could possibly try and contact some journalists and start going up the publicity ladder, personally I think gamexplain would be our best bet to show our wishes to Iga. anyways just some pondering don't take it too seriously. IGA visit this forum, and this forum is official, you also have direct connection with many others that are working on Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night officially one way or the other.
