Wish granted, but you are sucked into the game, then died off screen. I wish everyone becomes a shard binder.

It's Mircotransaction, I think? Anyway, Cyborg form for $5. Chaos horns for $4.
Corrupted Miarim and Gibel attacking humans, with the help of a mad Alfred and dark Zangetsu. Maybe also Anne, Dominique and Johannas. For $20.

I wouldn't mind special sanarios, enhanced enemies and even mini-bosses. Just imagine a few axe knights suddenly jump into the room and try to throw their axe at you while the one to your immediately left attempt to swing. You can, of course, use your tentacle shard to make short work of them but at the same time they can easily mess you up. Or this lion enemies that is quicker has a bigger sword who ate her husband that you need to track down, who will caually one shot a low level Miraam.

It really looks like this project is just another MN9 disaster, at least when it comes to graphics. What a shame, but i guess that's inevitable when you optimize the game for PS Vita. I can't imagine they will change anything significant this late into development. I don't think Vita has anything to do with this - they never released a actual Vita screenshot yet. More importantly, it's about lighting and art direction, so I really don't see how adjusting contrast makes the game easier to run on lesser hardware... Vita is the only platform who cannot push this level of graphic. Switch, however, can do this causally while the home consoles and good pcs will obliterate it. 1070 and up or PS4 Pro/ Xbox One X should at least accomplish 4k60 if not on better details.

A part of me's tempted to say "absolutely no Crissaegrims," but then again, I would have never known the Crissaegrim even existed if I hadn't heard about it elsewhere, and even then, I've never done enough grinding to get one. I'd be lying if I said the existence of the Crissaegrim negatively impacted my experience. Fought with Alucard set first. Then obliterated Dracula with the Crissaegrims once, then Alucard shield several times. Good thing it got nurfed in later games. Still broken with succubus soul in Aria of sorrow.

Think Alucard shield and that sword that was dropped in the reversed gallery in SOTN, red Monituar soul and Dracula combo in AOS, and many others that will obliterate bosses in seconds. They are more terrifying than backstep attack if everything connects.
Right now both bat and arrows are broken (got behind Zengetsu's back and shot 9 arrows at once, each dealing 34 damages) (poison Kurui and stinger add poison to arrow, I believe), though not everyone will grind that hard. (of course the cost could be rebalanced in the full game)
To those unaware of Alducard shield + shield rod, there is a spell that activates dealing 255 collision damage to whoever touches you, heals 8 health and 1 heart per tick, and grants 3 seconds of invincibility per tick while draining your mp. It will obliterate Dracula in a few seconds.

My choice right now is Zengetsu, being the main character of the side game. Gibel and Alfred are definitely no go, with Gibel being only a copy of Miraam with limited abilities, and Alfred being too weak. Dominique could work, possibly as a faithful Belmont clone, and the other alchemist could work too, being younger. Of course I don't mind Zengetsu, Gibel and Alfred teaming up.

lovelydumpling I rather push the example that best represented the game conceptual or not than push the second best thing. If they can't hit the conceptualized idea fine but at least push the one thing where it looked it's absolute best. Aim high so you can get the best out of the project, don't aim mid tier. As i've already said, let's not act like they couldn't get close to hitting that shot because the boat was GREATLY improved visually and looks somewhat comparable to that 2016 shot. It's got great lighting, LOADS of effects, and color. But what lovelydumpling and estebant are saying is that the asking to know the differences between a non-working concept screen and a playable demo will only get us the answer " well, one is a concept and the other is the best we could do with the actual game." But clearly they can do better with the actual game, as proven by the 2017 protoype, which is why it is our best point of reference for asking why the graphics were downgraded. Anyway, I mean, looking at the facts, I think the reason's fairly obvious... 1. The character models were downgraded, in terms of polygons, textures and lighting. 2. The backgrounds were downgraded, in terms of polygons, textures and lighting. And, would you look at this here... I can run the demo at 60 FPS using only the integrated graphics card in my PC! Seriously, why did I buy a 980TI again... Please bump up the visual fidelity for the PC version. Conclusion: they dropped the quality of the visuals before entering mass production because of either the cost of producing them at that quality, or in order to be able to use the same assets in the Switch and Vita versions, or alternatively (but less likely) in lower spec-ed PCs. This is somewhat irritating, as they claimed to have switched developers in order to achieve a higher level of quality. Now, to be fair, Inti would probably not have been able to complete the game to begin with, but still...we get what's going to amount to a two-year delay to get the visuals " at the right quality," and we get a drop in graphics quality? And no mention of this until we compare the graphics side-by-side? ... *sigh*... EDIT: You guys know what's particularly irritating? Lower spec-ed platforms (Wii-u then Switch, Vita), one of the likely reasons for the downgrade in graphics quality, and a gazillion game modes that half the people won't play - and are likely also a reason for the delay - were all stretch goals they added without thinking about the consequences... All of this highlights the importance of thinking your stretch goals through, and also knowing when to stop. It's really vita at this point. The switch can easily push graphic comparable to this demo in handheld mode.

You can easily cheese the fight with a rapier, which is also affected by Lion's sword mastery, dealing at 30 per slash in addtion to being faster. I cheesed even further with maxed shards. (bats and arrow increase in number with rank)I beat him in 10 seconds tops with the Summon Bat shard at rank 6, which is extremely overpowered, along with the Straight Arrow shard at higher ranks. Being overpowered is not so bad if you actually worked hard for it, but enhancing shards is not even hard. It honestly makes me not want to enhance certain shards just to prevent myself from being overpowered so early in the game, and that's definitely an issue that needs the attention of the dev team. Busterific A possible explanation for that is those enemies are demons, while Zangetsu is a human, so it kinda makes sense that coming in contact with him doesn't damage you. Never knew regular Zangetsu can be so powerful (boss worthy, while still easy). I mean Miraam was so much stronger in Curse of the moon. He appearently has the dash, the jump slash and the hook that we never got to use (or is it the whip). The focus ability actually improves attack, the charm actually does relatively good job for long distance. Now I just want to play as Zangetsu some more.
Stinger was not very hard to make.
And really want to see demon Zangetsu (nightmare mode) mid game.

I am using a switch pro controller, and it is failing mid battle, and in addition to that delayed input. Also there are at least 3 cases of attack not registering, but moving back from another area solves it.

I noticed the same thing. Even increasing its rank doesnt start getting it to help. I am also not certain if it is increasing the attack speed or not. If it is, it is so small it is almost impossible to notice. It does increase for rapier, which I causally obliterated Zangetsu with (his counter cannot reach me). I was doing 30+ attack with rank 1 per slash.

1. Irresponsible control during battle. Switch pro controller. Could be a hardware thing, but none of the other controllers were like this.
2. Shard's stacking effect is unknown. Could definitely use better description. And really curious if I should have gone with selling them. Also, will we get the chaos ring counterpart that grant infinite mp at some point? And why isn't the normal zombie dropping shards?
3. Mouth sync is seemingly as bad as the e3 demo. 4. Would appreciate having her sub-weapons from curse of the moon as shards. 5. Hats are cool, so why cannot we just have a a fully costomizable Miraam with the costumes as abilities. Also I thought the horns were part of her? Is the costume going to get in the way of accessories? 6. Weapon upgrades are fun, but please don't tease us with things that aren't obtainable. 7. I recommend having the ability to look up and down like Hollow Knight. 8. Hunting quests could be a bit more rewarding. Say gold in addition to items. 9. Notice some references there. 10. Hope we get an extra mode. Wouldn't mind a dlc or two. Also evil Miraam could be fun.

You guys could just hire 2-3 good testers and find these problems before-hand instead of letting the public be your alpha testers. Sometimes it's less of a bug and more of a unpleasent feature. I will admit the facial animation bug sounds terrible.

So Zengetsu gets a megaman ish scene in nightmare mode, but Alfred is somehow still alive during Ritual of the Night assuming it's happening in some distant future of curse of the moon, since it's mentioned he is a father figure to a young Alchemist who will appear in COTM.
What the heck is happening exactly? Are Alchemist immortal as well?
