Some more items to note: -1,000,000 EXP was achieved between the levels of 63 & 64 -I also believe A Man in Flames EXP predictions are correct, though I think the EXP is going to go well beyond 2,000,000. (I'm at about LV 75 right now, with EXP currently at 1,624,820, and requiring 64,930 for the next. x_X; ) Going well though. Again a 'fatal error' crash could potentially happen at any given moment, but going to 99 is the plan, Ghost Pepper. :p

Also, some more things to note: (MORE FUN FACTS!) - Around LV 58, the sound cut out entirely for me. No Music, no background noise, no sound FX from Miriam...nothing. (This has made it even harder to keep up the combo, as I now can only go off visual queues)
-Since I've had it running for so long, I've found that the random screen flashes occur more frequently. Still in the same colors, but now occasionally in a black and white static-esque flash, as well.
-You can stand on TOP of the Boss Gate! Wicked, right? (Maybe not that cool, but still one of those 2.5D things that made me chuckle to myself) -Sometimes when going back into Bloodstained, it goes VERY laggy for extended periods of time, then smooths itself out after around 45 minutes or so. Not necessarily a bug, might just be my PC, too. -A feature that I would like changed is for the candelabra drops to restore %'s of MP, rather than a certain amount. (Rather than the roses restoring 5 MP, and the bouquets restoring 10, maybe have roses restore 3.5% of Miriam's Magic bar, and bouquets restore 7%???)

I agree, it could be a fun idea. The problem with having separate EXP is that to level up all the characters = you would have to spend that many more times the...time...lol to get them all =. And I understand you offered an ultimatum by having an item that splits up EXP, but what about until you get said item? You're just gunna have to spend more time LV'ing until you get this "Sherman" ring. Which doesn't sound appealing to me.
Everything else sounds good, just not the whole 'leveling up separately' part lol. :p

I find it extremely irritating when people who have never had ANY interest in Pokémon are now suddenly picking up GO and are like "OMG THIS IS GREEEEAT!" Like wtf. Since when yo ass like Pokémon, chump? Play the main series, it's waaaay better!

I honestly think the reflection in the water is a cool twist on the SOTN inverted castle idea.We will see in the end. Yeah I think it's a really cool idea, too. Like you look at the reflection in the water and it warps you to a totally different castle. :)

Ok, so before you guys yell "EQUIPMENT!" and proceed to throw rotten tomatoes at me, just hear me out. I've been doing a lot of grinding for level in the demo, and one thing that I've noticed is that the numbers are incredibly small in conjunction with leveling. What I mean is, an increase of 1 to INT literally translates to doing one extra damage.
This baffles me.
I mean I know that it's just the demo, and that there's going to be equipment abound, but I feel like that isn't going to be enough. The numbers are simply too small for how much bigger this game is going to be. That's why...I've thought about there being stat-boosting items that will permanently increase Miriam's stats. I mean it would only make sense.
Another reason why I think this is the case is because of the large number of 'Resists' located in the bottom right corner of the menu screen. Does it remind you of anything? It kinda reminds me of Shanoa's elemental potency in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. And what were the two main ways to increase elemental potency? Through mercilessly slaughtering your foes with whatever element you fancied...or by stat-boosting candies. I mean you found them all over the place, it's hard to play that game without finding at least one.
So what do you guys think? Are there going to be other ways of boosting stats, or is this simply a hiccup of the demo?

LeoLeWolferoux i don't know if you're using notepad or excel or maybe just writing everything down from pictures directly to the forum. But if you want it to look a little cleaner and easier to read the stats, there is the excel copy option if you used excel by clicking Tablify, and there's a Table creation option in the Reply as well, for making them from scratch on the forum. I don't know if that will help you write it down faster, but good luck on the grinding. :D Ok, Viftech. I edited my previous posts and made the erratic numbers into tables. Looks much cleaner. Thanks, Vif. Currently I am about LV 55. I'm taking a break right now but I plan to have 50-60 up some time later tonight. :)

^^^ Simply Legendary! If your laptop can keep it up for a few days, and your sanity permitting, perhaps you may be the Champion we need to hit Level 99! Ahaha. yes. I think sanity permitting is the biggest piece here. I've got an HP Spectre X360, so I've got a pretty nice laptop. We'll see how it goes, it could still crash at any given moment, so I'm not gunna be like "PREPARE FOR LV 99, SCRUBLORD!" ahaha

While one can hope for that it's unlikely as IGA hasn't announced any sort of 'extra castle' So until IGA says something, if there is an alternate castle it's very likely it'll be a DLC. Maybe a free one, but a DLC nonetheless. Really because I feel like it's been heavily hinted. From day one there was the question in the faq about it and they basically said " We wouldn't want to spoil something big like that"... Then in the thread about features the game is considering having and an inverted castle ( or something like it) was one of the things they were/are considering. Just because they aren't talking about it doesn't mean it won't be featured, it's something they'd WANT to be a surprise. Or something they wouldn't want getting spread around if it turned out to be false, and people's hopes were let down.

If there's going to be a Second Castle, I'd actually expect it to be relegated to DLC later on. I fully expected "IGA's Biggest Castle" right from the beginning to be a single Castle with 1,600+ rooms, thus bigger than the Castle in SotN (The Inverted Castle basically being the same rooms, just inverted with some design changes). In agreement with Arcueid Brunestud , I suspect that Bloodstained's 2nd Castle (assuming there will even be one) will be its reflection in the lake. A new ' Reflected' Castle idea, as opposed to an upside-down floating castle. That would be awesome but i'd hope it's not DLC and it's part of the main experience. (Red, white, green, and even the same hue of blue as Miriam's mana bar)-If jumping towards the left ledge in the room before Vepar, (the one that leads outside to where Dullahammer resides) occasionally you'll land on an 'invisible' platform that you can walk on suspended in air, and when jumping on it, makes no sound even as Miriam's feet touch the ground...-The music stopped playing for me around LV 35. This really sucks because before I at least had the music to keep me from going insane whilst doing this, but now all I hear is the storm outside...-Sometimes, on very rare occasion, if you walk into Vepar's area, even if you had left the room and came back, you'll very rarely hear Vepar's cry. (The one when he dies) This really sucked because I had my earbuds in with the volume turned waaay up so I could hear when the AMYS struck Vepar, which then gave me the pleasure of having Vepar damn near eviscerate my eardrums. B-(So yeah. So far so good. Though it's become DREADFULLY boring since at higher levels it takes more LV'ing to make up the damage of one AMY, thus reducing the amount you need to kill Vepar. *Sigh*

I want a Jungle Adventure Miriam where she's wearing one of those jungle explorer outfits and has a machete to help cut her way through the jungle and any enemies she may encounter, Arctic Expedition Zangetsu with a chainsaw katana for when he has to cut through ice, a Johannes Alchemy-mobile with missile-launching action, and a Gebel's Castle playset that's better than the Ninja Turtles Technodrome playset. Also, I want one of those huge backyards from toy commercials where the kids have a whole bunch of plants, structures, and household objects to launch projectiles at. omfg the inner child of goobesausage is for realsies ahaha

For what it's worth, and take this merely as an anecdotal citation, I've only had Bloodstained crash on me once with the dreaded Fatal Error, once and once only. That was back when I first installed and ran the demo for the very first time and this is an acknowledged bug. That said, and contrary to our concern and fears, the likelihood of a crash is probably low enough that a marathon session is not entirely out of question. When I do get around to revisiting this grind, I plan to take screen caps after each level up once I reach the 30s, just in case. I'm gunna try for 40, and then I'll jot down every level stats. No equips, right? Not a problem.

Indeed, despite requiring more EXP, your EXP rate will also keep going up due to killing Vepar quicker and with less restocking on MP. As I mentioned in the OP, I got to 20 in about 40 minutes, which of course includes time setting up for it. I'm interested in the EXP curve, see where it goes. Typically, you end with around 1-5 million EXP at level 99 in past IGA games. Actually, in SotN: you land at 999,999 EXP since they did not program the EXP counter to go beyond 999,999. Sooner or later, I'll go back to this and see how far I can take it, I am interested in making a big push-- if not going all the way up to the theoretical 99. Yeah tonight I plan to restart my computer and try it again. I think all the background items being up might have had something to do with it; I've never had issues with my PC crashing before.

Flavor text would be amazing, especially since most of the beasts are based on the Lesser Key of Solomon. Like with Magic cards, it could be written as a little story, as a monster quote, or as a journal entry (signed by whoever 'wrote' the diary entry for the monster.) Another example worth checking out is the journal in Squeenix's Bravely Second. Too many games with bestiaries simply have gameplay-related data (numbers, resistances, drops) which reduces enemies to nothing but numbers. Please get us emotionally invested to the bestiary. :) A good example to follow might be Pokemon. Have you seen the Pokedex entries for a lot of them? There is some messed up stuff going on behind the scenes. That's to say nothing about the Pokemon who instead of wanting to snatch your soul just merely have body temperatures hotter than the surface of the sun or other nonsense. Prime examples: If you buy these Pokedex entries, a lot of Pokemon are more terrifying than your average Castlevania monster :O Don't forget Shedinja, Drowzee, and Yamask. :p Drowzee: (Ruby, Saphire) If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that one of these Pokémon is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils.
Shedinja: (Ruby) Shedinja's hard body doesn't move - not even a twitch. In fact, its body appears to be merely a hollow shell. It is believed that this Pokémon will steal the spirit of anyone peering into its hollow body from its back.
Yamask: (Black) Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was a human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.

People keep saying that it has to be different than the konami interpretation... I don't think Konami HAS much of an interpretation.. being a skeleton in black robes and a scythe is pretty much the common interpretation to begin with. The only unique spin konami really adds to him IMO is having this ability to make miniature scythes spin around in mid-air randomly. Right, all it has to do is literally not be a copy-paste of one of the graphics in konami's games. But I mean Bloodstained LITERALLY couldn't do that even if they wanted to. None of the graphics from Castlevania's series would match the 2.5D of Bloodstained. Sure the Lord of shadows games use 3D models, but the entire games were in 3D. And I don't even know if Death was in those games or not because I didn't give two f*cks about Lord of Shadows, anyway. Lol

Hell, why don't I try and see how far that I get? Maybe I can get to lv. 99 :p eDiT: Guess maybe not. Got to lv. 27 aaaannndddd....then my game crashed sooo... lol Demoralizing doesn't even begin to describe... Ain't that a roll of sucked ass. Sorry to hear that... And this is why I'm not keen on attempting to grind to 99 in a single sitting. Yeah. I think that would truly be the only issue with level grinding in the demo. I don't actually think it would take as long as some people believe cause I mean after around level 10-12 you can kill Vepar without having to wait for your MP to recharge, and higher levels make it so you can finish Vepar in much shorter work. (AKA Amys cast)

Flavor text would be amazing, especially since most of the beasts are based on the Lesser Key of Solomon. Like with Magic cards, it could be written as a little story, as a monster quote, or as a journal entry (signed by whoever 'wrote' the diary entry for the monster.) Another example worth checking out is the journal in Squeenix's Bravely Second. Too many games with bestiaries simply have gameplay-related data (numbers, resistances, drops) which reduces enemies to nothing but numbers. Please get us emotionally invested to the bestiary. :) You got it, gurlie. :/
