I remember coming home one late summer day in 1998 and seeing my brother and one of my good friends playing SOTN in his room-- I was 13 years old and remember thinking it looked fantastic. I'll never forget the music either, they were at the clock tower and I remember getting a load of "Tragic Prince" I also remember being strangely afraid of the game; my brother asked me to play while he used the bathroom, to go to a save room and I was like super nervous to do anything haha. Now I can blow through the game in less then an hour, but back then it just felt so massive and complex. It still is one of my favorite games!

My Idea is a fire-based Two-handed battle-axe!
Originally, I was going to leave the elements and secondary effects at neutral (for maximum damage)but there's just something I like about a fire-based axe. I picked the 'leveling-up' option for it-- though I was initially going to go with finding the weapon somewhere in the castle.

My two cents: Vepar's "boobs" looked like saggy water balloons to me. I still enjoyed every minute of fighting him. Haha hitting them were fun for some reason. And since he's a water creature, doesn't it make sense for them to act like water balloons? Hahaha, absolutely!

That said, one character in a video game does not represent women or men or humans as a whole, nor does it signify negative social intent of the designer. In my honest opinion, I feel like the majority of people who complain about these things are typically doing so for the attention, and have no real interest in the game itself. I could understand if it detracted from the design in someway, but it's a huge angry demon, it's meant to be horrifying/unsettling--it's what makes killing it so satisfying

I think I played through this demo at least 5+ times now. It feels great; combat and movement is very fluid, and slashing something is satisfying. I also really enjoy the directional attacks! It's so much fun jumping over an enemy and back-handing them in the face with a flame spell.

For a demo, this game looks fantastic. The combat does seem a little slow, but then again I haven't played the demo so I can't really tell.
As for the elemental icons, I'm with Pure Miriam. I literally said the same things when I saw those haha

I didn't even notice. They look pretty normal to me. Keep the model the way it is, no point in giving the design team extra work over a non-issue.

I'm also one of the runic forgers. I want to design a giant-battle axe for Miriam to use. The idea behind it though was a risk-reward type style. Something like, you take more damage, but deal more damage as you kill enemies without getting hit etc.

"Soul of The Berserker". Passive effect; the more enemies you kill without taking damage, the higher your speed and damage increase. 5% spd/5% dmg (stacking). Lasts until you get hit.
I just like things that reward a little bit of skill.

Speaking of bugs, do you think there are some that they might keep on purpose because they could be fun? You mean like 'Back-Dash Cancelling'? Or like Harmony of Despair, 'edge boosting'? If so, I hope! That stuff was fun to do once you learned it! Not to say they were bugs prior, but anything like that is cool in my book

I am not not a PC gamer, but this opportunity has awakened a conflict within me. A conflict between my desire to help this game reach it's full potential, and my desire for a pure and unspoiled experience... And I'm not talking about the storyline spoilers, I'm talking about spoiling the overall game experience. Whenever I fire up a brand new Castlevania game that first time, I'm hotter than a virgin bride ovulating on her wedding night. And I'm afraid the unpolished Beta (and it's design trap, bug, and crash hunting duties) will throw cold water and extinguish my hot fiery anticipation for this game... Are there any experienced Beta Testers out there who care to comment on these matters? FUDGE YES! It's the only way to hold me over until the real thing! Super pumped for this game. I'm gonna do my best as a BETA tester to report bugs, too!

I'd like to see some BIG, MEATY, GREEN ORCS WITH AXES. Possibly chucking them from a ledge, and maybe taking a second or two to charge axe-first at the player should they be on the same plane.

First, I'd be scared to say anything that could upset him Second, I'd have a severe social anxiety attack due to the awesomeness that is Lord IGA (and due to the fact I have social anxiety) Lastly, be super embarrassed about it and hate myself afterwards.
I remember thinking about this question a lot, and for anyone who suffers from Social Anxiety the way I do, it'd just be awkward and probably quiet, and then I'd start regretting it, thinking "Maybe I should've went with the $8,500 reward instead...".
