I wasn't offended by them just felt they needed a little more detail!

I am several hours into the game and I don't think it is nearly as bad the mainstream gaming press is making it out to be. It feels like a semi-accurate modern take on Megaman and despite cheap deaths at times I think it is relatively fun overall. The background could have more detail and the frame rate isn't always stable on my Wii U copy but I don't think the ladder is as big a problem in other versions. I have noticed some minor improvement in that department since yesterdays patch though.

It's a little frustrating in a way. We're very harsh on this game in particular, while many bad games have come out in the past that we have just brushed off. It's just the fact that this one was through kickstarter that placed so many hopes and expectations on it. I feel bad in a way that we're so critical, but I do not feel guilty, it is justified. Still, I don't feel that people like Inafune need to leave the industry. Everyone involved simply needs to learn from the experience, and if they wish to continue their career, to use that experience to better their future games. I think they promised to many platforms and stretched the team to thin. They might have been able to put development time into the game and its versions individually if they had cut the last gen consoles out of the equation. The problem was 2013 was a transitional year and alot of people still had the last gen consoles and not supporting them might have hurt the campaign. Bloodstained kind of got a free pass in that regard because it was kickstarted in 2015 and the amount of people using only last gen consoles had thinned out significantly.

So, I'm hearing reports that the Wii U version is hardlocking/bricking the console. Can anyone confirm? If you can confirm, I hope it's not due to first hand experience. Wii U version is also reported to be having irritating loading times and sketchy frame rate. It was in some rare instances they rushed out a patch which is live now. Be sure you update before playing.

Only ones on that list I watch sometimes is Cinemasscre and AlphaOmegaSin
Some of the ones I watch regularly,
JimSterling, Totalbiscuit, Larry Bundy Jr, ReviewTechUSA, TheLonelyGoomba, HappyConsoleGamer
You might like Larry Bundy Jr and HappyConsoleGamer since they cover alot of retro stuff.

...;_;... /me hugs Goobsausage and Mighty No. 9 Backers in general I kind of saw this coming for a while but didn't want to admit it on the off chance that I was wrong. Seems I wasn't and that is sad indeed... well at least we still have Bloodstained to look forward to.

The survey in question is the preferred platform one, no? I think so I remember doing it.

Nintendo kinda stole the show for me with Zelda and the new Pokemon games. Sony had a good showing and I was interested in Days Gone, Vampyr looked interesting although it was multi-platform. Xbox I didn't see too much that intersted me other than Cuphead.
For me it was a Nintendo win with Sony as a close runner up.

Macnificence:
You all ever had something that made you feel this way? lol. I love this picture I guess mac and cheese is one of those foods that's common to us but not common at all in Japan. Glad he liked it though it was one of the staple foods I grew up on, although I have moved up a level and these days I buy Velveeta instead of Kraft.

For some reason it won't save no matter how many times I try to change it.
It is my personal opinion that silence and mourning is the best way to respect the dead. It makes me feel ill the number of people using this to prop up their own political beliefs in the media.

Just gone through all posts in this thread, god you guys are amazing. I'm always a big fan of creepypastas and all sort of things, kudos to you guys! Unfortunately (or fortunately???) I'm not able to find anything interesting enough to bring here while searching through my memories. Hope I'll remember something another day lol Part of it is luck or unluck depending on how you look at it. I could honestly say half the people around here probably have one story or another although many are reluctant to admit them on the part of people thinking they are crazy. One could also logically argue the few I have had, had reasonable explanations as well. I think alot of people when they do encounter strange things brush them off or convince themselves of a more reasonable explanation because of the scorn associated with this stuff. I have always been curious though and willing to consider alternative explanations.

Creepy. Weird. Bumping old posts is fine. There is no rule against it because it's much better than duplicate threads that are about the same thing. My wife and I both heard a rustling laughter in the dark between both of our heads while our pillows were just inches apart. It was unexplainable and freaked us out. This was just a few months ago. Older houses can be like that, it could be a ghost or just something residual from a previous owner. Usually unless it repeats frequently its nothing to worry about though.

Sorry to bump this but I kinda think this might be worth mentioning.
I live out in the boonies and every day I drive a series of back-roads and then pull on an old highway to make the 8ish mile trip into town. I call the highway old because it's a two lane highway that's older than dirt and since they built a new 4 lane in the mid 90's a lot of people bypass it. It is still traveled litely but mostly by locals or people who are lost. I'm no stranger to this highway as I have been regularly traversing it for years and the night before last I was coming home from work late due to another guy calling in. It was already dark on this completely desolate road on which you probably could have hard a pin drop if not for my noisey old Buick. A couple miles into this lonely trip I see a scraggly looking man in a brown jacket, jeans a beard and little circular glasses. If I am being honest he looks like he just came back from woodstock or a Vietnam protest and he is holding out his thumb. As wary as I am about picking up hitchhikers I am always reminded of the time it saved me once as a teenager and I reluctantly pull over. I roll down the passenger side window. Not fully paying attention I hear a “Hey thanks man.” I look over expecting to see him get in but there is no one there and I am just staring out an open window into darkness.
It took me a couple seconds of processing where he had gone and the utter creepiness of the situation before I flipped it back in drive and floored it out of there.
