Thanks for the well wishes guys. I just tend to take things in stride at this point. Health wise for my GF, it's a matter of good days and bad. Sadly her life surrounds around her injuries and illnesses - part of being disabled. You do what you can for them.
But we get by.

My last few days have been pretty darn horrible.
GF's been in the hospital three times in as many weeks (She's disabled with Fibro, Possibly Ellars Danlos, and a Back Injury.) Once for a twisted ankle (she collapsed) second for tossing up blood (her pain medication was eating at her stomach) and just this last Sunday for swelling in the leg (related to spine and ankle flaring up). She was off her pain medication for a week and a half due to the stomach problems and are only now starting to get back into it.
This is paired with some of the busiest weeks our Service Department has ever seen, and the stresses between my Boss and the Owner as the department expands and tries to deal with the increase in business flow.
Meanwhile, I've been hunkered down trying to get a grip on my finances again, though that may go out the window due to an impromptu visit from my father, right next to my Cousin who wants me to sit her cats. X.x
Some days I just want to shut the world away for a while...

OOC: I'd play! Though if he's TRULY bored, I may be convinced to make a castle for him to dwell and rule over some demons in. Each castle comes with a free stockpile of wine glasses! (for breaking.)

You know what?
My mentality is "Let these old publishers vanish into the sunset, chasing after their dollars." We're headed into a Renaissance of independent game development, where true artistic game creators are taking more independent routes to come up with games that players will enjoy. Concerned more with the idea of creating a work they personally enjoy rather than churning out a product that will bring the most out of an investment.
Yes, it's still going to be a treacherous road, and yes, AAA development does look on its way to crashing - but it's seriously making way for these smaller titles to take root and approach the field of popularity.
So I Say. Let them chase after mobile and handhelds. Sure, they're surging now but the sustainability of that market will crumble as connectivity of devices continues to rise and you can play console level game from your handheld through your computer/cloud/whatever. Players will want affordable titles with complete connectivity over all their devices. Not something a mobile-only market can accommodate.
Meanwhile, easily accessible console titles will continue to push and sustain a gaming market on the consumer end with better focus on game-play thanks to the lower budget limitations. I really thing companies got ahead of themselves when pushing the bleeding edge of technology for entertainment. We're past the Uncanny Valley now, we don't need to go further, and often it's not wanted.

So it is time for finales... Verus lets out a smirk, pulling the whip back and letting the tail coil about his arm a moment before inverting the handle in his hand and kissing the bottom of it.
"If but for a moment, I'll release you. Show them." The Builder of Castles whispers to his Demon whip, before arching his arm forward.
The Whip flared up in heated fire, launching itself form Verus's arm as it grew massive, the hilt of it transforming and warping into a several armed figure before the Igapus, the flames igniting the air about it brieftly. The Lamina lets out a hellish screech before unleashing its myriad weaponry at the Igapus each weapon aiming to strike home at the vulnerable crystal, heated by the magical fire that unleashed it. Verus watched on as the object of temptation and passion stuck at the mocking trepidation in the Igapus one monster to end another.
Verus unleashes Passion Fury! (Final Attack!)

Aside from Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward which is my mainstay MMO. I'm currently being entertained on the side by Secrets of Grindea - an Early Access Steam game that actually seems to have some good polish on it.
You guys should check it out if you've got 15 bucks to spare.

So the beast knew pain...
Verus watched the creature as it retaliated, not against himself, but against many of the others who had been battled longer - getting rid of those who had been the most danger to himself. Were they allies, or simply competition. Such was the nature of this brawl and for the moment, Verus did not wish to spare the time simply to contemplate the value of each. Instead, he would assist his allies in another matter - by targeting the most dangerous aspects of the beast itself.
The tentacles were many and likely multiply throughout the fight. The Swordwhip, however, was most dangerous. The Builder of Castles was not yet sure what the extent of that weapon's power was. It may very well be a danger even to his Demon Tail.
Not taking any chances, and in a way of assisting others, he twisted, his whip about quickly. The Demon tail, coiling in an unnatural manner, curled up like a twisted spring, pulling close to his leather gauntlet hand before, with a drive forward, shooting out straight in a drive towards the tentacle holding the Sword-whip, streaking in a stream of crimson light. He aimed to damage, or perhaps even sever the tentacle completely, to separate the beast from the weapon.
It was a risk, but the reward would be worth it for everyone, most of all for the Builder of Castles who would have one less threat to deal with.
Hyrist Verus uses Drill Whip against the Sword-Whip! (Targeted strike attempt - If permitted, aim to stun or disable Sword Whip for unknown number of turns.)

The battlefield was chaos incarnate... so familiar and welcome to this figure, who joined the fray.
Adorned in shoulder length but snow-white hair, combed back and allowed to wildly adorn itself besides and behind his neck. He was clad in dark leathers, strapped over and held close to his body in a series of knots and belts, save for his vest which was kept partially open, revealing a white tunic beneath and a scarred yet well built body.
The cloud-blue eyes of veteran shown like steel as he gazed upon the chaos, watching the people, marking the positions of each, all the while he stepped in a clear path closer to this target. The amusing in appearance yet still dangerous Bismark Kappa - some grim jest of fate that created the unfortunate creature.
Then perhaps it was a mercy to be before Hyrist Verus, the Builder of Castles. The number of those he had slain was only equal perhaps to those who wound up occupying the many fortresses from which he stored the treasures he stole from them, guiding each demonic and dangerous culture out of the wilds and into a singular place where they could be contained within, or loosed upon the world, depending upon those who would seek out to rule his creations, each more mutated and chaotic than the last.
At his side, a long and could whip of dark leather, from some sort of beast long forgotten perhaps. In the presence of the Bismark Kappa, it seemed to shimmer with incandescence, the black leather of the whip reflecting various lights from the attacks around it.
In silence, Verus loosed his whip from the side, causing the coil to loosen to the ground. At this point he was in the fray, having evaded attacks intended to and away from his target. The whip seemed to be an incredibly long length as he arced the weapon, ironically called the Demon Tail around him and upwards until it curved like a snake-thing alive writhing in the air.
It was from this position that the hunter flicked the whip causing a rippling to occur on it and the red-end of the leather sparked with some unknown magic as it snapped out at Bismark Kappa
Whether or not it would connect was left up to fate, but it looked as if the Builder of Castles and his weapon were more than prepared to for a long battle.
Hyrist Verus attacks with Demon Tail!

Things have quieted down on the server, and I neglected to mention an update on things. So here's a picture of what's gone on with the castle thus far: As you can see on the bottom end, the Marble Gallery's primary room is complete. I'm thinking perhaps a secondary room specifically for smaller paintings, a series of smaller rooms that would make the pictures seem larger an appropriate for the spacing. The "Boss Room" works well for pretty much anything you can host up there until about Moon Lord, then it gets a bit too dangerous per hit unless you're running a heavy tank build. Anyways that's about it for up- wait... what's that on the left-hand side...? ... Oh boy. Stay tuned for the next update!

New castle update. The Railway tunnel is complete, save for me figuring out how to get stairs to run through the rails safely. Been gathering the raw brick and catacomb portraits for a while now to get enough supplies for that. That's left me with a few really beat up Dungeons on single player worlds. The new section in the sub-floors: 'The Marble Gallery' I'm calling it. Is starting to come along. I plan on using it to choice paintings at the main attraction, with a little extra something for the observant. While I brainstorm on that I'll be wrapping up the Pillars section and the Barracks. Small Gripe: I've logged in for the second time with a Celestial Tower next to the Castle spawned and not defeated. This time all 4 towers were up. I cleared 3 of them in the time I had. If you guys start the Lunar event, I can request that you at least kill the tower next to the castle before logging out? It really kills construction time to have to go out and clear the area before I can even begin. Still contemplating if I'm done with the re-design of the Dungeon Entrance. Any feedback in that area design wise, let me know. Also, let me know what you guys think of the 'Tunnel way' I made for the sky rail. If you guys like I can design one for the entire railway, but it will take a lot of time just for the materials (need dungeon brick walls and stacked walls in HUGE numbers, going with blue.) There's also the chance that it may obscure seeing the Moon Lord Boss if people are using the railway to fight him. (I could install windows for that.) Anyways let me know. See you guys in the next update!

I restored the wooden planks on the Right side end of the Skybridge. Keep in mind that the planks are there so that hooks or flying mounts are not needed to use the railway system. Even if we are entering into the post-game building phase I would like to keep the server newbie friendly.
I've also started construction to restore/revise the Dungeon Entrance. We ran into a problem with the Cultists falling into the dungeon and not properly resetting the Lunar event, so instead of restoring it to spec I'm taking a more "Temple" approach to the area. Turning it into a battle arena for the Lunatic Cultist. I'll get screens up later on it.
We're headed towards the second half of the week, which makes my availability to work on things a lot less. I'll pop onto my single player games to be sure I farm up enough stones and mats for the Railway center trial in the meantime.

I do want to raise mine so I can have an additional Digital Copy. However I'm not sure on how the Beta access works and whatnot to see if that's necessary to access it. I'm going to be getting the PS4 physical copy for sure.
Ironically it seems that I've been using my PS4 for Neo-Classical titles more than AAA

The limit on the reach of the Wires is 2000 placements before there needs to be a Relay between. (meaning one transporter ends and another begins) So there is not so much a problem of reach as that the transporter lands somewhere interesting each time. If you want me to make a location there just set me aside some space for something along the same style as what I've done already.
Also, keep in mind, the Crimson has pretty much taken over the Snow biome so we may want to try to clean up that area before going in. We're in the building stage so feel free to clean up any of the corruption/crimson biomes, as we'll likely make a manual area for them anyways.
