Ben also had the advantage of being Phoenix Wright and having worked for Capcom in both NA and Japan. I don't know how you can have a high ego when you are compared to someone who's buddies with people like Inafune, Igarashi, and Amano. Who knows who else Ben knows like that, he's one heck of a guy. Ben Judd is buddies...with all three of those awesome individuals? I now like this guy even more than I did already, and I knew he was the voice of Phoenix Wright beforehand.  He worked under Inafune. Ben also produced Bionic Commando 2009 and Bionic Commando Rearmed, the first of which had mixed reception and the latter apparently was much better received but was a portable title. We know his involvement with Igarashi. When the Amano posters became a thing Ben said something like "you guys were asking if I really knew Amano, I hope this answers that question" or something like that. Amano apparently was totally cool with signing more and more copies, and I think Ben was feeling bad about asking more and more out of everyone at that point lol. |

Good play to the S3 campaign. While I don't want B:RN to get passed up, they made the step in the right direction to pass us. Who knows, maybe Sega will agree to the HD 1-2 release in the last week that would guarantee our decimation as the top KS video game. Like I said, never underestimate the power of a fan base!

Ok, I know what I told earlier but here's a crazy thought; In the events that Shenmue don't get ported to wii U and xbone (It will never happen, I know) and Shenmue 1&2 don't get relaunched, what would be the odds that their final 48h was actually more powerful than what we thought before (because of last minute 48h* backers + ps4 physical) but still have been burned out by this mid-campaign announcement? I mean the average pledge has reached bloodstained level (and I expect it to still go higher since they fix reward tier even it's still average at my taste but that's just my opinion) It's such a big announcement that people upped their pledge and even made additional accounts for getting both physical copies but that means they won't do that in last hours (assuming they are still being reasonable in their backing of a 2017 upcoming game) |
