I actually suggested an 8-way double jump to IGA back on June 22. He didn't really respond to that suggestion, saying instead that development had begun by then and that nothing was set in stone. But we can be sure that the idea is at least floating in the back of his head.

Also to keep with the alchemy theme, Ouroboros would be a really good concept for a boss. Ouroboros is the oldest known alchemical symbol, specifically the symbol of fire.

A sphinx would be a great option for a high-level enemy or even a boss, as one of the creatures that tempted the alchemists. As powerful riddlemasters there would be a lot of possibilities for how a sphinx would fight, such as dropping hex bolts while flying.

I'm not sure how Crashes would work alongside what appears to be the Soul system. Super attacks for each Soul would be very tedious for IGA's team to program but would extend the possibilities for combat by miles.

I didn't think the Soul system from Chronicles of Sorrow would ever return, but it looks like IGA has a soft spot for it. Good thing, since it's my favourite magic/subweapon system in the series.

Belial has no official visual, but some games shows it as a classic, winged muscular Demon, with is simple and badass. Bael has a disturbing appearance, being a cross of a spider, with human, cat and frog heads. Berith has the alchemy link, but doesn't have any official visual too, with can force the designers to be creative with it. Astaroth was already revealed, as being a kind of higher class monster. Berith is traditionally depicted with a tall, spiked crown riding upon a red horse. They could work with that and possibly add in a stained-glass motif to help add to the theme. I do also like the Astaroth design we've been shown.

I'd enjoy seeing a halberd or similar fancy polearm used. Slow but powerful with a wonderful range.

Because of the weapon crafting/alchemy system, I'd like to see a reference to the timeline of the Whip of Alchemy being upgraded and transformed into the Vampire Killer.

I hope there is at least an option to turn off levelups. I would prefer a system that just levels up your HP and MP and ignores your other stats, but as long as I get some options I'll be all good.

Berith and Astaroth would both be welcome. Berith is linked to alchemy as the origin of the element that can trasmute gold, and Astaroth was a daemon of knowledge and discovery.

If there is enough space left over in the plot for more in the next game, then a sequel will be warranted. IGA will be experimenting a lot with powers and new enemy design with Ritual of the Night, and having such a huge castle means he'll need to try new things and see what works.

I feel like the two plot points of the alchemists and the stained-glass curse will be explored pretty thoroughly. There's also the question of how the curse was originated, which could be made ambiguous in Ritual of the Night to leave room for a sequel. I like to imagine a trilogy for this series.

We already have David Hayter as Gebel, so there's that. Miriam is a tricky one, I think perhaps Laura Bailey as many have mentioned above. I imagine a voice with somewhat of a tired edge to it, but also some concern.
