I also remembered they saying that, due to some complaints about Miriam's speed, they were going to implement something to make her run faster if people wanted to use. Now, i'm thinking what this is: A Shard? A skill? (like, =>=> (foward,foward) for a dash). Something else we don't know yet? That is going to be a progression ability (to go further into the game, required to proceed)? So many questions at such a tiny frame! I tend to prefer tapping the direction twice to start a dash/run. This is intuitive enough and does not require a dedicated button. It would be interesting if they tied it to a shard that you would collect at some point in the game to get this ability. They could have an areas where the floor drops out and you can't get past without running through, or a longer jump that requires you to run and jump to get across. In this manner it's something that can be used in the game for more than just satisfying individuals who don't think Miriam is fast enough at her initial pace. It's also something that could be potentially upgraded with the possibility of charging through enemies/obstacles rather than being hit by them. The double tap to dash was used in Mirror of Fate, Circle of the Moon, and Richter mode in Symphony of the Night. And I found it annoying in all three. My guess is that Iga doesn't like it either since it never was used again after SoTN.

ManaCould we please know when it's too late for our suggestions to make it into the game? Daydreaming about specific things we want to see in the game is fun and all but shouting into the void can be a bit disheartening.

I would love an Enchant Shard that auto equips familiar, trigger, effective or directional shards when enemies drop them for self imposed difficulty.

I'm also deeply interested on seeing what the Demo will show us, specially that it seems we will finally be able to see the castle itself, from a gameplay perspective. By the way, Harmony of Dissonance is better than all the Lord of Shadow trilogy IMO. I actually thought Mirror of Fate was ok. Simply changing to a 2D perspective did wonders for me.

Good eyes! It's almost embarrassing haha. Now that we're looking at this, we've improved so much from this demo. We can't wait to show the new stuff for E3. You've improved enough for the old demo to almost seem embarrassing?! I absolutely cannot wait to see the new stuff.

So are we just waiting on E3 for updates now? Whats going on? Well there's only speculation but my take is ( which could easily be completely wrong so if FangamerSteve wants to come in here and be like..DON'T LISTEN TO THIS MAN HE IS A HEATHEN...that'd be fine ) Anyways - FangamerSteve said that they had the assets like a couple weeks ago but there was A LOT of translation work to do. At that time Lindsay and Dan Moore were in Japan. Lindsay works on the translation work for them at Fangamer if I'm correct. She's still in Japan I believe. So it could be as simple as that or maybe they decided to wait a bit closer to E3 so the tease is fresh before the main course? Who knows... I had no idea. Thanks alot.

The reason I say Alucard is because the guy opening the door looks like he has a normal cape and long hair whereas Trevor's looks shorter and his (Cape type thing ) is bulky. Who knows... Huh, you know what, you might be right. Upon further examination, that doesn't look like Trevor's hair and that doesn't look like Trevor's cape. And if you are right, I'm happy about it too. I wasn't much of a fan of Alucard's pretty boy voice from the PSP version either. I honestly prefer the PSP voice. It sounds elegant like his appearance.

Creative characters and enemy designs are a rarity in these kind of games. I've seen hundreds of 2D Castlevania/Souls clones for years now. It seems we hear about a new one every few weeks. But this is the first one I'm actually considering backing since Bloodstained back in 2015. Even if the game is crap, more enemy art would make it worth it to me.
