My own two cents: Both should be released at the same time. I'm a physical + digital backer but I can't imagine physical-only backers wanting to wait months for their copies while digital backers are already playing. Either release both when the core game is ready and release the bonus stuff as codes via email, or hold both until EVERYTHING is ready and release then. If they choose to do the former, they could release a "Complete Edition" later down the line for the people who want everything on disc. Either way, both should be released at the same time. Completely agree 100%

Digital and physical needs to be released at the same time. Then all the additional or DLC content can be released on a secondary physical disc marked expansion or whatever they want to name it.

I like having the dash option available and yet the players aren't necessarily forced to use it. If a player thinks it's "broken" or shouldn't be in the game then simply don't chain execute it.

Heya folks, Just registered myself. It has been a very, very busy month. A key member left our company and I've been doing the work of 2 people. Honestly, I forgot about that! It was my first big Kickstarter and the closing stream was surreal. I remember planning to pledge after it was all over but life (and this job) moves so quickly that I just ended up getting pulled into the next project and not fulfilling what I said I was going to do. There was certainly no ill-will as I was very proud of being a part of that campaign and am a big Megaman fan but I can see how it would rub some people the wrong way. I can say this... I have helped Comcept in a great many ways so I feel I've shown my support through my time, advice, etc. Inafune-san was actually my old boss and when I first became an agent, I told him I'd assist for free in any way that I could including spending hours on translations, pitches etc before they became a client. That still doesn't change the fact that I said I would do something and didn't so I guess I'll have to try harder and I certainly supported Bloodstained well above my means. And of course I'll be buying the game when it is out. There are indeed things I can say about my clients and things I cannot say. That is by law, not by choice. I gave IGA and this campaign everything I had. Was averaging 3 - 4 hours of sleep and went above and beyond what an agent normally does. You see, I was a latchkey kid. Parents divorced at 6, lived in an area with very few kids my age, moved schools, and in general was very lonely growing up. I'm sure there are other posters here with similar backgrounds here. It got very bad and at once point the loneliness was almost unbearable. It was then that the NES came out and life changed. Games get a bad rap for violence, ruining grades, being nerdy etc. But it's my firm belief that they may just have saved my life and I always repay my debts. Those Japanese creators that made some of the best early games I played really helped me enjoy my youth more and that's the sole reason I work hard as an agent in Japan. Someone needs to help these super talented, super cool creators get new opportunities. Especially since now they are not being supported by Japanese publishers. For me it's not about money it's about paying it back. I did it with Inafune-san, I'm doing it with IGA, and you'll see a couple more from me in the future. One more thing to add and that is, I find the idea of a Kickstarter community to be really great. We all shared some great experiences playing IGA games in the past and now we can share those memories, ideas, and feelings with like-minded people. That was one of the draws for me when posting in the comments section on the Kickstarter. Because I'm just like you and am just really excited for this game! That's Ben Judd in a nutshell. Hopefully you'll keep me. Ben The Kickstarter was 1 year ago (man how time flies) and the moment I saw IGA's pitch video I instantly knew I was backing the project. His pitch video could've been 2 seconds with just him saying "Of the Night" and I'd still instantly back it. The whole 30 or 31 days of the Bloodstained KS was so awesome. I've never been that involved with a KS before ever constantly refreshing the page and watching the pledged amounts constantly rise. The anticipation of seeing new stretch goals was so incredibly amazing. I'm really grateful and amazed that IGA and Bloodstained received so much support. After being there through the entire KS through all the streams/interviews I've come to believe that this Ben Judd guy is really cool and I appreciate all the work he's doing. Here's an interview that I've listened to 4 or 5 times already just because it's so informative. As far as his next project goes; I wish he had a dedicated twitter account so I could read about it right when it happens. I don't Facebook At the end of the day I think this Ben Judd guy (Sexy Agent) is really cool I can certainly relate to things and events experienced in childhood. Thanks for everything you do and thanks for helping make Bloodstained a reality. Respect!

I really like the idea of view-able online profiles. I feel like it allows a player to take pride of their character and they can share links to it through various social outlets like twitter or Facebook. When you're in a situation where you can't play the game, but can access the profile on your phone, it allows for planning of what you wish to accomplish the very next time you can sit down and play the game. It also has the potential to translate over to online forum banners that can be displayed as a signature. Here's an example of an online profile for a game called Diablo 3 Something like this opens the door to creativity because I'd be curious exactly how IGA and team could execute it It could even be unlocked in-game by finishing the game or doing/accomplishing something special.

This may be wishful thinking but would it be possible if we can use this as a way to create a special/extra episode of the Bloodstained Community Broadcast where we, the community, share out thoughts and opinions in not just a written way but also in a vocal way to the devs. In addition to that; Emails containing feedback could also be sent in and it could be called Community Feedback on the show. XombieMike could dedicate a portion of the show to reading/discussing the best emails that are sent in. The thing is though, if this really blows up then Mike might need 2 or 3 staff/people as more time would need to be dedicated to production/execution of the show.

Yea you did great Mana, if I was in your place i'd probably freeze up. Don't worry, Army of the Night has your back! Yeah, Mana did an outstanding job. I can only imagine sitting next to IGA himself even in an empty room talking about his game is enough to make most people nervous and emotional. I'd probably be tearing up as I talked if it were me. Then you throw cameras and broadcasting live on top of that *falls out of his chair*

I also got the impression she was nervous as well. It's completely understandable though considering all the circumstances surrounding everything. Cheers to IGA and Mana for an awesome E3 showing. Really enjoyed watching that and thanks Croc for sharing it

Stream just ended. It was fun seeing Ben, IGA, and Romscout play and talk about the game, but I was disappointed by how the stream switched to only showing them on the couch for the last few minutes while Romscout was still playing the demo. Still, it was neat to get confirmation on story details. I wasn't sure if Bloodstained took place in England or a fictional country, but now we know it's England. I don't remember hearing about how Miriam and her crystals act as a beacon for attracting demons. They actually explained quite a bit about the story and characters over a year ago before the kickstarter took place.

I always get excited when I check my YT subscriptions and see another Community Broadcast episode. I didn't expect a new one so soon. Tom was an awesome guest and I enjoyed the episode very much!
