Below is a short video interview, skip to about 52 minutes in, where IGA and Mana (hello and thanks for all your hard work as always!) talk about the history of the project, what they are doing, etc. Gameplay footage plays over most of the interview but its nothing you haven't already seen by this point. The Bloodstained Forums (us) also get a shout-out!

Well we get to see Mana with IGA for the first time! That's awesome. I love how the first thing she wanted to talk about was the forums. I hope it lets people know there is a place to share the fandom as a community. Mana was a bit nervous, but she handled the first on camera interview well. I know she can be super shy! Seeing IGA and Mana together for the first time will always be a memory that will bring a smile to my face.
Now that we all know what she looks like, perhaps she will come out of her shell a little. There is one picture I know about that is really cool I hope she shares with everyone, but privacy is to be respected.
Great job, IGA and Mana! What a team.
crocodile, thanks for sharing this video, man. It was the perfect way to end my day. (Also, good job getting the timing to link properly.)
That lady interviewing... all I can say is "WHAT ARE THOOOOOOSE?!" for the feet slot equipment. When the Recore guy starts asking "Who's a good dog?" I can't help but think of today's Nightvale episode.
OK, I'm going to bed.

That was a neat opportunity for Iga and Mana to promote Bloodstained to the more general gaming crowd. As for the gameplay footage, I don't remember seeing the yellow shard anywhere else before, so that was pretty neat.
This is the first time I've seen Mana translating for Iga instead of Ben, and I thought she remained classy and professional throughout the interview. Good job, Mana! The forum shout out was a nice gesture! I also thought her hair looked kinda like Miriam's.
EDIT: ...aaaand Mike beat me to posting some of the same things I mentioned as I left the browser open as I took care of some stuff.
I also got the impression she was nervous as well. It's completely understandable though considering all the circumstances surrounding everything. Cheers to IGA and Mana for an awesome E3 showing. Really enjoyed watching that and thanks Croc for sharing it

It was so nice to see Mana! I'm camera shy myself so I totally understand wanting to stay hidden. Great job Mana, you handled the camera better than I ever could. Hopefully with this interview more people know about the game and I can hopefully explain what the game is and explain it (and my page) a lot easier. I always have to remind my friends that this game even exists.

Mana's world debut! That was really cool, and she did mention us right off the !
I watched that on the Re-core game, too...they keep saying Metroid and Mega Man, old school game etc etc, but ah...not seeing any of that lol. Except how the dog digs up an item, that was neat and Rush-like.
Thank you guys! I'm a little embarrassed hehe. So sorry if I sounded really off in the middle. It was my first time ever being on camera. Ben was suppose to cover this but because he's a super (sexy) agent and needed to be everywhere, I took his place. I'm really grateful to the Xbox Daily crew for being really kind and helpful during the whole show.
Iida-san was playing the demo during the show. We didn't have a rehearsal so it was funny how he got the shard just when we were explaining what it was.
Yea you did great Mana, if I was in your place i'd probably freeze up. Don't worry, Army of the Night has your back!
Yeah, Mana did an outstanding job.
I can only imagine sitting next to IGA himself even in an empty room talking about his game is enough to make most people nervous and emotional. I'd probably be tearing up as I talked if it were me. Then you throw cameras and broadcasting live on top of that *falls out of his chair*
The interview was well done and Manga and IGA should be proud their representing both their Game and kickstarter as a whole Actually I found it a little odd there was no big Kickstarter game shown off this year at E3 when last year we got 3 of them I also saw a video of the end of the ship and the boss battle and all I gotta say is...wow
its cool to be nervous and you did really well, id probably be losing my shit if i had to pay attention to 2 people and remember enough of it to translate with all that noise and movement going on around me, id be like a squirrel surrounded by cats in the planters factory ^_^
Satoru Iwata: "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer.” Game on Iwata-san
Thank you crocodile for sharing the informations, videos and fanarts ! We're always getting good things with you !
First, congratulations for your first time on camera Mana ! It's okay to be nervous, you did great ! You make a great duo and you both look good. I like your snake bite ! Somehow, both of your Japanese accent makes me want to learn more about the language. Anyway, thanks for the time provided !
It was a nice interview and I think it's a really really good thing to know Mana translating our feedbacks. It actually feels we can have an impact on the game devlopment ! Also, it's amazing to see that even Xbox interview talks about the forum ! I guess Mike had a great idea at first and made a great job so far. Good job everyone ! ha ! ha !
Concerning the game, I hadn't notice yet the goat legged lion monster is here. There is the yellow shard too. It seems it ups stats (here, CON (Constitution, aka defense) is upped). I like the animation and the fact Miriam put the shard in her (heart or middle of the torso ?). Well, only good things here !
I saw some people commenting that the combat motions are quite slow yet. Only few combat moves and a bit rigid though the moves are smooth. I'm not surprised because it's a devlopment demo but I think negative (not saying it's a bad thing) comments are important as well.
Yän: All the other ones are variations of a candy-wonderland and scifi spaceships!

castledan: but you get my point right? When we're told biggest castle, it's kinda important that the castle itself is the biggest. That's what we are comparing
Jun 24, 2017 11:15:25 GMT -6
Yän: Idk about you lot but that just screams gothic horror to me!
Jun 24, 2017 11:15:29 GMT -6
castledan: once you get to the castle and it's smaller it's a let down because the fun of it is the exploration of the castle you get to. So hub like environments then you get to a smaller castle defeats that
Jun 24, 2017 11:15:54 GMT -6
Yän: Yeah, I guess if it's all on one map that's fine to me
Jun 24, 2017 11:15:57 GMT -6
Yän: As in Lament of Innocence
Jun 24, 2017 11:16:19 GMT -6
Yän: That was the main reason why it took me so long to finally play that game
Jun 24, 2017 11:16:38 GMT -6
castledan: yeah that's an example of what i don't want. A HATE hubs in castlevania. It kills any cohesive exploration
Jun 24, 2017 11:17:34 GMT -6
castledan: im done with an area...teleport back...into the next area.
Jun 24, 2017 11:17:41 GMT -6
Yän: Right, that's not what I want either
Jun 24, 2017 11:18:21 GMT -6
castledan: well we will find out eventually lol
Jun 24, 2017 11:19:59 GMT -6
Yän: That's right. Not much of a point discussing it now ^^
Jun 24, 2017 11:21:14 GMT -6
Enkeria Gin: I request we get 3000 rooms. 1400 of them could be about the extra % glitch "outside".
Jun 24, 2017 11:24:46 GMT -6
Enkeria Gin: Or.. Over 9000 !!!
Jun 24, 2017 11:25:13 GMT -6
Yän: I demand we get a map the size of No Man's Sky's universe all done in 2D Pixel art with 100% original rooms! And better make it quick!
Jun 24, 2017 11:28:27 GMT -6
Yän: I paid a few dollars on this after all so I get to decide!
