duomaxwell007 unless I have misunderstood Angel-Corlux the "demo" this month is the beta mentioned in the Kickstarter. Angel-Corlux, I think "demo" is confusing people. I know "game slice" is another term being used, but it's important to backers to understand that this demo is the beta process.

Multiplayer question lead to a pretty standard answer, but I found it interesting anyway.

No need for spoiler tags as nothing can be seen or read without direct interaction of playing the video. The thread title is descriptive as well as the video title. Screen tearing was certainly an issue, but it's far from the only complaint I have.
I will refrain from voicing my opinions for now.

Well, there will be some E3 streams today. IGA will be answering many questions and the most common question is indeed release date. I seriously doubt we will get a release date today, and not having a release date announced at E3 is a pretty obvious sign it won't be releasing this year. However, if it does get delayed to next year I don't think it will be past the first quarter.
Honestly I hope it is indeed next year. I want to play the demo, and give my feedback with a chance that changes will be made. If they are releasing this year, what we get in the demo will most certainly be what we get on release. There's no time to gather a lot of feedback and make adjustments if they are going to be pushing release to this many platforms.
So, not only do I expect a delay I hope for one. However, I believe I'm more patient and have more personally invested in this game than a lot of other people. I only say that because I know a huge chunk of backers are at the digital only lowest cost tier. It's not that those backers aren't as emotionally invested in playing, I just think they probably don't spend time every single day of their lives thinking and talking about Bloodstained like I do. I'd rather the team have time for adjustments I'd like to see than to play the game this year, but I totally understand the perspective of a huge chunk of fans who are already past their patience limit that just wanted to play already and be on to their next game.
E3 over hypes game announcements and that hype can screw up expectations for game that are barely in a state to talk about to the public. Kickstarter is even worse, as Bloodstained was a loose idea with few stretch goals when the campaign just started. We've switched developers, publishers, probably localization, a platform, and we have to port to Vita that sounded like a miricle in the first place to even make happen. We added many stretch goals and have heard that a staggered release is not what the team is among for. We haven't heard anything lately about release other than "we have no release date announced at this time". All signs point to next year. This is assuming that during the Q&A today the question isn't answered though. Stay tuned!

What a nice thread, @ghost . I discovered IGA's games when I was 27. When I did I became quite infatuated with his stuff. I went on a quest to play all of his 2D games. I would have played his 3D games too, but I couldn't get them on the systems I had at the time. The plot of Lament though, it changed my life. My best friend at the time who had got me to play SotN really liked Lament, and I studied up on the story without playing the game. I ran one of my very first pen and paper RPG games based on that story and what happened between it and CV1. Today for a new group I run something similar. So IGA has been a significant influence in my life since 2006.
I went through some major life changes in 2008 and missed out on Order of Ecclessia when it first came out. I feel the smallest bit of guilt for not buying it as it's low sales contributed to IGA's split from Konami. I eventually borrowed it from a friend once life had found a new normal. That completed my run of playing all of IGA's 2D games (and 2.5D). Oh, Castlevania Chronicles exists, but I don't have access to that. I think that is all I'm missing. I'd still love to play Lament and Curse of Darkness eventually.
In 2014 I had discovered a new love of video game music. I had always liked game music, and had downloaded a few sound tracks in the past, but it wasn't until four years ago I just somehow realized I could really dive into the whole world of game music. This coincided with my discovery of podcasts, and I had discovered the recently concluded Pixeltunes Radio. One of the hosts loves Castlevania and it's music as much as I do. For this reason I began a huge deep dive on the music of Castlevania. I listened to EVERYTHING I could find related to the music. In 2015 on the Pixeltunes Radio group I saw a link to a "Devs play Castlevania, Symphony of the Night" DoubleFine video where IGA played SotN and provided commentary. It's awesome, so look it up if you haven't seen it. Before then I had never seen any video of IGA and he was playing and talking, laughing and drinking red wine. I had never felt like so much of a fan of a creator more than that moment. Then like... the next day I think it was that the Bloodstained KS was announced.
So I followed the comments, stretch goals, updates, made new social media accounts for backer achievements, and promoted the best I could. I joined the army. I somehow convinced my wife that spending $250 on a game was something to be happy about (and later upgraded even more, haha!). Yeah, I was in. The energy of the community made me feel the magic. Pulling together to make something we have loved into it's next iteration. I made these forums, and people came. Ben Judd saw it worked to keep the community together so it became official very quickly.
In spite of all common sense due to time, distance and money, when SXSW happened this year on IGA's 50th birthday I just had to go see him. Especially because some of you were there. Due to my involvement with the community team, I got to eat dinner with him. It's one of the greatest events of my life and I'll always cherish it. I'll always be an IGA fan. Nothing will stop me from loving what he's already done and enjoying whatever he does next as much as possible. Sure, something might not be perfect, but I don't care. It's more than just a series of games to me now.
IGA's games, the fans that love his games, the communities that share the passion with each other, the artists, musicians, game makers and story tellers that are inspired by his productions... it's all more than just games. It all falls under three letters: IGA. It's bigger than him and will live on long past him, but it's because of him.

The goal of the questions were to get answers about the late backer codes and "Region 3" not getting a PS4 or Vita release. Although I don't have IntiCreates' responses on these issues, I would like to share what IGA had to say in these regards.
Regarding late backer codes:
Regarding Asia backers, excluding Japan, not getting a PS4 or Vita release for their region:
There are other questions I have asked, and if any further conversations clarify these matters, I will keep you updated. With the pending expiration of the temp Steam codes and the release of Curse on Xbox coming to it's various regions I don't think the backer code issue is ready to be in the past. Please understand ArtPlay and IntiCreates are doing what they can.
For "Region 3" backers, when you have a code from Fangamer, email them at orders@fangamer.com and explain that your code doesn't work for your region. They will give you the options previously discussed. Even though those options aren't perfect, it's really the best that can be done.

Please let there be good news for Region 3. I would rather much have the game instead of other form of compensation. Although, if however Inti Creates still refuses to budge on the matter... I guess I will be forced to choose the latter. I hate to say it, but I think it's either time for you to set up a PayPal or invest in another memory card. I'm very sorry these are the best options for you to play CotM. It's a really good game well with its 10$ store price. Is it worth all the issues it takes to get it as a backer in your region though? I hope you find it is. I'm very sorry this affects you and everyone in your region. Take IGA up on the refund. I hope you use the money to buy a memory card.

In regards to the questions I sent to be passed to IntiCreates, I have got replies from IGA, but IntiCreates hasn't responded yet.
IGA's replies shows he is 100% ready and willing to accept all blame. That was not what I wanted from this effort to get IntiCreates to answer some questions.
I will give more details when I can.

Fangamer was given a time frame and met it. I confirmed this with Steve. They did exactly what they were told to do.
This is a publishing issue, and it's on IntiCreates.

Was just looking at their tweets and found this gem where Inti Creates claim no responsibility over the delayed codes. They claim they couldn't order codes until they got the survey numbers. Found under the post where they're gloating about Nintendo downloads. You can link the actual tweet if you want us to jump in on that "conversation". They embed nicely on the forum. Yeah, that is a hunk of shit response. Way to take responsibility for this screw up. Ask for the survey numbers in a timely manner and announce a release date after you have them all. It's a game you wouldn't have if it weren't for backers.

My friends... I have bad news. Our friend Fryda Wolff who voices Dominique has breast cancer. The only silver lining is that she caught it early due to paying attention to family history and getting regular check ups. Both her boobies are going away I highly encourage you to go to her YouTube video on this and leave her a nice comment wishing her luck with her procedure.

Yeah... let's not nit pick though. No can of worms really. We paid for Curse, but not in a way that makes sense to refund a specific amount of money especially considering IntiCreates gets the profits and ArtPlay pays the refunds. Let's not lose sight of the forest due to focusing on the trees. We are all in agreement here, I think where things really matter.
