I just finished The Stanley Parable which I bought on Humble Jumbo Bundle 4 earlier today. Haven't 100% yet but I got to say this game is just blowing my mind...
I've got these feelings mixed up in about 10 minutes: creepy, hilarious, sadness, solitude, astonished... Definitely worth for a try.
Oh and I LOVE that narrative, just LOVE it.

I'm not feeling well these two days... I'd like to sleep for a whole day but I can't... Well, maybe this weekend something would cheer me up.

I never listened to much Japanese music but for a while i really enjoyed this band. Oh Janne Da Arc. The first Visual-kei band I've ever met, the first song I heard from them is the theme of Japanese version Megaman X8 named Wild Fang. Then I came across Black Jack, the first OP is from them named 月光花 (Moonlight Flower).

As I said in my J-Music post, I devoted into J-rocks.
Other than that I'm pretty omnivorous, R&B, Disco funk, House, Speedcore, Folklore and...
Pop. Love Maroon 5 and Jason Mraz.

Ah I saw MyonMyon's track Speaking of touhou metal arrange, Have you ever heard Thousand Leaves? They're absolute awesome, and no vocals. As a matter of fact I have not, I'll try to remember checking them out next time I'm in the mood for music hunting. Sorry for slow reply, I read this on the phone and couldn't reply, then forgot about the thread. I thought you mentioned crowsclaw too though, why'd you edit it out? I HAVE heard of them, IIRC they weren't bad but I don't recall really getting into any of their stuff, maybe a song or two, I really don't remember. I actually haven't listened to much music as of late... There WAS one band that didn't have a lot of songs I really liked that had a mix for "Be of Good cheer!" which was more prog than metal IIRC but man I loved that track...can't remember who it was. I wonder if it was crows claw =P. Do you know the magnum opus touhou band? I love their stuff. I'm kinda bummed how myonmyon went vocal though ever since yellow cake or whatever that album was.. blech.. it's the bad kind of vocals too, the kind that's in the front of everything and is impossible to ignore. The reason I edited CROW'SCLAW out is they went totally vocal in recent albums... But I kinda remember they still produce original instrumental metal albums. Oh, and Unlucky Morpheus and UI-70, they're good too but not memorable... まぐなむお~ぱす, okay I'll check that out:)

I recently knew a girl who is a little elder than me, also she's a master at traditional music instruments... and we talked much... I mean, I'm feeling she's great, so far... You know, it's pretty... awesome.
OMG, I don't know what to say... It's just, good to know somebody would find you in the crowd and saying "hey you're cute"...
I've been a nerdy guy for such a long time, now I'm feeling kinda saved. No matter we finally become lovers or not.
Maybe this is a good sign for the beginning of REAL LIFE, just for me...

A regular day. Do linear algebra stuff, and try to figure out what's going on between those MATLAB codes. And I spent most of my spare time to find a decent controller for me. I'm locking on Logitech Rumblepad 2 for now, and found some second-handed sellers are selling it around 15$. Trying to contact them for more info, if there's no other problem I'm gonna take it. Also, any recommendation is appreciated! I need controllers that have great D-pad since I like to play retro action/platformers and fighting games. Analog sticks I don't care that much but sometimes I also play STG so it's better than nothing I think? Ah... MATLAB.... those were the days.... Still remember using it to create a Midi synthesizer for my DSP class in college. And also using it to test a visual tracking algorithm for my senior project. In fact I think I still have copies of that code.... somewhere... As far as gamepads go, are you looking for one for a console or a PC? If it's for a PC, while it's old the Hammerhead FX controllers were pretty good and they're (semi-)compatable with Steam. I actually have two of them. One is the original 3dfx Hammerhead which I can't use as it needs a actual 15-pin joystick port and the other is the "re-released" version made by interact that has a USB connector. There are still controllers available here: www.amazon.com/HAMMERHEAD-DUAL-ANALOG-GAMEPAD-INERACT/dp/B00006I5CY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1437053071&sr=8-1&keywords=hammerhead+controllerfor fairly cheap. I'm not sure if the ones they are selling are the joystick port version or the USB version. Also, they depict the joystick version with a USB adapter. But I'm not sure if it comes with that or not. I'm trying to analyze a camera calibration code to get a grip of the whole algorithm, that's the work for me this month Thanks for the recommendation Jim! Yes I need it for PC, but I can't find this one anywhere in my country (International Shipping is something that I can't afford too)... and I've already taken Rumblepad 2 early this day

I'm a metalhead, and I like instruments, and vocals are something I generally dislike. I don't mean metal vocals, but pretty much ALL vocals. The human voice just doesn't do it for me, and when singing, and they have that annoying as @#%%@# vibrato.. UGH I HATE THAT. Fortunately with black or death metal, famous for silly ass vocals that sound like growling or grunting and...well black metal often screeches..but even then... in those genres of music, the vocalist is often muted or not really in the forefront of the music, it doesn't really stand out (aside from how unusual it is from typical music.. but in terms of gain/volume, it doesn't stand out). So I could appreciate the music in those genres, AND not be annoyed by the vocals at the same time... Then I discovered Japanese indie music...where there is lots of metal with absolutely no vocals at all... EEEK. Ah I saw MyonMyon's track Speaking of touhou metal arrange, Have you ever heard Thousand Leaves? They're absolute awesome, and no vocals.

I'm an Android developer. I have developed games with pure OpenGL(the most painful experience in my life as a programmer) and later with Unity engine. There WILL be problems along the way. They're gonna face with development. porting, budget & deadline difficulty. No matter how well Iga, Ben and his team has planned. In software development, there's a high possibility that things won't go as planned. One unique thing about software development is that it's very difficult to give an estimated time of completion. Unlike when building physical things like a house or condominium or whatever. When that happens, our role is to support them. If they really need more budget, I'll be glad to put in some more $. (and yeah, there're gonna be more rewards for me XD) One good news is that Inti-creates have fresh experience on Unreal Engine 3 with Mighty No.9. Bloodstained uses Unreal Engine 4 but I bet all the UE3 development experience applies. It's not that you go from UE3 to, say, UE9 or something like that, in which case your team are in for a big re-learning. It's a good idea to have a sticky telling people to expect development delays and budget/deadline problems. So when it happens, there're less backlash. Develop a game with PURE OPENGL OMG that's definitely horrible experience... That's exactly why we need game engines... Actually I'd like to see this game roll out at the end of 2017, even in early 2018...considering there's so much work to do (especially the Roguelike Mode, that would be tough in both designing and coding).

1) Very nice link. There are interesting facts I didn't know about regional differences. 2) About the JP link, my computer is not understanding the unicode and weird letters appear. BTW, it doesn't happen with other Japanese sites. I somehow remembered geocities' pages are actually not in Unicode. Try to set the codepage into Shift-JIS manually.
