I was wondering since this wasn't mentioned in the May Kickstarter update...What will the minimum/recommended system spec requirement for the new backer beta demo that's coming out on June 21 be? Will it be pretty much the same as that for the previous backer E3 demo we got a year or two ago? Thx.
The recommended specs for the 2016 demo weren't revealed until the demo codes were distributed, so I get the feeling they'll probably be doing the same with this one.
That demo ran at round 16-18 fps on the computer I was using at the time, so I'm also curious to see whether the recommended specs for this demo will be different or not. I hope the code has been better optimized so the game will be less demanding.

I imagine the requirements will be very similar to 2016. Here's what they were:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X6 Memory: 8 GB RAM GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7790 or Nvidia GeForce GTX650TI (DirectX 11 required) Storage: 5GB available space If you're using Windows 7, we strongly suggest using Aero mode in order to play in windowed mode. (If you don't use Aero Mode, it will lag and slow the process speed.) The demo only works with XInput-compatible controllers.
Were they still with Inti for that original demo? I'm thinking the specs could end up varying quite a bit because of the change in developer as well as updates based on the overall game development itself.
Scars Unseen: There's no reason to choose. Both can be true.

RichterB: Was there some hit detection problems with the original 2016 demo? My PC's running the framerate with a bit of lag, but even so, there are spots where, with the long sword equipped, my strikes do no connect with the enemy. Feet attacks seem fine, though.

XombieMike: New rule added

Astaroth: that include retro emulators?

Scars Unseen: If the piracy thing at the bottom is the new rule, then I would assume the standard "talk of emulation is okay; talk about acquiring roms is not" would apply. Emulation is completely legal so long as the game data is legally obtained.

Scars Unseen: I don't think GOG lets you set up pages as far out from release as we are. Steam's kind of an unregulated cesspool, so it's not surprising that you can set up a page there with no actual release date.

Scars Unseen: Just checked GOG. Yeah, I don't think you can even put up a page until you start taking pre-orders.

Scars Unseen: We don't even have a release date yet. A bit early to be worrying about that.

Astaroth: well bloodstained has a demo on steam and that may be the reason it has a listing in the first place, also some of the dev comments on the page are funny like TBD - Don't use a potato PC and you'll be fine.

Astaroth: also i dont think some of the screenshots where released elsewhere

Autumn: Gosh, I love jokes like that. I'm reminded of the System Requirements section on UNDERTALE Soundtrack's Steam page.
