I was wondering since this wasn't mentioned in the May Kickstarter update...What will the minimum/recommended system spec requirement for the new backer beta demo that's coming out on June 21 be? Will it be pretty much the same as that for the previous backer E3 demo we got a year or two ago? Thx.
The recommended specs for the 2016 demo weren't revealed until the demo codes were distributed, so I get the feeling they'll probably be doing the same with this one.
That demo ran at round 16-18 fps on the computer I was using at the time, so I'm also curious to see whether the recommended specs for this demo will be different or not. I hope the code has been better optimized so the game will be less demanding.

I imagine the requirements will be very similar to 2016. Here's what they were:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X6 Memory: 8 GB RAM GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7790 or Nvidia GeForce GTX650TI (DirectX 11 required) Storage: 5GB available space If you're using Windows 7, we strongly suggest using Aero mode in order to play in windowed mode. (If you don't use Aero Mode, it will lag and slow the process speed.) The demo only works with XInput-compatible controllers.
Were they still with Inti for that original demo? I'm thinking the specs could end up varying quite a bit because of the change in developer as well as updates based on the overall game development itself.
LeoLeWolferoux: I'd be happy with Alucard as well. Besides, this essentially opens the door, anyway

RichterB: So now that the Simon, Ice Climbers, and Ridley E3 rumors for Smash are true, and RE2 Remake is real...the other E3 rumor connected to those was about a new Castlevania game project in development. I'm intrigued!

Bardic Knowledge: I think it would be cool if the Belmonts' Amiibos had functionality with Bloodstained.

Enkeria Gin: Bloodstained does not belong in Smash. There I said it.

Brainiac: But what about Smash (amiibos) in Bloodstained?

Brainiac: And if Miriam and co. get as popular as Shovel Knight, she might at least make Assist Trophy status.

Yän: Wow that's amazing... I need a switch

Yän: I just noticed that noisycroak made the smash ultimate main theme. Pretty cool!

Saint Germain: I am late but simon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bardic Knowledge: I'm more interested in playing as Richter. But that's partly because Symphony of the Night was my first Castlevania.
Aug 12, 2018 11:32:54 GMT -6
Yän: You're not alone. Richter as a character just has more appeal to me.
Aug 12, 2018 12:51:05 GMT -6
purifyweirdshard: I started with NES too and I still like Richter way more. Simon probably isn't even top 5 haha

Scuttlest: Based on my limited Castlevania experience (Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclesia, Rondo X PSP remake, and Symphony of The Night) Richter is the Belmont I'm most familiar with, so I'm game with his inclusion.

MorningSun: Simon is iconic for being in the first game, and in many that came after, however, because he is the first one, he's a bit more basic as a character compared to later ones (I still like him too, but Richter is really cool).
Aug 12, 2018 18:21:52 GMT -6
MorningSun: Oh, also, I am quite happy about the amount of Castlevania music in Smash right now, to say the least. The series has so much good music it's not surprising that they just decided to go crazy with it. haha
Aug 12, 2018 18:23:57 GMT -6
MorningSun: (Even Go! Getsu Fuuma, which is not even originally from Castlevania! And I really like that game, so I always enjoy when anything from that game is referenced anywhere really).
Aug 12, 2018 18:24:59 GMT -6
gunlord500: That game has a great OST

purifyweirdshard: I was surprised Fuuma was on there myself, especially funny considering it made it over other potential CV classics lol. I think Konami OGs really like/respect that game. It's interesting also how Noisycroak did the game's main theme, as Yan pointed out

purifyweirdshard: Some Konami/Bloodstained DNA in there
