Very glad to hear that they are going to give Vepar a redesign. I felt the colors where too vibrant and over-the-top--very out-of-place for this type of game. I look forward to seeing the redesign with more of a gothic look. It actually makes me very happy that they are addressing it. Hopefully, they will apply the gothic look throughout the entire game. Color is good, but green, purple, and red all on the same enemy? It just doesn't work, IMO.

ive mentioned it before, but i think theres a way to keep vepars bright colors and still keep it very gothic by smart placement of colors, like having the blue/purple on the underwater half, the green kelp, a more fleshy skin tone, bright hair and crystal, it would give it a very eyecatching look from afar and make it look very alluring and feminine and it wouldnt be until its too late when you see the horrific side of this creature, this juxtaposition of horror and beauty is very gothic, so im curious to see exactly how they adjust vepar ^^

Varity is key. If we see one boss / miniboss with colorful palette, I guess it might set the rules of the rest of the bosses. And now they know about people thinking too much color gets a "bad vibe" I guess?!
We might see what next gameplay might show us in terms of colors.
