There is still a little mystery around it, but it brings up something new I haven't seen yet. It's definitely something IGA has commented on.

I'm a terrible fan, I haven't listened to a podcast yet. I dunno, every time I listen to a podcast (haven't tried your guys'), I feel like it's a waste of time. people talking about waiting for othe rpeople, shuffling papers, going uhh and duh, rambling about stuff I don't care about. I just want the news qq. Feels like information I want to know about is beinb held hostage by a news medium I hate ='(

That doesn't make you a terrible fan at all. I think there are some great moments in the show for people who are either hungry to know anything new about development or just interested in getting to know the people involved with the game.

I really wish there was an easier way to transcribe the show so that people could read through and see what went on.

If you are curious you could hit it up on YouTube and change the play speed faster to see if it's a more tolerable way to listen. The pitch adjusts so it's not like chipmunks. I don't think you can do that on mobile, though.

Something i just noticed in the cosplay thread may point to why both the extra shoulder part is there and why the rose got moved down closer to the center of her chest

If you look at the other pics you can see the shoulder better, but here you cant see the curse at all from the side, and the width the mantle is on that side to be wearable partially obscures it
On the new game pic the mantle is wider and has a v cutout that keeps it from obscuring the curse, and the curse has been moved
If you applied those to the cosplay pic above, i think youd end up with an easily worn mantle that doesnt obscure the curse and thats much more readily visible from both sides without having to make the character constantly turned toward the camera like alucards up stance from  sotn

I am talking about left shoulder, thats why i said it was visible in the other pics, that pic above illustrates the side view issue with the curse being obscured which i think ties into the new placement of the rose, not the shoulder piece itself

Heres the pic i mean that shows the mantle obscuring the rose, a v cutout like on the new mantle design would keep it visible

I personally like the concept image more, but overall like the design.

I'm quite late to this thread, but...perhaps that shoulder-tail (or shoulder-cape ) will be optional? Perhaps it'll only appear when equipping certain things?
